Shooting Incident
SIOCON - Shooting incident transpired at Sitio Darusalam, Barangay Suhaili Arabi,
Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 1:50 PM of May 14, 2017, wherein the
victim identified as Aldam Malawa Arabi aka Banguih, 40 years old, married, a
resident of the above-mentioned place was shot by a certain Babab Salman, 37
years old, a resident of Barangay Bucana, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte. Initial investigation
disclosed that at about 1:45 PM May 14, 2017, the victim was at the
construction site together with a certain Albert from Zamboanga City; the
suspect arrived and with no provocation, shot the victim hitting on his right
leg. The victim was brought to Siocon District Hospital for treatment and later
transferred to Zamboanga City Hospital for further medical treatment while the
suspect fled after the incident. Motive of the incident is still to be determined.
Elements of Siocon MPS are still conducting follow-up operation for the
immediate arrest of the suspects. Investigator-on-case is Po2 Siegfried M Dela

Attempted Rape
LILOY - An attempted rape transpired at Purok San Jose, Barangay Baybay, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:30 AM
of May 14, 2017. The suspect was identified as John Nicolas Cesareus Escuadro,
24 years old, single a resident of Barangay New Bethlehem, Liloy, Zamboanga Del
Norte while the victim identified as Melonnie Rameriz Mayola, 18 years old,
single a resident of Purok San Jose, Barangay Baybay, Liloy, Zamboanga Del
Norte. Initial investigation disclosed that the suspect visited the house of a
certain Elson Jamisola at the above-mentioned place wherein the victim is
staying as a working student. While inside the suspect forcibly brought the
victim at the kitchen and forcibly removed her short, underwear and bra. Not
contented the suspect boxed the victim hitting on her abdomen. The victim
resisted until she manages to escaped and run towards the house of Mr. Delmer
Dingal for help. furthermore, a body search was conducted that led in the
recovery of one (1) small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing
suspected shabu inside his pocket. The suspect is temporarily detained at Liloy
MPS for proper disposition.

SIOCON - The Drug Enforcement Team of Siocon MPS conducted
drug buy-bust operation at Barangay J.P Brillantes, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte
at about 5:15 PM of May 14, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Madzcor Edai
Musaddin Aka Totoh, 40 years old, married, a resident of the above-mentioned
place. Confiscated from his possession and control were: one (1) small heat
sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu as buy-bust item,
five (5) small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu for
possession, two ( q 2) pieces of
one hundred (₱100.00) peso bill bearing serial numbers bh417433 and ah745065 as
marked money, nine hundred (₱900.00) pesos in different denomination as
proceeds, one (1) unit cellular phone qnet andone (1) unit motorcycle Honda
wave 125 colored red with no attached plate number. The inventory and marking
of the seized items was done in the presence of Hon. Anie-Rose Cardenas
Barangay Chairwoman, And Joemeleth F.Tabo-Tabo Media Representative. Subject
person and the confiscated items were brought to siocon mps for proper
disposition.
Arrest of Wanted Person
SINDANGAN - Operatives
of Polanco MPS and Sindangan MPS conducted manhunt operation at Sitio Lumbia,
Barangay Bago, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 3:00 AM of May 14, 2017.
This led to the arrest of Leoly Balang Laranjo, 36 years old, singles a
resident of Barangay Obay, Polanco, Zamboanga Del Norte and listed under Top 8
most wanted person municipal level. subject person was arrested by virtue of
warrant of arrest for the crime of murder issued by Hon. Ric S. Bastasa,
Presiding Judge Of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 8 Of Dipolog City Dated
November 10, 2015 docketed under criminal case number 19631 with no bail-bond
recommended. The arrested person is temporarily detained at Polanco MPS for proper
disposition.

MANUKAN - Operatives
of Manukan MPS conducted drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Upper Disakan,
Manukan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 12:40 PM of May 14, 2017. This resulted
in the arrest of William Roasol, of legal age, single a resident of the
above-mentioned place. confiscated from his possession and control were: one
(1) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu as buy-bust
item, two (2) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu for
possession and two (2) pieces of one hundred (₱100.00) peso bill as marked
money. Subject person is temporarily detained at Manukan MPS for proper
disposition.

DAPITAN CITY - Drug
Enforcement Unit of Dapitan City Police Station conducted drug buy-bust
operation at Barangay Ma. Cristina, Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about
10:15 PM of May 13, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Fever Ian Paras Cagandahan,
26 years old, single, a Drug Surrenderer and Danilo Calasang Cagandahan, 37
years old, married both residents of the above-mentioned place. Confiscated
from their possession and control were two (2) heat-sealed transparent plastic
sachets containing suspected shabu, one (1) five hundred (₱500.00) peso bearing
serial number m235621 as marked money and three hundred (₱300.00) pesos cash as
proceeds. upon verification, the arrested suspect Fever Ian Cagandahan has two (2) standing warrant of
arrests for the crime of robbery docketed under criminal case numbers 18502 and
18640 issued by Hon. Cherry Joy C. Concha-Ageas Presiding Judge Of Branch 10,
Dipolog City Dated December 16, 2013. The inventory of confiscated items was
witnessed by Hon. Hermoso Sagapsapan, Barangay Councilor Ma. Cristina, Dapitan
City and Ms. Erna D. Baradillo, Media Representative. The arrested persons were
temporarily detained at said police station.
