DIPOLOG
CITY (June 28, 2018) – The responding Police
arrested the suspect of stabbing incident transpired at Sitio Virginia, Brgy
Diwan, Dipolog City at about 7:00 PM of June 26, 2018.
Police identified the arrested suspect
as Liezel Elias y Sandao, 37, single and a resident of Sitio Linay, Diwan,
Dipolog City.
The victim was identified as Jovanne
Gumalani y Sagayan, 24yo, single and a resident of Purok Lumbia, Brgy Ceres, Katipunan,
Zamboanga Del Norte.
Victim sustained stabbed wounds on his
left chest and was brought to Zamboanga Del Norte Medical Center.
Meanwhile, suspect is now detained at
Dipolog CPS Detention Cell.

Ordinance Violator Held in Katipunan
KATIPUNAN,
ZaNorte (June 28, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Katipunan MPS
conducted manhunt operation at Brgy. Singatong, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte
on June 26, 2018
at about 3:00pm.
The operation was resulted to the
arrest of Aldren Elemia Lumayaw, 32 years old, and a resident of Brgy.
Singatong, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The said wanted person was arrested by
virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Kenneth P. Rosal of MTCC, Branch 2,
Dipolog City for Violation of City Ordinance No.107 docketed under criminal
case number B-46780 with bail bond recommended fixed at Two Thousand Pesos (P2,
000.00).
The arrested subject person is now
under the custody of Katipunan MPS
for proper disposition.
Farmer
Arrested in Siayan for Theft
SIAYAN,
ZaNorte (June 28, 2018) – The PNP
personnel of Siayan MPS successfully arrested the wanted person during the
conduct of manhunt operation at Sitio Taque, Barangay Datagan, Siayan, Zamboanga
Del Norte at about 3:00 AM of June 26, 2018.
Police identified the arrested person
as Lorenso Andile y Sumangcad aka ‘Jun-Jun’, 28 years old, farmer, married,
Filipino and a resident of Sitio Taque, Brgy. Datagan, Siayan.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of
warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Nimfa B. Carreon-Padao dated May
29, 2018 for the crime of Theft docketed under criminal case number 12967 with
bail bond recommended fixed at Twelve Thousand Pesos (P12, 000.00).
The accused is now detained at Siayan
MPS Detention Cell for proper disposition.
Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident
PIÑAN, ZaNorte (June 28, 2018) - Vehicular accident transpired at
the National Highway of Barangay Poblacion, South, Piñan, Zamboanga Del Norte
at about 12:40PM of June 26, 2017.
Initial
investigation conducted disclosed that the motorcycles involved were:
MC1- Black
Kawasaki Rouser Motorcycle bearing plate
number attach JA33502 driven by Loreto Duhaylungsod Abila, 50 years old,
married, a diocesan social action center staff, diocese of Dipolog, a resident
of Jose Dalman, with back rider name Marie Vie T Giingguing, legal age,
married, a resident of Sicayab, Dipolog City, and
MC2- Red
Skygo Motorcycle, without plate number attach
driven by Ronnie Abajar Castillon, 44 years old, single, jobless, failed
to present official receipt and certificate of registration, without driver’s license and
with two back riders namely Wilfredo Salor Castillo, 68 years old, married, jobless and his wife Caridad Abajar
Castillo, 70 years old, all residents
of Barangay Bagong Silang, Piñan.
Further
investigation revealed that while MC1 was travelling from Mutia, towards the municipality of Piñan and upon reaching
at the bridge located at Poblacion, South, Piñan, MC2 who was travelling in
opposite direction in high speed motion accidentally bumped/collided with the Veh1 which resulted
to the two motorcycles fell down on the road.
Both
drivers and passengers incurred injuries and were brought to Piñan District
hospital by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Center (MDRRMC)
personnel for medical treatment while both motorcycles were under the custody
of Piñan MPS for proper disposition.
