Shooting Incident
SIBUTAD - Shooting
incident transpired at Sitio Looc, Libay, Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte at about
7:00 PM of November 6, 2016, wherein victim identified as one alias Randy,
legal age was shot to death by unidentified suspects. As of this report, PNP
personnel of Sibutad MPS are still in the area conducting follow-up
operation/investigation to identify the victim and the suspect and to establish
motive of the incident.
Fire Incident
SERGIO OSMEÑA - Fire incident
occurred at Barangay Labiray, Sergio Osmena, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 3:00
AM of November 6, 2016. Initial investigation disclosed that three (3) houses
owned by Norma B. Pestaño, Alexander Manila and Roberto Malaubang respectively,
wherein two (2) houses were made of concrete and light materials and the other
one (1) is made of light materials were burned into ashes. According to Evy
Malorca, female, 39 years old, who was temporarily sleeping at the house of
Norma Pestaño and was able to jump from the 1st floor and sustained injury, the
fire started at more or less 2AM at the house of Norma Pestano y Bandiala, 55
years old wherein the said person and her granddaughter Prences Norme Manogit,
5 years old were trapped inside the house and were burned. The responding team
immediately contacted nearby Polanco BFP and at around 4:00 AM of same date,
BFP personnel of Dipolog City arrived at the fire scene and an hour later the
fire was in control afterwards the cadaver of the duo was extracted from the
fire scene and turned over to the relatives. Estimated damaged as declared by
BFP is amounting to Php 450,000.00. Caused of fire is yet to be determined.
OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS
Arrest of Wanted Person
MANUKAN - Jose Dalman
MPS led by PCI Vergil Bruce Dacion Dario conducted manhunt operation at
Barangay Disakan, Manukan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:00 PM of November 6,
2016. Arrested was identified as Fernando Geromo Tiu, 53 years old, married and
resident of Barangay Bitoon, Manukan. Subject was arrested by virtue of WOA
issued by Judge Nimfa B. Carreon-Padao of MCTC; Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte
dated 2 September 2016, for the crime of Attempted Homicide docketed in
criminal case number 12656, with bail bond fixed to Twelve Thousand Pesos only
(P12, 000.00). Arrested wanted person was brought and detained at Jose Dalman
MPS for proper disposition.
Arrest of 2 Theft Suspects in Dapitan
DAPITAN CITY - Thievery
incident transpired at Dapitan Family Mart situated along Don Francisco Mercado
St, Bagting, Dapitan City at about 9:20 AM of November 6, 2016. Immediately,
personnel of Dapitan CPS conducted hot pursuit operation at the vicinity of
Brgy Bagting and arrested the two (2) of the three (3) suspects, identified
later as Rogie Jalit Cabocha, 40, male,
married and Rowena Catipay Flores, 47, female, widow, both residents of
Sto Niño, Tagbak, Davao City.
Initial investigation
conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, at about 8:50 AM of same date,
three (3) suspects (one male and two females in which one is pregnant) entered
the said establishment and while the salesclerk were busy, they took goods and
leaved the store. After a while, the salesclerks found two (2) empty boxes of Lactum
powder milk in the store that prompted them to review the CCTV footage of the
establishment and immediately reported to Dapitan CPS. Confiscated from the
possession of the two suspects were the following, to wit;
a. Six (6) packs
Lactum Infant Formula,
b. two (2) Babyflo
Feeding Bottles,
c. two (2) packs
cotton buds,
d. one (1) pc
canister of 200 tips cotton buds, one (1) pc teether,
e. one (1) pc
Skinwhite Lotion, and
f. one (1) pc 225 ml
Eskinol
Total amount of
stolen items is Two Thousand Pesos (Php 2,000.00). Arrested suspects were detained
at Dapitan CPS detention cell for proper disposition.
