on Arrest of Wanted Person
DAPITAN
CITY - Be informed that on January 4, 2017 at about 11:20 o’clock in the
morning PNP personnel of Dapitan CPS composed of SPO1 Aldwin A. Tagbac and PO3
Julius Pelusas together with personnel of ZDN-CIDG composed of PCI SAMSON B
PASCUAL, SPO2 Ladislao B Baliola and SPO2 Rey P Vertudes conducted joint
manhunt operation at Brgy. Dawo, Dapitan City resulted to the arrest of one
Guinar Quiros y Padaong, 37 years old, male, married and a resident of Brgy.
Sta. Cruz, Dapitan City by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Presiding
Judge Ric S. Bastasa, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 8, Dipolog City for the
crime of “Qualified Theft” dated December 22, 2016 docketed under Criminal Case
no. 21338 with bail bond recommended amounting to Twenty-Four Thousand Pesos
(Php24,000.00). Subject person now temporarily detained at Dapitan City PS for
proper disposition. For information.

Electrocution Incident
RIZAL
- Be informed that at about 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon of January 4, 2017 an
electrocution incident occurred at Brgy Tolon, Rizal, ZN particularly at Tolon
Bridge wherein one Ariel Escarpe y Tangkay, 22 years old, single, resident of
Brgy Bogabongan, Leon Postigo ZN, a construction worker employed with Rodel
Construction based in Molave, Zamboanga del Sur was accidentally electrocuted. Initial
investigation conducted by responding PNP elements of Rizal MPS disclosed that
prior to the incident, the victim was operating a water pump of the
construction of bridge and he accidentally slipped on the slippery ground and
fell into the river and electrical high voltage outlet was also fell into the
water. Victim was immediately rescued by his co-workers and then brought to
Rizal Rural Health Unit but victim was pronounced Dead on Arrival by Dr.
Leonard Mah, Rural Health Officer and further confirmed No Foul play regarding
the victim’s death. For information.

Attempted Robbery
SIOCON
- Be informed that on or about 2:30 o’clock in the afternoon of December 4,
2017 one Welfredo Omandam y Comighod, 40 years old, married, businessman and a
resident of Brgy. Sta. Maria, Siocon, ZDN together with one Amil Uddin Y
Sariol, 72 years old, married and the Chief Tanod of said Brgy. brought to
Siocon MPS and turned-over one minor identified as Asrey Daiz Y Sain, 17 years
of age, accompanied by his mother Mrs. Napili Daiz, allegedly said minor was
attempting to rob Mr. Welfredo Omandams store. Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that at about 1:30 o’clock in the afternoon of December 4, 2017 while
they were having their siesta on the living room when suddenly they heard a
noise coming from the back portion roof of their house particularly the back of
the store. Mr. Omandam went to where the noise came from and found out that the
corrugated steel roofing was destroyed/removed and a pair of feet was emerging
from the hole, when the suspect jumped Mr. Omandam grappled him and pinned him
down to the floor, and he identified the person was Asrey Daiz Y Sain their
neighbor. Mr. Omandam then brought the minor to their Brgy Chairman Mr. Muarip
Salvador. The minor suspect Asrey Daiz Y
Sain is now in the custody of MSWD Siocon pending filing of charges in court.
