Theft Incident
DIPOLG CITY - The
house of certain Melche Baros Y Gamoc, 36 years old, single and a resident of
Purok Parpagayo, Barangay Lower Dicayas, Dipolog City, was allegedly entered by
unidentified perpetrator/s passing through the open window. Suspect/s took cash
money amounting to One Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 100,000.00. Incident was
discovered at more or less 6:00 A.M. of same date. Initial investigation
conducted disclosed that at around 6:00 o’clock in the morning of November 14,
2016. Melche Baros y Gamoc and her live-in partner Armando Tayoma y Sagario, 39
years old, single, a resident of same place, discovered black foot marks and
hand marks in the slab floor of the terrace of the second floor of her house
near to the window of her bedroom where the cash money amounted to one hundred
thousand pesos (Php 100,000.00) intended for the workers’ wages, was kept
inside. The Crime Laboratory personnel processed the marks in the terrace for
available latent foot prints and finger prints afterward took standard from the
employees of her ongoing construction building at the back of her house. The
duty-inquest investigator, PO3 Allan S. Tapales asked Melche Baros, the house
owner to go the second floor to check the room where the alleged stolen money
is keep in a pouch, but she refused and told the duty investigator that she
don’t want the room to be check. The investigator asked the house owner again
if he can be allowed to look and to take picture of the room where the thievery
occurred but she and her live-in partner refused and told to the police that
she only wanted to know who the culprit is, by identifying if the prints match
to any of the standards. Melche Baros further added that she believes that the
incident was believed to have happened on November 13, 2016, at around 9:00
o’clock in the morning when she and her live-in partner went to the market.
Elements of Dipolog City Police Station still conducting follow-up investigation
on the said incident to identify the possible suspect/s.
Clubbing Incident
DIPOLOG CITY - Stabbing
incident at Barangay Diwan, Dipolog City at about 10:00 o’clock in the evening
of November 14, 2016, wherein victim identified as Lucresio Bacot Y Caballero,
47 years old, single, and a resident of said place, was clubbed several times
hitting on his head with the used of wood by the suspect identified as alias
“Bonjot Cabiles” of legal age, married and a resident of the same place. The
incident transpired at the Sari-sari store of alias “Dodoy Romanda” at about
10:00 o’clock in the evening of the same date. After the incident, the suspect
fled to unknown direction to evade arrest of the responding team while the
victim was immediately brought to Zamboanga Del Norte Medical Center Dipolog
City for medical treatment and still confine at the said hospital.
Robbery Incident
DIPOLOG CITY - The Upper
Dicayas Integrated School, located at Upper Dicayas, Dipolog City was allegedly
entered by unidentified persons. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that
the unidentified suspects enter the room of Grade 8, under the advisory of Ms.
Maylen Banagua Y Cuenca, 34 years old, single and a resident of Lalawan,
Dicayas, Dipolog City by detaching four (4) jalousie blades of the window and
once inside took and carted away one (1) unit HP colored grey and black
combination laptop with charger. The suspect also took the hammer inside the
room and used it in destroying the doorknob of the room of the School Principal
Ms. Annabel Gatchalian Y Baynosa, 45 years old, widow and a resident of
Miputak, Dipolog City and once inside opened all the drawers and afterwards
took the school biometric and the 21 inches Sanyo Television and left the
place. The Incident was discovered at around 5:00 o’clock in the morning of
November 15, 2016 by the utility worker of the school Michael Angelo Hilera, 20
years old, single and resident of the same place and was believed to have
happened at around 1:00 A.M. of the same date. Elements of Dipolog City Police Station
are still conducting follow up investigation for the identification of the
suspects for the filing of the case.
