Arrest
of Wanted Person
PIÑAN - Combined operatives of Piñan MPS, Zamboanga
Del Norte PPO and Regional Intelligence Unit 9 conducted police operation at
Barangay Desin, Piñan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:50 PM of February 8, 2018. This resulted
to the arrest of Benerando Lumanao Eca, 35 years old, single, a resident of
said place, Top 7 Most Wanted Person (MWP), Municipal Level. This is by virtue
of warrant of arrest for the crime of multiple attempted homicide and double
attempted homicide docketed under cc#
22189 and 22190 duly issued on January 26, 2018 with bail bond recommended l in the amount of php12,000 for each signed by Presiding Judge Victoriano
D. Lacaya Jr. Of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 9, Dipolog City. The arrested
subject person is presently detained at Piñan MPS for proper disposition.
Vehicular
Traffic Accident
SINDANGAN - Vehicular traffic accident transpired
along the National Highway Of Barangay Doña Josefa, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del
Norte at about 3:20 AM of February 8, 2018 wherein Honda XRM 125 mc, color
black , no plate attach and driven by
Lodivine Delos Reyes Macatual, 21 years old, male, single and a resident of
Barangay Nipaan, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte, and Honda XRM 110 mc, color
black, bearing plate number JP 9595 and driven by Joseph Moratalla Elacan, 19
years old, male, single with back rider Gino Mag-Abo Opaon, 22 years old, male,
single both of Barangay Doña Josefa, Sindangan. Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that while the Honda XRM 125 mc travelling from Barangay Doña Josefa
heading towards Barangay Nipaan, Sindangan and believed to be under of
influence of liquor and when upon reaching at the place of accident
accidentally bumped the said Honda XRM 110 mc and both driver and back rider
also believed to be under of influence of liquor. All driver and back rider
were immediately brought to Sindangan District Hospital but the driver of Honda
XRM 125 mc (Lodivine Macatual) was declared dead on arrival (DOA) by the
attending physician Dr. Nida Ramos while the driver of Honda XRM 110 Joseph
Elacan and his back rider Gino Opaon were referred to Zamboanga Del Norte
Medical Center, Dipolog City. Both motorcycles were temporary deposited at Sindangan
MPS for proper disposition.
