Drowning Incident
SINDANGAN - A cadaver was found in the sea shore of
Barangay Disud, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:30 AM of January 14,
2017. .Initial investigation conducted disclosed that at about 9:00 o’clock in
the evening of January 13, 2017, Marilou Fishing Boat was about to dock, more
or less 20 meters away from the sea shore of said Barangay when the victim,
identified as one Roberto Taluksoy, 20, male, single, a resident of Barangay Dumpilas,
Siayan, and temporary a crew member of said vessel, believed to be under the
influence of intoxicating liquor, was seen walking on the scaffolding of the
said vessel, and was slipped that further caused him to fall down to the water.
Other crew members of the said vessel try to retrieve and rescue the victim but
unfortunately failed. The cadaver was turned-over to the owner of the vessel for
proper disposition.
Drowning Incident
DIPOLOG CITY - A lifeless body of a male person was
discovered at the river of Sto. Niño Village, Barangay Minaog, Dipolog City at
about 6:15 A.M. of January 14, 2017. The victim was identified later as Garry
Molina y Trabajo 27 years old, single, native of Aklan, Nasipit, Agusan del
Norte and presently residing at the abovementioned place and a fisherman
(Busero) by occupation. Accordingly, prior to the incident, at around 8:00 P.M.
of January 13, 2017, the victim together with his friends namely; Rolly Omilap,
Bernie Olar And Alias Aper Castro were having drinking session at Romeo Nacario
Videoke Bar located at the same place and afterwards at around 10:00 P.M., the
victim was already drunk together with Rolly Omilap went inside the benefit
dance party held at the basketball court of the place wherein at around 12:00
midnight Rolly Omilap noticed that the victim was missing and he tried to find
until 3:00 of dawn but failed. Post Mortem examination conducted by Dr. Rowel
J. Mata M.D., disclosed that the cause of death is due to Asphyxia secondary to
drowning. The remains now lie at Villarin Funeral Homes, Dipolog City for
proper disposition.
