Hacking Incident
LEON B. POSTIGO - Hacking
incident occurred at about 6:00 PM of December 12, 2016 in Barangay Tiniguiban,
Leon B Postigo, Zamboanga Del Norte. The victim was identified as Mico Cabalida
Y Banaag, 6 years old, a retarded child, and a resident of Sitio Bongbong
Dalid, Tiniguiban, Leon B Postigo. The victim was hacked to death with the use
of sharp bolo by three suspects namely: Hernani Artaho, 40 years old; certain
“Jei-Jie Talaugon, 37 years old; and certain “Suping” Villagracia 62 years old,
both married, farmers, and all residents of said place. Incident happened at
about 6:00 o’clock in the evening of same date inside the residence of the
couple Antonio-Pina Cabalida of same place and the grandparents of the victim. Initial
investigation conducted disclosed and according to the reporter that prior to
the incident, Lolita Artaho, wife of suspect Hernani, informed Eusebio
that the three suspects believed to be under the influence of liquor, were sharpening their respective bolos,
uttering that they will attack the house of the above-mentioned couple
Antonio-Pina Cabalida and they will kill all the household members. That after
he received such information, he then went to the house of the couple but upon
his arrival at the house of the victim, he saw the victim’s dead body inside
the said house bleeding, sustaining hack wound on his head. PNP personnel of
Leon B Postigo MPS is now conducting follow-up investigation at the crime scene
and also conducting pursuit operation for possible arrest of the suspect.

Stabbing Incident
LEON B. POSTIGO - One
Edgar Bagasina Y Tabigue, 45 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Sta.
Maria, Leon B Postigo, Zamboanga Del Norte, former resident of Metro
Homes,Calauag, Naga City, Camarines Sur appeared to Leon B Postigo MPS and
voluntarily submitted himself for an alleged stabbing of his brother identified
as Teodoro Bagasina, Y Tabigue, 44 years old, married, Company Worker and a
resident of Recodo, Zamboanga City. Incident happened at the residence of tier
father Wilfredo Bagasina at Riverside, Poblacion, Leon B Postigo, Zamboanga Del
Norte at about 12:35 in the morning of December 13, 2016. The Leon Postigo MPS proceeded
to the aforementioned place and at about 12:40 AM of same date, the responding
team arrived at the crime scene and found the dead body of the victim. Initial
investigation conducted disclosed that on the afternoon December 11, 2016, the
victim arrived at the house of his father Wilfredo Bagasina to visit his
children. That on the morning of December 13, 2016, while the victim was
asleep, the brother suspect forcibly entered the said house by destroying the
bamboo split grill walling at the kitchen and thereafter using a double bladed
knife, stabbed the victim hitting at the left chest which believed to be the
cause of the victim’s instantaneous death.
Further investigation revealed that the victim’s daughter Natasha May
Bagasina, 14 years old was allegedly raped by the suspect. The suspect
threatened the rape victim that if she will reveal the said incident, something
will be happened to her family and when the victim arrived, suspect believed
that the said minor revealed the incident to her father.Recovered from the
crime scene was a one (1) piece double bladed knife. SPO2 Eusebio M. Cabual
with contact number 09067691121 is now preparing appropriate case against the
suspect for filing in court.
