SIRAWAI - Shooting
incident transpired at about 6:30PM of November 28, 2016 in Barangay Bongon,
Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte. Sirawai MPS identified the victim as Norhadin
Talling Y Ahmad, 28 years old, single and a resident of Barangay Anungan,
Sibuco. He was allegedly shot by unknown assailant. The victim sustained
gunshot wound on the different part of his body and was brought to Sirawai
Rural Health Unit but was later pronounced Dead on Arrival by the attending
Medical Personnel. Investigation revealed that prior to the incident, the
victim went to the house of his mother located at Barangay Bongon, Sirawai, wherein
at around 6:10 PM of same date, the latter went out from the house and at about
sixty (60) meters away, burst of fire heard by populace and when they verify
it, they saw Norhadin Talling Y Ahmad lying in the ground. Recovered at the
crime scene were twelve (12) pcs of empty shell of Cal .45 and two (2) fired
bullets (slugs) of Cal .45. Motive of the incident is still to be determined.
Sirawai MPS now conducting follow-up investigation to identify and arrest the

SIOCON - Shooting incident
transpired in front of VLG Videoke House situated at Poblacion, Siocon
Zamboanga Del Norte
about 8:45 PM of
November 28, 2016. The victim was identified later as certain Ricardo Francisco
Mendiola 44 years old, married, laborer and a resident of Sitio Lower Logpond,
Poblacion, Siocon. He was shot by unidentified suspect using unknown caliber of
Firearm and was hit at the lower right portion of his armpit. The victim was
brought by his friends to Siocon District Hospital for immediate medical
attention. Initial investigation conducted by the responding team disclosed
that 8:35 PM of same date, the victim together with his friends identified as Edgar
Dizon Satao, 28 years old and Jeruel B, Caban 28, both married and residents of
Sitio Lower Logpond, Poblacion, Siocon, were having a drinking spree at VLG
videoke house situated along D. Riconalla Street, Poblacion, Siocon at around
8:35 P.M of same date. After the victim consumed one bottle of beer, he went
outside to urinate but after a while his companion and other customers heard a
gun burst. After several minutes, they only knew that their companion (the
victim) was hit by the gunshot they heard.
As of the moment no pieces of evidence were recovered at the crime
scene. Motive of the incident is still to be determined. Siocon MPS is now
conducting follow-up investigation to identify and arrest the suspect.

OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS
Campaign against Illegal Drugs and Illegal Possession of Firearm
SALUG - The
Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Group (SAIDSOTG) of Salug MPS in
coordination with PDEA conducted a Drug Buy-Bust Operation at Poblacion, Salug,
Zamboanga Del Norte particularly at the vicinity of Salug Public Market at
about 9:10 o’clock in the evening of November 28, 2016. The raiding team
launched the said Law Enforcement Operation against one Alsarip Maani y Hapsan
alyas “Al-Al”, 21 years old, male, Single and resident of Barangay Mucas, Salug
that resulted to his instantaneous death after he offered violent resistance by
pulling his firearm from his waistline and attempted to fire towards the
position of the designated arresting officers that prompted them to defend
themselves. At about 1:30 o’clock early dawn of November 29, 2016, Scene of the
Crime Operatives (SOCO) Team from the Zamboanga del Norte PNP Crime Laboratory
conducted crime scene processing that resulted to the recovery of the following
drug and non-drug evidence at the crime scene and from the possession and
control of the subject and simultaneously marked the same in the presence of
Hon. Jerry Maribojoc and Edelberto Amodia both elected Barangay officials of
said place, Mrs. Victory Joyce C. Tagalog with CP No. 0927-788-6289 – DOJ Representative
and Mr. Argie T. Quimno with CP No. 0930-7024-707 of Radyo Bisdak Dipolog –
representative from the media, to wit:
a) One (1) unit
caliber .38 revolver Springfield without serial number loaded with six .38
caliber live ammos;
b) One (1) pc heat sealed elongated plastic
transparent sachet containing white crystalline substance;
c) One (1) unit red wave alpha 110 motorcycle
without plate number attached,
chassis number KO9L005096 and engine number K09L0E050585;
d) One (1) pc One Thousand Peso bill with
serial number CP929844;
e) Two (2) pcs Five Hundred Peso bills with
serial numbers CK600582 and CM895758;
f) Seven (7) pcs One Hundred Peso bills with
serial numbers KA055333; EA999305; FX923489; BY614941; XN023316; DR496416 and
LV 299405;
g) One (1) pc black Samsung cell phone;
h) One (1) black G-shock wrist watch;
i) One (1) pc battery cell phone torque;
j) One (1) pc black spider sunglass;
k) Three (3) pcs fcc 9 mm caliber;
l) One (1) pc live ammos of cal .45;
m) One (1) pc Ringguit SN BP 1620043; and
n) One (1) pc Ten Peso coin and Two (2) pcs
5 peso coin
Further be informed
that the recovered suspected drug evidence, the firearm and empty shells were
brought by said SOCO team to their office for proper disposition while the
other non-drug evidence recovered were properly turned-over by above-mentioned
SOCO Team leader to the Investigator-On-Case for same purpose. The subject drug
personality was listed in the Drugs Watch List of Salug MPS and has been
operating his illegal drugs activities in Salug municipality and adjacent
municipalities.
Meanwhile, at about
3:00 o’clock in the morning of same date, Post Mortem Examination was performed
on the cadaver of the subject by Dr. Mery Jean E. Bendejo – Municipal Health Officer
of Salug, ZN. Afterwards, said
neutralized drug personality was turned-over to his mother named Jaria Hapsan
Jain for proper disposition.
