Recovery of Car napped Motorcycle
PIÑAN - A 15-year old
minor was arrested after a stolen motorcycle was recovered in his possession at
the National Highway of Barangay Poblacion, South, Piñan, Zamboanga Del Norte
at about 10:40 AM of February 7, 2017. Piñan MPS identified the arrested minor
as Florence Ampad y Aros, 15 years old and a resident of Barangay Linabo,
Dapitan City. The car napped motorcycle was described as Black Yamaha Mio
bearing plate number JA52421, with chassis no. PA040C000E0233184 and engine no.
40C-188907, registered under the name Mrs. Clarke Baguinat Allego, 26 years
old, and a resident of Barangay Linabo, Dapitan City. Investigation showed that
the said suspect entered the premises of the owner through the fence and once
inside, took the said motorcycle key which he found hooked-up near the main
door. The suspect slowly dragged the motorcycle away to avoid detection and
upon reaching at a distance, use the key and drove the motorcycle away. Meanwhile,
a friend of Clarke Baguinat Allego (owner) saw the said motorcycle which was
dragged by the suspect and immediately reported to Piñan MPS for proper
verification. PNP members of Dapitan City Police Station together with Ryan
Gawgano y Banasa, husband of the owner arrived Piñan MPS and Ryan positively
identified the said motorcycle. The recovered motorcycle to include the minor
suspect were turned-over to Dapitan CPS and properly received by PO2 Ronan
Quizo for proper disposition.
Campaign against Illegal Gambling
RIZAL - Elements of
Rizal MPS and PIB, Zamboanga Del Norte PPO conducted joint operation on illegal
gambling at Barangay Napilan, Rizal, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:20 PM of February 7, 2017. This resulted
to the successful arrest of one Helmar Esmade Y Villaruel, 32 years old,
married a resident of Poblacion, Sapangdalaga, Misamis Occidental who was
caught in the act while riding his yellow XRM 125 motorcycle without plate
number, engaged in illegal number game locally known as “Suertres” at Barangay
Napilan, Rizal, Zamboanga Del Norte. Confiscated from the possession and
control of the suspect were the following, to wit: a. twenty six (26) tally
sheets with different number combinations dated February 7, 2017; b. eighteen
(18) blank tally sheets; c. ten (10) suertres tips; d. one (1) ballpen; e. one
(1) paper clip; f. one (1) unit black Samsung cell phone V1200 with transparent
casing; and g. Three Hundred Forty Pesos (P340.00) as collected bet money. The
confiscated items were brought to Rizal MPS for proper disposition while the
arrested suspect is now detained pending filing appropriate charges in court.
Campaign against Illegal Gambling
RIZAL - Operatives of
Rizal MPS arrested one violator (collector/runner) on illegal numbers game
known as swertres identified as Helmar Villaruel Esmade. Suspect was arrested
at Barangay Napilan, Rizal, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:20 PM of February 7,
2017, while collecting swertres tally sheet as well as the money used in
gaming. Subject and the game paraphernalia were brought to Rizal MPS for proper
disposition.