Drowning Incident
SINDANGAN - An unidentified
male dead body was found at the seashore of Barangay Tigbao, Sindangan, Zamboanga
Del Norte at about 10:00AM of December 13, 2016. Initial investigation
conducted disclosed that the victim identified as Roberto Villagracia y Vidal,
44 years old, male, single, Filipino and a resident of Sitio TF, Barangay Tigbao,
Sindangan. Accordingly, at about 7:00PM of December 12, 2016, victim (Roberto)
who was believed to be under the influence of intoxicating liquor, went on
fishing with Carlito Sedigo, legal age, male, married, Filipino and resident of
Sitio TF, Brgy. Tigbao, Sindangan, onboard on red double pump boat operated by
Alberto Cornijas y Casipong a resident of Barangay. Bantayan, Sindangan, while
docked on the seaboard of Barangay. Tigbao, without the knowledge of the
operator of the said boat and allegedly the victim accidentally fell to the sea
and cannot be found. Meanwhile at about 7:00AM of December 13, 2016, the victim
was found tied/hanged on the roof of the agar-agar plantation lifeless. The
said cadaver was turned-over to the Barangay officials of Tigbao, Sindangan,
Spot Report on Shooting Incident involving PO1 Rommel Ruiz and PO2 Ronan
Quizo
DAPITAN CITY - At about 11:00 o’clock in the evening of December 12,
2016, a Brgy. Chairman Francisco Adasa went and reported to Dapitan CPS that
PO1 Romer Ruiz was shot by unidentified person at Brgy Napo, Dapitan City. Upon
receipt of the said report, personnel of said station immediately responded to
verify the veracity of the said report. Initial investigation conducted
revealed that 8:00 o’clock in the morning the victim PO1 Romer Ruiz and PO2
Ronan Quizo proceeded to Brgy. Napo, Dapitan City to provide covert security at
the Fiesta Celebration of said Barangay. Both victims proceeded to the
basketball court to further provide security at the Disco. At about 10:30 o’clock
in the evening of same date, a commotion transpired inside Basketball court
which prompted PO1 Ruiz to respond. As the victim approached them, a certain Gildo
Alon aka “Toto Alon” and Gilbert Pasa Taruc aka “Daker” waylaid and argued with
him. Thereafter, another companion identified later as Charlie Eman Baroy aka
“Lek-lek” suddenly stood up, drew his handgun and shoot PO1 Ruiz on the neck.
Fortunately, PO1 Ruiz was able evade it and struggled to grab the said handgun.
PO2 Quizo immediately responded and helped PO1 Ruiz. During the scuffle,
suspect was able to pull the trigger hitting both police officers. PO1 Ruiz
sustained lone gunshot wounds on the upper abdomen while PO2 Quizo was hit on
his left arm. The two police officers were rushed to Dr. Jose Rizal Memorial
Hospital, Dawo, Dapitan City but PO1 Ruiz was transferred to Zamboanga del
Norte Medical Center for further medical treatment while PO2 Quizo is an
outpatient after medication. On the other hand, suspect also sustained gunshot
wounds and immediately fled away together with a certain Juliet Maghinay
Ramones aka “Joy2x” on board a Honda CB 125 motorcycle without plate number
driven by a certain Jun Samson going to Dapitan City proper. Two (2) empty
shells of caliber 45 were already recovered by the witnesses at the scene. PNP
Personnel of Dapitan CPS immediately conducted manhunt operation wherein at
about 3:00 o’clock in the morning of December 13, 2016 suspect identified as Charlie
Eman Baroy aka “Lek-lek”, 29 years old, male, married and a resident of Brgy.
Cawa-cawa, Dapitan City who was hiding inside abandoned store already dripping
with blood from the gunshot wounds he sustained during the scuffle earlier with
the police officers and Juliet Ramones Maghinay, 42 years old, female, married,
Filipino and a resident of Brgy. Larayan, Dapitan City were arrested at Brgy.
Larayan, Dapitan City. Confiscated from the possession of the suspects were the
following, to wit:
a. One (1)
unit Navy blue Honda CB 125, without plate number;
b. One (1)
piece faded gray short pants;
c. one (1)
white T-shirt both garments with blood stains and bullet holes;
d. One (1)
unit Colt caliber 45 pistol bearing serial number 235347 loaded with one (1)
cartridge on its chamber;
e. One (1)
magazine for caliber 45 loaded;
f. Two (2)
cartridge of caliber 45;
g. One black sling bag containing
one (1) piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white
crystalline granules believed to be “shabu” and toiletries. Suspect Charlie was
brought to Dr. Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital for medical treatment while Juliet
Maghinay is now detained at Dapitan City Police Station pending filing of
appropriate charges. For information.

ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
Arrest of Wanted Person
SIAYAN - A government
employee was arrested by Intelligence personnel of Siayan MPS in his residence
in Sitio Suminalum, Barangay Poblacion, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte, at about
9:00 AM of December 13, 2016. The arrested man was identified as Abner Sibuco y
Sangcaon, 44 years old, married, Government Employee, a resident of said place.
This is by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Presiding Judge Reymar L.
Lacaya of RTC9, Branch 11, Sindangan, for the crime of “Arson” docketed under Criminal
Case Number S-5462 dated Nov 25, 2016 without bail bond recommended. Suspect is
now detained at Siayan MPS detention cell for proper disposition.
