Shooting Incident
DIPOLOG CITY - Shooting
incident occurred at Lawag, Galas, Dipolog City. Initial investigation
conducted by the responding team disclosed that prior to the incident, at about
9:30PM of November 12, 2016, the victim identified as Niño Agpasa y Pasco, 34
years old, married and resident of Lawag, Galas, Dipolog City together with his
and relative were having a drinking spree at the store own by Renan Hernan when
unidentified suspect wearing black shirt, and black bull cap stands about 5’7”
in height arrived at the store on foot and without a word, shot the victim
several times hitting on the different parts of his body. After the incident
the suspect fled onboard the motorcycle waiting at the dark portion of the
road, about fifty (50) meters away from the crime scene. The victim was brought
to ZANORTE Medical Center but was declared Dead on Arrival by Dr. Noriega, MD.
Another person identified as Narciso Boreros, 43 years old, married and a
resident of Lawag, Galas, Dipolog City who at that time was lying on the bed
watching television behind the steel gate of the said store was hit by a stray
bullet at the left shoulder and brought also to the same hospital for medical
attention. Recovered from the crime scene were three (3) pieces empty shells of
cal. 45 and one (1) pc slug of believed to be a caliber handgun. The Dipolog
CPS is continuously conducting investigation to identify the suspect and file
appropriate charges in court.
