9165 in Siocon
On May 7, 2018 at about 6:15PM, operatives of Siocon
MPS in coordination with PDEA conducted illegal drug buy-bust operation at
Sitio logpond, Brgy Poblacion, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte that resulted in the
arrest of Edmond Boholts Mendiola, 30 y/o male, married, resident of said place
and a newly identified drug personalities categorized as pusher.
Confiscated/recovered from his possession and
control were;
--One (1) piece cut heat sealed soft drinks
straw containing white crystalline granules believed to be “SHABU”
-One (1) brown wallet inside of it are Comelec
ID, MNLF ID/LTO ID indicating the name of Edmond Mendiola.
-One (1) piece Five hundred (500) peso bill with
SN FB760030 (Buy-bust money);
-Php 1,200.00 cash in different denominations;
-Three (3) pcs. Disposable lighter (green, blue,
orange);
-One (1) pc disposable lighter inserted with
needle;
-Three (3) pcs cellular phone; One (1) pc cut rolled aluminum tin foil; -and
One (1) pc green cut soft drinks straw served as improvised “scoop”.
Inventory and markings of seized items were
conducted in the presence of arresting officer, Brgy. Councilor Ramon G.
Villetra, Kagawad Luciano M. Araneta, and Media representative Jeomeleth F.
Tabotabo of DXJL Local News FM.
Arrested suspect and the seized items were
brought to Siocon MPS for proper disposition.
Dead Body Found
in Osmeña
On May 7, 2018 at about 7:00 AM, S. Osmena MPS
received a report that was a killing incident at Purok 4, Brgy. Marapong, S.
Osmeña, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that
the victim was identified as Adelina Lumontod Balacy, 65, female, widow, and a
resident of said place.
She was found at about 6:00 AM of same date
lying lifeless outside her house and without lower garments. In the initial findings,
that the victim was believed to be hit by a hard object on her forehead and
choked considering that there were contusions both on her forehead and her neck
that believed to be the cause of her untimely death.
Said victim was dragged by the suspect with an
estimated distance of 35 meters away from her house and was thrown to the slope
portion.
Further, the victim was living alone in her
house and was entered by the suspect identified as Abraham Lumontod Bonbon, 33
y/o, male, single, farmer and also resident of same place.
Accordingly, the suspect was under the
influenced of intoxicating liquor and raped the victim.
The suspect arrested by the responding team and
now detained at S. Osmena MPS for proper disposition. Investigator is PO3

Drug Suspect
Arrested in Siocon
On May 7, 2018 at about 6:15 PM, operatives of Siocon
MPS conducted drug buy bust operation at the vicinity of ESPA pension house,
Brgy Poblacion, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte.
This led to the arrest of Sonnyboy Kanlas
Lozano, 30, and a resident of Brgy. Poblacion, Siocon, newly identified drug
personalities (user).
Subject was the cohort of the previously
arrested suspect Edmond Mendiola. Confiscated from his possession and control
were;
One (1) piece small heat sealed transparent
plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be “Shabu”
One (1) Unit cellular phone Black with markings
“Illy” with sim and battery inserted.
One (1) disposable lighter with markings LCC
quality,
One (1) empty black wallet with markings Taurus
PT.945,
One (1) piece green disposable lighter.
Arrested suspect and the seized items were
brought to Siocon MPS for proper disposition.
Man Held for
Indiscriminate Firing in Roxas
On May 7, 2018 at about 10:30 PM, Roxas MPS
received a report that there was a gun burst of unknown caliber of firearms
transpired at Josie Mag-usara Español residence situated at Lower Irasan,
Roxas, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Immediately, personnel of Roxas MPS upon arrival
at the scene, the team confiscated
-one (1) unit ARMSCOR caliber .45 bearing SN 1438032, loaded with --one
(1) live ammo inside the chamber and a magazine loaded with ----three (3) live
ammos and
-one (1) extra magazine loaded with
-Eight (8) live ammos and extra
-Eight (8) live ammos and holster, without pertinent documents to possess
and carry the said firearm by the suspect.
police identified the suspect as Ricardo Pornea
Culis, male, married, 63, retired Phil Army and a resident of Purok 1,
Langatian, Roxas, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Investigation conducted disclosed that the
suspect apparently under the influence of liquor and without sufficient reason
strafed the house of spouses Josie Mag-usara Español and Myrna L Español
hitting the wooden wall.
Recovered from the crime scene are four (4)
pieces of fired cartridges of caliber.45. The suspect was arrested and now detained at
Roxas MPS for proper disposition.
