Rape Incident
SINDANGAN - Rape incident occurred in an Apartment
located at Barangay Disud, Sindangan, Zamboang Del Norte at about 9:30 o’clock
in the evening of January 12, 2017. Wherein a 20-year old victim native of Aloran,
Misamis, Occidental was allegedly harmed and rape by Yanhuang Zhang Xie a.k.a.
Jumong, 23, male, single, a Chinese National with passport number G56752530
with resident address Fujien, Xiamen, China and presently rented in an
Apartment located at Barangay Disud, Sindangan, Zamboang del Norte. Initial investigation conducted by WCPD
investigator disclosed that the suspect was a former live – in partner of the
victim, of which she ended their relationship a week ago and prior to the
incident, suspect texted the victim to come over to his apartment to talk for
some important matter. When she got there and was invited to get in, she was slapped several times, choked,
threatened and was forced by the suspect to write and sign a document,
indicating that she stole a money from him and also stated below that she was
given P5,000.00 pesos as payment of their
sexual intercourse. Further investigation revealed that the reason why
she broke up with the suspect, it’s because she could no longer tolerate the
suspect’s behavior, of which he had sexual intercourse with many of his
employee (sales lady of his Cellular phone’s store), especially to the newly
employed one. Accordingly, his modus
operande was, suspect will call and asked his newly employed sales lady to bring
a document to his apartment, and when they got there, he will then sexually abuse
them. In fact, she was also a victim of the said modus. Last June 2016, while the victim and the suspect were still
together, suspect was arrested by responding police officers of Sindangan MPS
because of the incident that he was involved into, of which he attempt to rape
one of his newly employed sales lady at that time. After the investigation
conducted, immediately PNP personnel of Sindangan MPS responded and proceed to
the area of incident but the suspect was no longer in his rented apartment. Sindangan
MPS conducted manhunt operation to locate and arrest the suspect.
Investigator-On-Case is now preparing appropriate charges against the suspect.
Shooting Incident
SERGIO OSMEÑA - Shooting incident transpired at Barangay San
Antonio, Sergio Osmeña Sr., Zamboanga Del Norte. Wherein the victim identified
as Jimmy Canonego y Tecson, 51 years old, married, farmer and a resident of
Purok Centro of said Barangay was shot to death by the unidentified person on
January 12, 2017 at 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon. Initial investigation
conducted disclosed that victim together with his wife Kristina Canonego and
daughter in-law Rebecca Canonego went to their farm at Sitio Luminasa of said
Barangay which is more or less 3 to 4 kilometers away from the Barangay proper
and at around 03:00 o’clock in the afternoon more or less of same date, the
victim asked permission from his wife to go to his coconut farmland which is
more or less 200 meters away from their temporary house locally known as “Kamalig”
purposely to gather coconut wine locally known as “Tuba”. Few minutes later,
the wife Kristina and daughter in-law Rebecca heard two (2) gun burst of fire
from undetermined caliber of firearm near the location where the victim
gathered Tuba Wine, however they did not see the perpetrator/s considering that
the area was a grassy and surrounded with plenty of tress. Immediately, Rebecca
went to the victim’s location wherein she saw her father-in law at the top of
the coconut tree holding his stomach screamingly saying in visayan dialect “agay”.
She hurriedly went back to her mother in-law and informed that her father
in-law was shot at the top of the coconut tree. They hurriedly left the area
and reported the incident to Barangay Capt
Allan Bagundol wherein Brgy Capt Bagundol together with Barangay Tanods and
some residents conducted retrieval operation and brought the cadaver to the
victim’s house. Accordingly, the cadaver will be buried immediately. Motive believed to be a land dispute.
Discreet investigation is now conducted to possibly identify, prosecute and
arrest of the perpetrator/s.
Hacking
Incident
JOSE DALMAN - Hacking incident transpired at Sitio Supot,
Tamarok, Jose Dalman, Zamboanga Del Norte at around 5:00 o’clock of January 12,
2017, wherein one Ruel Unsing Eva, 28 years old, single, a resident of same
place was hacked by Michael Pat Dela Cruz, 28 years old, single, a resident of
same place, with the used of bolo. Initial investigation disclosed that victim
and suspect together with friends have a drinking spree earlier that afternoon.
Later on, Michael suddenly left and when came back; he was already armed with
bolo, which he further hacked the victim for unknown reason hitting on his left
wrist. Hot pursuit operation were conducted by the PNP of Jose Dalman MPS that
resulted to the arrest of the suspect while the victim was brought by the
immediate family to ZaNorte Medical Hospital, Sicayab, Sipolog City for medical
treatment. Suspect is now detained at Jose Dalman MPS while appropriate charges
are now being prepared against the suspect.
Robbery Incident
LEON B. POSTIGO - Robbery incident occurred at the house of Julieta
Carpitanos y Lecias, 46 years old, married, Elementary Teacher and a resident
of Barangay Poblacion, Leon B. Postigo. Investigation disclosed that the
unidentified suspects gain their entrance at the front window by forcibly
destroying the seven (7) blades of jealousy. Once inside, suspects carted away
one wallet with the following contents; PRC License ID, GSIS UMID ID, Phil
health ID, TIN ID, One Network ATM Card, Pag-ibig ATM Card and cash money
amounting Three Thousand pesos (P3, 000.00).. Said incident were discovered by
the couple, Rey and Julieta Carpitanos at around 2:00 o’clock the morning of January
13 201 after they woke up. The incident happened between 1:00 to 1:30 o’clock
in the morning while the couple was in deep sleep. Investigator on case is now
conducted follow up investigation for possible identification and arrest of the
suspect(s).

Arrest of Wanted
Persons
PIÑAN - Operatives of Pinan MPS conducted manhunt operation
in Poblacion South Pinan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 2:15 in the afternoon of
January 13, 2017. This resulted to the arrest of (3) wanted persons namely: a.
Roland Fuertes y Sabijon 55 years old, Married, Administrative Aide I of
Dapitan City School Division Office, DepEd;b. Elmer Delosantos y Libre, 27 years old , Single, Security Guard of Hamos
Farm situated at Pob South; and c. Leonila Delos Santos Y Recana 31 years old, farmer, all residents of
abovementioned place. Subject persons were arrested for the crime of Grave
Threats dated January 11, 2017 issued by Acting Judge Deborah P. Garcia-Nazario
of 2nd MCTC Pinan- La Libertad, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 001, Piñan, docketed
under Criminal Case Nr P-3172 with bail bond recommended amounting to Six
Thousand Pesos (P6,000.00) each.4. Further be informed that at about 4:50 PM
of same date, three (3) arrested
persons were released from police
custody by virtue of Released Order of
abovementioned judge dated January 13, 2017 after posting a sufficient cash
bond.
