Shooting Incident
SINDANGAN - Shooting
incident transpired at Barangay Disud, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about
10:40PM of December 14, 2016particularly beside Big Minz lodging house owned
and managed by Ermina Lumbres y Buot, 69 years old, married, female, Filipino
and a resident at Barangay Disud, Sindangan. Initial Investigation conducted by
the investigator on case disclosed that, at about 10:30PM of December 14, 2016,
the victim identified as Keith Racal Bustamante, 19 years old, single, male,
Filipino and a resident at Barangay Ramon Magsaysay, Sindangan, Zamboanga del
Norte was walking along the road coming from Sindangan Cultural and Sport
Center when suddenly one (1) unidentified motorcycle coming from Sindangan
Cultural and Sport Center suddenly stop and the back rider shot the victim
twice hitting on his body and suspect
fled to unknown direction. While on the process of crime scene
investigation, the team recovered one (1) piece of fired cartridge case for
caliber .45 and one (1) slug. Victim was pronounced dead on arrival (DOA) by
the attending physician Dr. Julieta B Yano. Sindangan MPS now conducting
follow-up investigation in coordination with the friendly forces operating in
Sindangan AOR for possible identification and arrest of the suspect.
Recovery of Dead Body
DAPITAN CITY - One Edgar
Icao Eslit, 48 years old, male, married and a resident of Me Retiro St.
Banonong, Dapitan City came and reported to Dapitan CPS that a certain Alcher
Sagayan Naong, a.k.a “dodong”, 38 years
old, male, single, and a resident of Brgy Carang, Dapitan City, driver of
Abraham Lincoln Alota and temporarily staying at Lourdes Boarding House located
at Barangay Bagting, Dapitan City was discovered dead inside his room at about
7:20 AM of December 14, 2016 by his employer Abraham Lincoln Alota laying at
his bed in supine position. Initial
investigation conducted by PO3 Nick A. Quimiguing disclosed that the victim has
history of high blood pressure and was resuscitated twice due to his high blood
pressure. Then prior to the incident at about 9:00 pm of December 13, 2016, the
victim together with his employer went to the city plaza and ate fertilized
duck egg (ballot) and drank bottle of beer, thereafter, went home. Then at
about 5:30 am of December 14, 2016, the kitchen maid Mannilyn Mejorada
Recososa, knocked the door of the room of the victim purposely to get the key
of the gate, but the victim didn’t rose-up instead, shouted to Manillyn
Recososa to keep quite because he was sleeping. Post Mortem examination
conducted by Dr. Rolito Cataluña, City Health Officer noted the victim bitten
his own tongue and already urinate on his short pants. Cause of death is
cardiac arrest.
Recovered Abandoned Motorcycle
SINDANGAN - A motorcycle
fell down and abandoned on the river bank beside at Laputay bridge located at
the boundary of Siare Valley, Barangay. Siare and Barangay Bago, Sindangan ,Zamboanga
Del Norte at about 7:00 in the morning of December 14, 2016.
Initial investigation
conducted disclosed that, said motorcycle verified as Honda XRM Motorcycle,
color red, bearing Plate no. 1033 JH, chassis no. XRM15115303 and engine no.
XRM15E115304, no certificate of registration and other documents recovered at
the motorcycle. Accordingly based on the testimony of Antonio B. Sarita, 65
years old, male, Filipino and Romeo D. Perez, 55 years old, male, married both
residing near at the bridge who discovered the said motorcycle that more or
less 3:00 dawn of December 14, 2016 they heard a slowdown moving motorcycle and
thereafter they heard a noise something fell down on the river bank. After few
minutes, Romeo D. Perez checked on the river and he found out one (1)
motorcycle tumbled on the river and he strongly believed it was abandoned by
unidentified person/s. Immediately he reported to the barangay officials/tanods
and same was reported to Sindangan MPS. Said motorcycle was brought to
Sindangan MPS for further investigation and proper disposition.
Thievery Incident
TAMPILISAN - One
Marissa Paculanang Ecuben, 33, married and a resident of Barangay Panabang
Liloy, reported to Tamplisan MPS that her cellular phone described as Samsung
Dous, color white was allegedly taken by unidentified person at Barangay Poblacion,
Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 1:00 PM of December 14, 2016. Suspect
was cited at the barber shop at Barangay Poblacion, Tampilisan, the responding
PNP team come closer to the suspect and asked if he has a cellular phone but
the suspect denied it. The owner of the cellular phone personally identified
the suspect as the one who took her cellular phone and even dials the number of
the cellular phone using other cellular phone to prove that the said phone was
in the position of the suspect, the phone rang in the short pants pocket of the
suspect. The responding PNP arrested the suspect who identified as Junril Goc-Ong
Buendia, 31 years of age, single, and a resident of Barangay. Poblacion,
Tampilisan. Recovered from his possession and control was one (1) Samsung Dous color
white and positively recognized by the said owner. Suspect was brought to
Tamplisan MPS for filing of appropriate in court.
Vehicular Accident
SIOCON - An Passenger
Bus under Alga Bus Liner which was carrying several passengers was accidentally
fell down on a ravine located at municipal road of Sitio Sicacak, Barangay Candiz,
Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 2:40 PM of December 14, 2016.
Investigation showed that the said bus is an Alga Bus liner color combination
of green, yellow and white with plate number JVF 501 registered under the name
Renante S. Alga, driven by Alexander Canzay Bilando, 35 years old married and a
resident of Baybay, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte with license number
JO1-05-000600 which will expire on October 18. 2017. Said bus was travelling
from Ipil Zamboanga Sibugay bound to Siocon with more or less thirty-five (35)
passengers. Upon reaching at said place the driver was not able to maneuver the
steering wheel due to a mechanical problem wherein the steering wheel has
automatically lacked which caused the bus to fell into the ravine of said place
which height is more or less thirty (30) meters. On the consequences thereof
following named passengers were injured to wit; Marivic Guindoy y Hinuguin, 32
years old, married, resident of Sitio Cuyan, Siocon with her three months old
son John Paul Guindoy, Sherwin Tautoan y Borres, seven (7) years old resident
of Mambong, Siocon, Helen Amadi, 40 years old, married, resident of Makiang,
Siocon, Jonard Pinero y Dandana 38 years old, married, resident of Makiang
Siocon. Above named passengers injured were brought to Ipil Sibugay Hospital
for immediate medical attention. Said bus was still at the ravine while driver
was brought at Siocon MPS for further investigation and proper disposition.
