Neutralization of Wanted Person
SIRAWAI
- Joint personnel of Sirawai MPS and 42nd Infantry Battalion, Phil Army conducted
foot patrol operation at Brgy Dona Cecelia, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 2:30 PM of August 27,
2017. This resulted to a brief encounter with two (2) armed lawless elements
wherein as a result, one Abdulsalam Wahab A.K.A “Boyong", a resident of Brgy
Panabotan, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte was killed in action due to multiple
gunshot wounds. Said person has a standing warrant of arrest charged for
attempted murder, under cc no. 2015-07-10 (1239) issued by Judge Laarni Dajao
of RTC Branch 27, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte dated august 10, 2015. recovered
from his possession were; one (1) unit
cal. 45 norinco pistol with sn 912153 and one (1) unit hand grenade which is
now temporary under custody of Phil army. While his unidentified companion was
able to escaped. Cadaver of the suspect was turned over to his family. Investigator

Man Held for Act of
Lasciviousness
MANUKAN
– a fish vendor was arrested by Manukan MPS after he allegedly touched and gropes
the private parts of a 26 –year old, housekeeper at her resident in Sitio
Pitogo, Brgy. Gupot, Manukan. The suspect was Lloyd Bulanao Culanculan, 26
years old, male, fish vendor and a resident of same place. initial
investigation conducted disclosed at about 8:30 PM of August 26, 2017, the
victim was at her house selling a native tuba wine when the suspect arrived and
bought a glass of wine and after drinking, the suspect went inside the house of
the victim then held the victim and began touching her and groping her private
parts. The victim shout for help then her neighbor arrived and saved the
victim. Suspect was arrested by the responding PNP personnel of Manukan MPS. The
arrested subject person is presently detained at Manukan MPS for filing of
appropriate charges in court.
Rape Incident
KATIPUNAN
– Rape incident occurred
at
Barangay Sitog, Katipunan
at
around 9:00 AM of August 26, 2017. The suspect was identified as Elpidio Benlot
Lumawas, 60 years, married, farmer a resident of said place. .The victim was identified
as a 13 -years old, Grade 4 Pupil also resident of said place. Initial
investigation disclosed that at around 9:00 AM of August 26, 2017 the victim
went to the house of the suspect to ask for some banana for cooking. However,
the suspect pulled the victim inside and raped her. Incidentally, the mother of
the victim followed her daughter, as she went inside the house she saw the
suspect on top of her daughter lying in the mat naked. Immediately, the mother
seeks assistance from the Brgy Officials thereat that resulted in the arrest of
the suspect. The arrested subject person is presently detained at said police
station for proper disposition.
