- A vintage bomb explosion (81mm mortar bomb) incident transpired at Sitio Washington
Brgy Guban, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 4:30 PM of January 3, 2018 with
grid coordinates at 1664130399. initial investigation disclosed that certain Marcelo
Antogon, tapper, single who found one (1) piece 81mm mortar bomb along riverside
of Sitio Durian, Guban, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte and brought it to Sitio
Washington Zamboanga Del Norte and hammered the said 81mm mortar using a number
4 nail believing that it contains gold inside with the presence of his
neighbors/co-workers which causes the explosion and killed on the spot the
following victims identified as follows, Marcelo Antogon, Roel Balamban, Robert
Timbulaan, Loed Timbulaan, Ben Timbulaan, Lade Balamban, Joefer Timbulan,
Junrey Sango, Lito Timbulaan, Joey Sandigon, Edick Malanao, Arnel Quemas And
Junrey Quimas. personnel of Siraway MPS together with the personnel of Zamboanga
Del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company (ZNPMFC) responded to the crime scene
to verify the veracity of said report and conducted investigation. Investigator