Motor Vehicle Non Traffic Accident
GUTALAC - Motor vehicle
traffic accident transpired along the National Highway of Barangay Lux,
Gutalac, Zamboanga del Norte at about 3:05 AM of November 15, 2016, wherein a
black Honda XRM 125 motorcycle with plate number JA 46961, driven by a certain
Ronnie Fernandez, Single, 30 yrs. old, aka Logoy of Barangay Salvador, Gutalac,
Zamboanga del Norte owned by the Motor Ace Company, Sindangan Branch (reposses)
was accidentally bumped a minor identified as Jessa Mile Palma y Bicaldo, 12 yrs.
old resident of Barangay Lux, Gutalac, Zamboanga del Norte. Initial
investigation conducted disclosed that the motorcycle was travelling from
Labason to Gutalac direction driven by certain Ronnie Fernandez who was
believed to be under the influenced of intoxicating liquor and upon reaching at
Barangay Lux, accidentally bumped a minor who was standing on the side of the
road. The Victim sustained serious injury at the right leg and the driver also
sustained injury on his hand. Both were brought to Labason Emergency Hospital
for medication. Allegedly, said motorcycle was taken by Ronnie Fernandez
without the consent of the owner. The MC now temporarily impounded at Gutalac
MPS for proper disposition
Progress Report on Re-shooting to death of
Ex-Barangay Captain and three (3) others in Sirawai
SIRAWAI - Please be informed that on 11:20 A.M.
of November 12, 2016 the late Ex-barangay Captain Bobong Manangca was in front
of his house together with the three victims who was his tenants and about to
take their lunch when suddenly the suspects arrived armed with Cal .45 pistol,
hand grenade, M14 and homemade shotgun and without any provocation, the
suspects open fired to the victims. And relative to said incident certain
Teresa Ginja, 37 year old, wife of Andy Ginja also sustained gunshot wounds on
her back. That at about 9:00 o’clock in the morning of November 13, 2016 the
late victim Ex-barangay Captain Bobong Lumigis Manangca was buried at Barangay
Balubuan, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte by his immediately family. The three (3)
other wounded were still at Zamboanga Medical Center and now in a stable
medical condition. at about 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon of November 13, 2016,
the wife of the late Bobong Lumigis Manangca identified as Tatah Conding
Mangca, 37 year old, and elder sister of the victim identified as Julaiha Lukman Anwari, 45 year old, separated
appeared to Sirawai MPS and executed their Judicial Affidavit as complainant
and witness to said incident and positively identify all the suspects of ex-Barangay
Captain Bobong Lumigis Manangca as: Bating Lumigis, Haron Muntong, Basser
Sabbudin, Alih Lumigis, Mahaimin Lumigis, Ibrahim Sabuddin, and Ato Lumigis.
The motive of the incident is still to be determined. However, based on the collective
information gathered by Sirawai MPS, the victim was being suspected as one of
the informers of Sirawai Police, wherein the police served a Search Warrant at
the resident of Erwin Dacula that then resulted to the death of Mohammad
Sabuddin (relative of the suspects) after the shootout.

Alleged ASG Arrested for Violation of RA

BALIGUIAN - An
alleged member of Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) was arrested in Barangay Nonoyan,
Baliguian, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:45PM of November 15, 2016. Police
Chief Inspector Abubakar A. Ibno – Baliguian Police Chief, identified the
arrested man as Abdul Nasser Julpai Y Abulong, 32 years old, married and a
resident of above-mentioned place. Suspect was arrested during the follow up
operation after he was accused of alarm and scandal at the mentioned place.
Recovered from his possession was one (1) unit fragmentation grenade. He was
found out to be an alleged member of Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) during the tactical
interrogation conducted by the police. Arrested suspect is now temporarily
detained at the mentioned police station pending for the filing of appropriate
charges in court against him. Investigator on case is PO2 Ryan M. Atog with CP
number 0975-322-3177.
Arrest of Wanted Person
ROXAS - A farmer was
arrested by elements of Roxas MPS in Purok 2, Barangay Banbanan, Roxas,
Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:00 AM of November 15, 2016. Arrested was
identified as Ceferina Belvestre Vale, 75 years old, widow, farmer and a
resident of said place. He was arrested at their residence by virtue of Warrant
of Arrest issued by Veronica C. DG-Laput, Acting Presiding Judge of MTC Roxas,
ZN docketed under Criminal Case Nr 1880 for Malicious Mischief dated November
3, 2016 with recommended bail of ten thousand pesos (Php10, 000.00) for her
temporary liberty. The accused now temporarily detained at Roxas MPS for
documentation and for proper disposition.
