Human Cadaver Found
KATIPUNAN - Human cadaver
was discovered floating at the River Bank of Purok 6, Barangay San Antonio,
Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:30 AM of August 6, 2017. The victim
was identified as Arnelio Soreno Andales, 36 years old, married, jobless a
resident of Barangay Sanao, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte. Initial investigation
disclosed that at around 4:00 PM of August 5, 2017 the victim together with his
brother Rigo Soreno Andales and other relatives were crossing along the river
of the above-mentioned place, the later was taken by the strong current. His
companion exerted effort to rescue him but failed. Post mortem revealed that
the cause of his death is due to asphyxia secondary to drowning. The cadaver
was turn-over to his immediate family for proper disposition. Investigator-on-case

Scandal
MANUKAN
- Be informed that on or about 12:25 o’clock in the morning of August 5, 2017,
Alert Team and SWAT personnel led by SPO3 Jerry J Buhisan brought and
turned-over to Dipolog CPS the three (3) male persons namely; Cpl ROGEN BAGUIO y TORRES, 30 years old, single and a
resident of Brgy Linay, Manukan,
Zamboanga Del Norte, a member of the Philippine Army, assigned in Marawi City,
JANN RICH MARTINEZ y GUISADO, 28 years old, single,
and JOHN CARLO MARTINEZ y GUISADO, 20 years old, single
both residents of Mibang, Sta. Felomina, Dipolog City. Initial
investigation conducted by the responding PNP personnel disclosed that on or
about 12:10 o’clock in the morning of August 5, 2017, the three (3) above-named
persons who were under the influence of intoxicating liquor, were eating at
Nanay’s Best Tapsilogan, located at Estaka, Dipolog City, suddenly and
without any apparent reason, JANN RICH
MARTINEZ y GUISADO quickly grabbed the
Cal. 9mm pistol, personal firearm of ROGEN BAGUIO y TORRES, which was
tucked on the latter’s waistline then cocked and tooted it to one of the waiter thereat that prompted
the victim to run away and hide himself inside their kitchen. JANN RICH
MARTINEZ y Guisadio, holding the same handgun then went outside the
establishment, walking back and forth, who seemed looking for trouble pointed
the gun to the people around. His companions Rogen Baguio y Torres and John
Carlo Martinez warned him to stop and informed him it was loaded but the latter
never listened and instead he fired it once on the air that created alarm and
scandal to the public. Furthermore when the responding SWAT personnel arrived
at the crime scene at about 12:15 o’clock in the morning of same date, they
actually saw Jann Rich Martinez cocked again said handgun and tooted it to PO2
Sandee Mañada, without saying any words. The SWAT personnel ordered them to
drop to the cemented road and surrender peacefully but Jann Rich Martinez who
was still holding the aforesaid handgun and Rogen Baguio vehemently resisted,
that prompted the SWAT personnel to apply arrest technique and reasonable force
to subdue the suspects. Recovered from the crime scene one (1) pc fired
cartridge case. Confiscated from the possession and control of JANN RICH
MARTINEZ y Guisadio One (1) unit 9mm STI pistol with serial no. I039187 allegedly owned by ROGEN BAGUIO y
TORRES with magazine inserted loaded with 16 pcs. live ammunition. Suspects
temporarily detained in Dipolog City Police Station detention cell pending

Belated Report on the
Arrest of Suspect on Thievery Incident
BALIGUIAN
- Be informed that at around 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon of August 4, 2017,
one Martin S Chiong, 38 years old, married a resident of brgy Lumay, Baliguian,
ZN reported to Baliguian MPS that his coconut plantation situated at Purok 1,
brgy Lumay, Baliguian, ZN was harvested by MARTIN TONGGAN ATOG, 67 years old,
widow and DIONISIO JALAVE ATOG, 42 years old, single, both farmers and a
residents of brgy Lumay, Baliguian, ZN. At about 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon
of same date, responding personnel of Baliguian MPS led by PI CLARK G
BACOLOD-OIC, caught in the act the two suspects who were gathering coconut
fruits. Confiscated from their possession were eight (8) sacks of coco meat.
The duo and the confiscated items were now in the custody of Baliguian MPS for

