Stabbing Incident
SALUG - Stabbing
incident transpired at Barangay Balakan, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte at about
5:50 PM of January 5, 2018. The victim was
identified as Richard Abne Garingo, 25 years old and a resident of said place. Investigation
disclosed that prior to the incident, at about 5:40 PM of same date, the victim
together with the suspect identified as George Tantay Maloloy-On; 35 years old
a resident of same place had a drinking session near the house of the suspect’s
parent’s in-law at Brgy. Balakan, Salug, after a while, a heated argument
ensued that resulted to a fist fight but later, the suspect went home to get a
hunting knife and returned back then suddenly stabbed the victim hitting his
right palm. Right after the incident the suspect fled away to unknown direction.
Elements of Salug MPS are now conducting hot pursuit operation for the possible
arrest of the suspect. Investigator on-case is Spo1 Ricky O Acas with cellphone
