Flood Incident
POLANCO – On February 26, 2018 at
about 12:20 AM, PNP of Polanco MPS together with the MDRRMC of Polanco, Bureau
of Fire Protection with Augmented force of Zamboanga Del Norte Provincial
Mobile Force Company conducted search and rescue operation at Barangays of
Polanco affected with flashed flood namely: Barangay Sianib, Guinles, Labrador
and Poblacion North. The initial report of families affected with flashed flood
incident: Barangay Sianib-twenty-five (25) families affected, Guinles- thirty
families (30) affected, Labrador-thirty-two (32) families affected and
Poblacion North-forty (40) families affected. No reported damage of houses as
of this report. As of this time overflowing waters still monitored.
