Shooting Incident
POLANCO - Shooting
incident transpired at Purok Ipil-Ipil, Brgy Labrador, Polanco Zamboanga Del
Norte at about 12:59 PM of January 28, 2018. The
victim was identified as Atty. Eyahiya Salip Ahmad Malon, 79 years old,
married, businessman and a resident Brgy Turno, Dipolog City.. Initial
investigation conducted disclosed that the victim who had a farm lot at the
aforementioned place used to visit every Sunday. that at about 12:40 PM of same
date, the victim together with his employee, a certain Victor Camoras Abubutal,
25 years old, a resident of Brgy Villahermosa, Polanco arrived at the place of
incident on-board Nissan Navarra bearing plate no. PXI 452 which was owned by
the victim. then and there, Victor Abubutal disembarked from the vehicle and
proceeded to the farm for grass cutting wherein the victim remain and sleep
inside the parked vehicle, while the victim was sleeping, two (2) unidentified
suspects from nowhere appeared wearing dust mask and suddenly shot the victim
to death from the distance of around 30 meters away using a high powered
firearm base on the empty shells recovered. after which, the gunman immediately
ran towards the vehicle maybe to check the victim if it was already dead and ran
back towards the awaiting cohort of the suspect who was riding in a black XRM without
plate number and immediately left the area and fled to unknown direction. Victor
Abubutal then rushed to the victim to find out what happened after hearing a
successive burst of fire, thereat he found out that the victim sustained
multiple gunshots and bloody that prompted him to ask for help from the
neighbor. Provincial Crime Laboratory Office conducted the crime scene
processing while Dr. Juliana Uy – MHO of Polanco conducted the post mortem
examination and found out that the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds in
his body that caused his instantaneous death. Recovered from the crime were
eleven (11) empty shells of 5.56 mm caliber firearm. Polanco MPS are still conducting
follow-up investigation/operation for identity and possible arrest of the
suspects. The investigator on case is PO3 Ritchie Denoyo Elloren with cp #

Violation of RA 9165
LILOY – On or about
12:20 PM of January 28, 2018, operatives of Liloy MPS in coordination with by
PDEA conducted buy bust operation at Barangay Villa C. Sudiacal, Liloy,
Zamboanga Del Norte. This resulted in the arrest of Dexter Tabanao Sarang,
(pusher), male, Filipino; single, 18 years old, a resident of Lamao, Liloy. The
evidence recovered from his possession were, one (1) pc small heat sealed
transparent plastic sachet believed to be “shabu” (buy bust item), one (1) pc
small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet believed to be “shabu” (recovered
from his possession and control) and one (1) pc one hundred peso bill bearing
serial no. bc543554 as marked money. A case was filed for violation of RA 9165
and arrested suspect is now temporary detained at Liloy MPS.
Hacking Incident
SERGIO OSMEÑA –
Hacking incident occurred at about 11:20 PM of January 27, 2018 at Barangay Don
Eleno, Sergio Osmena, Zamboanga Del Norte. Wherein the victim identified as
Lito Gandamon Tumubo, 41 years old, and the suspect identified as Franklin
Roman Cantutay, 26 years old, both residents of said place. Investigation
conducted disclosed that at around 9:00 PM of same date, the victim and the
suspect where in a drinking spree and had a heated argument outside the
residence of the aforementioned brgy captain and minutes later, the suspect
hacked the victims several times hitting in the different parts of his body
that caused his instantaneous death and suspect fled away after the incident. Meanwhile,
at about 6:00 am of January 28, 2018, the suspect was arrested by the
responding team and now temporary detained at said police station for proper
disposition. The investigator on case is Po2 Danny Ogoc Dizon with CP #

Vehicular Traffic Accident
BALIGUIAN – Vehicular
accident at Brgy Mamawan, Baliguian Zamboanga Del Norte On or about 3:30 PM of January 28, 2018. Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that a cargo truck fuso fighter loaded with copra bearing plate no. YLF
532 with engine no 6d16-921887, chassis no fk617f-a00013 owned and driven by Sabdala
M Jamalul was travelling from Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte bound to Dipolog
City and upon arrival at the place of accident, the driver lost control of his
driven vehicle due to brake malfunction that resulted to the said vehicular
accident, as a result the said truck bump the house of a certain Evangiline
Suana Dejillo. Further investigation disclosed that the truck driver together
with his passengers’ Siera Mukadam Salap, 54 years old, and Raphy Jamalul, 35
years old, all residents of Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte instantaneously died
during the accident and two (2) others were immediately brought to the nearest
hospital for immediate medical attention. The house involved was partially
damaged with no injured person reported on the said residential house, while
the truck was now in the custody of Baliguian MPS for proper disposition.
