Hacking Incident
SIBUCO - Hacking incident transpired at So
Tigbuaya, Barangay Poblacion, Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:00 AM of
May 2, 2017. The victim was identified as Rogelio Pacatang Saplot, 70 years
old, married, farmer and a resident of said place. He sustained five (5) hacked
wounds on the different parts of his body that resulted to his instantaneous
death. Suspect identified as a certain Ruben Tumatal aka “tata” who then fled
after the incident. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the duo had
a heated argument at the residence of the victim. Motive of the incident is yet
to be determined.
Drowning Incident
JOSE DALMAN - Drowning incident transpired at Barangay
Poblacion, Jose Dalman, Zaboanga Del Norte at about 11:00 AM of May 3, 2017.
Wherein one Gil Tungoan Nomo, 10 years old and a resident of above-mentioned
place together with other children were swimming at the deep portion of the
river of said place when suddenly the victim Richie Lomo Malupangue, 26 years
old, mentally ill and also of same place joined them in swimming. Gil Nomo tried
to stop him however the victim ignored and jumped into the river and minutes
later did not surfaced that prompted him to ask for help from the family of the
victim. Searched and rescue operation was undertaken and successfully recovered
the lifeless body of said victim. Further according to Dr. Erfe the victim died
due to cardiopulmonary arrest secondary to drowning. He was then turned over to
his family.

Arrest of Wanted Person
JOSE DALMAN - Operatives of Jose Dalman MPS
arrested at about 7:00 AM of May 3, 2017 the person of Publeo Vilbar Sarte aka
“pabling”, 81 years old, married and a resident of Barangay Manawan, Jose
Dalman, Zamboanga Del Norte charged for the crime of qualified theft docketed
under criminal case no. s-4922 with recommended bail of Php24, 000.00 issued by
Judge Reymar L. Lacaya Of Rtc Branch 11, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte Dated
May 27, 2014. He was arrested at his residence and now detained at Jose Dalman
MPS.
