Drowning Incident
SINDANGAN - Two (2)
dead bodies were separately found floating at the high seas of Barangay Inuman
and Barangay Maras, both of Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:15 AM of November
8, 2016. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the two (2) dead bodies
were identified as John Carlo Apita Y Biadnes, 17 years old, male Filipino,
single and a resident of Barangay Goleo, Sindangan and Leahlyn Jabonillo Y
Lucas, 10 years old, female, Filipino and a resident of Lawis, Sindangan, Accordingly, in the morning of November 6,
2016, the two (2) victims were separately went on swimming together with Jolo
Jabonillo Y Biadnes, 13 years old, male, Filipino and other unidentified children
at the sea of Sitio Balwang, Goleo, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte. That while
on the height of swimming, Jolo Jabonillo stated that victim (John Carlo)
suddenly went to the unexpected underwater precipice area causing him drowned
and disappeared. The populace including the other victim (Leahlyn Jabonillo)
tried to rescue but while on the process of searching the first victim,
unexpectedly victim (Leahlyn) discovered by the populace disappeared and
believed to be drowned also. Meanwhile,
at about 6:00AM of November 8, 2016 the victim (Leahlyn) was found floating at
the high seas of Barangay Maras by the fishermen and at about 6:10AM of same
date, victim (John Carlo) was found floating at the high seas of Barangay
Inuman by the victim’s concern neighbors. The post mortem conducted by Mr. Bernardo
Nayre revealed that the cause of their death were due to drowning. The two (2)
dead bodies were immediately turned-over to their respective parents for proper

Arrest of Wanted Persons
DAPITAN CITY - The police elements of Dapitan City Police
Station conducted manhunt operation at Barangay Banonong, Dapitan City at about
10:30 AM of November 8, 2016. This resulted to the arrest of Christian Jay
Cabilin Pañosa, 16 years old, single, Elmer Insong Eguia Jr, 15 years old,
single, Vince Real Lactuan Eguia, 17 years old, single, all residents of
Banonong, Dapitan City. Subject persons were arrested by virtue of Warrant of
Arrest issued by Presiding Judge Rogelio D. Laquihon of RTC, 9th Judicial
Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City for Violation of Sec. 4 in relation to Sec. 28
(e.1) of RA 10591 Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunition dated October
13, 2016 docketed under Criminal Case Nr 21141 with bail bond recommended
amounting to Forty Thousand Pesos (P40, 000.00) each for their temporary
liberty. Subject persons are now turned-over to RRCY, Polanco, Zamboanga Del
Norte.
Arrest of Wanted Person
KATIPUNAN - Operatives of Katipunan MPS conducted
manhunt operation at Barangay Biniray, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about
3:30PM of November 8, 2016. This resulted to the arrest of one Ignacio Cellio y
Indong, male, Filipino, 64 years old, single, resident of the aforementioned
Barangay and listed in Target Acquisition List of Katipunan MPS.
Suspect was arrested
by virtue of the Warrant of Arrest issued by Presiding Judge Alnaiza T.
Hassiman-Jamud of 5th MCTC of Katipunan – Sergio Osmeña, Sr., 9th Judicial
Region, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte dated October 24, 2016 for the crime of
“Malicious Mischief” docketed in Criminal Case Nr 188-16 (K), with bail bond
recommended amounting to Ten Thousand Pesos (P10, 000.00). The said wanted
person is now detained at Katipunan MPS Detention Cell for proper disposition.

GODOD - The Godod MPS conducted manhunt operation at Barangay
Dipopor, Godod, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 4:00PM of November 8, 2016 . The
operation led to the arrest of Arnold Tuto Antoc, 20 years old, single, male,
jobless, a resident of the above-mentioned place. This is by virtue of warrant
of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Oscar D. Tomarong of RTC 9, Branch 28, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte, for
the crime of Serious Physical Injury docketed under CC Nr L-002949 with bail bond
recommended amounting to Ten Thousand Pesos (P10, 000.00). The said arrested
wanted person is now detained at Godod MPS Detention Cell.

GUTALAC - The member
of Gutalac MPS led by PCI Khisna Bagis Asaali conducted manhunt operation at Barangay
Map, Gutalac, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 11:00 AM of November 8, 2016. This
led to the arrest of Rommel A. Maing, 31 yrs. old, married and a resident of
above-mentioned place. This is by virtue of WOA issued by Presiding Judge Oscar
D. Tomarong of RTC9, Branch 28, Liloy, dated September 22, 2015 for the crime
of Theft docketed under CC Nr L-002525 with bailbond recommended amounting to
One Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos (P120,000.00)

KATIPUNAN - Request
Flash Alarm On Missing Persons. Be informed that at about 6:45 o’clock in the
evening of November 8, 2016, one (1) Roy Bastasa Y Angayan and Robert Bastasa Y
Angayan, both minors, and residents of Barangay Dos, Katipunan, ZN were
reported missing. Accordingly, at about 8:00 o’clock in the morning of November
8, 2016, the two (2) went on fishing onboard green paddle boat (bangka/sakayang
binigiw) at the territorial sea of Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte and until
this time, the two minors failed to return to home. In this connection, you are
hereby directed to coordinate to your respective counterparts and bantay-dagat
to help widen the search of the said missing minors. If found in your AOR,