RIZAL - On August 6,
2017 at about 2:40 PM, Rizal MPS responded on a report of illegal motorcycle
drag racing activity at the National Highway Of Barangay La Esperanza, Rizal,
Zamboanga Del Norte. the team were able to confiscate seven (7) motorcycles
describes as follows; honda xrm 125, with no plate number attached, color red
and black, no cr/or presented with improvised loud muffler driven by joco
galanido, motorstar motorcycle bearing plate number 9845, no cr/or presented,
with improvised loud muffler driven by george tamaparong, honda xrm, with no
plate number attached, no cr/or presented with improvised loud muffler driven
by jannel lloyd bajamunde, undetermined motorcycle with engine number
rw154rmi8ag00179, with no plate number attached, no cr/or presented with
improvised loud muffler driven by klinth tumanda, xrm color red, bearing plate
number srs 920, no cr/or presented with improvised loud muffler driven by hary
dale tingas, undetermined motorcycle with engine number krm10015023961e, color
red and white, with no plate number attached, no cr/or presented with
improvised loud muffler driven by junbert arboiz and honda wave 125 with temporary plate
number 148cc, color white and gray, no cr/or presented with improvised loud
muffler registered under the name of Milagros
Auria Of Sulinog Calamba, Misamis Occidental. The confiscated motorcycles were temporarily
impounded at Rizal MPS for violation of ra 4136 particularly on the prohibition
of nuisance/loud improvised muffler.
Arrest of Wanted Persons
LABASON
- Be informed that on or about 7:00 o’clock in the morning of August 4, 2017,
PO3 Leifrey B Tenefrancia-Warrant Server together with PO2 Adonis Abril Ybarley,
Intel operative conducted Intel Driven operation against another wanted person
at Brgy. La Union, Labason, ZN. As a result, the team successfully arrested the
couple REY JOSUE, 52 years old, and ANNA LISA JOSUE, 51 years old both
residents of said place. Subject persons were arrested at their residence at
Brgy. La Union, Labason, ZN by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Presiding
Judge Reymar L Lacaya of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 11, Sindangan,
Zamboanga del Norte for the crime of “ESTAFA” (11 counts) docketed under
Criminal Case Nos. 12820, S-5594, S-5595, S-5596, S-5597, S-5598, S-5599,
S-5600, S-5601, S-5602 and S-5603 with a total bail bond of One Hundred Sixty-Eight
Thousand Pesos (₱168,000.00) for their temporary liberty. At about 10:00 o’clock
in the morning of the same date, the two arrested wanted persons able to post
bail bond were release as per release order issued by the above-mentioned

SINDANGAN
- Be informed that at about 12:45 o’clock in the morning of August 5, 2017,
MDET of Sindangan MPS led by PSUPT ROLANDO BARRAQUIO-OIC conducted buybust
operation at Brgy Poblacion, Sindangan ZDN and successfully arrested one JERIC
GIMANG y ORACOY, 18 years old, male, single, resident of said place and a newly
identified drug personality HVT (Level 2) under the Drug Group Leader Ricardo
“Dondon” Sidlao of the drug link diagram. Confiscated from his possession and
control in the presence of DOJ Representative- Victory Joyce C. Tagalog and
Brgy. Councilor Armando A. Taguranao of said Brgy were the following, to wit:
a. Three (3) pieces heat sealed plastic sachets containing white crystalline
granules believed to be “shabu”, b. One (1) piece Five hundred-peso (Php500.00)
bill with serial number D331889 as marked money c. One (1) piece heat-sealed
plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be “shabu” as
(buy bust evidence). Arrested suspect and seized items were brought to

Campaign Against Illegal Gambling
DAPITAN
CITY - Be informed that on August 5, 2017 at about 5:45 o’clock in the
afternoon, Intel personnel of Dapitan CPS led by SPO4 Jose Renault A. Tan-Intel
PNCO conducted operation against illegal gambling locally known as “CHIKICHA”
particularly at Fish Port, Brgy Bagting, Dapitan City that resulted to the
arrest of three (3) suspects namely: Virginia Pakcial y
Abad, 44 years old, female, married; Fe Hortilano y Manatad, 54 years old,
female, married, both residents of Brgy Bagting Dapitan City and Teddy Balingit
y Larede Jr., 47 years old, male, single and a resident of Purok Lucas, Brgy Sto.
Niño, Dapitan City. During the operation, the team confiscated Five (5)
sets of playing cards, bet money amounting to Seven Hundred Forty-three pesos
(P743.00) in different denominations, one-piece cloth (Malong) use as table
cover, one (1) Table and three (3) green plastic chairs. Arrested suspects and
confiscated items were brought to Dapitan CPS while appropriate charges now

DAPITAN
CITY - Be informed that on August 5, 2017 at about 9:30 o’clock in the evening,
City Drug Enforcement Team of Dapitan CPS led by SPO4 Jose Renault Tan together
with the personnel from ZNPDEA and 904th Maritime Police Station, conducted
joint drug buy-bust operation at Brgy Carang, Dapitan City that resulted to the
arrest of one DARREL CADUNGOG y LADISTA, 26 years old, male, single, and a
resident of the above-mentioned place. Confiscated from the possession and
control of the suspect were one (1) pc big heat-sealed rectangular transparent
plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu
(possession); one (1) pc small heat-sealed rectangular transparent plastic
sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu bought during
buy-bust operation; one (1) pc Five Hundred Peso bill used as buy-bust money
with SN AN764951; and one (1) pc leather wallet containing assorted documents.
