VEHICULAR ACCIDENT:

ON OR ABOUT 11:50 O’CLOCK IN THE MORNING OF SEPTEMBER 29, 2017, A VEHICULAR ACCIDENT TRANSPIRED ALONG MCLL HIGHWAY, SITIO TUKTUKALAW, BARANGAY QUINIPUT ZAMBOANGA CITY, WHEREIN, A TOYOTA HI-ACE WITH TEMPORARY PLATE NUMBER DRIVEN BY PERDY ROSE LIMEN Y ANGELES, 29 YEARS OLD, SINGLE AND A RESIDENT BRGY CANELAR WAS ACCIDENTALLY BUMPED BY KIA SPORTAGE WITH PLATE NUMBER KJE 115 AND DRIVEN BY EXPEDITO GUEVARRA Y BUCOY, RETIRED MEMBER OF PHILIPPINE ARMY AND A RESIDENT OF PUROK BAYANIHAN, BRGY STA. CRUZ, KORONADAL CITY, SOUTH COTABATO. THE ACCIDENT RESULTED TO THE DAMAGES ON THE FRONT SIDE OF THE TOYOTA HI-ACE AND PHYSICAL INJURIES ON CHERRY MAE LIMEN, A RESIDENT OF BRGY CURUAN, PASSENGER OF TOYOTA HI- ACE AND DANILO FLORITA Y GUEVARRA, A RESIDENT OF BRGY UPPER CALARIAN ALSO THIS CITY, PASSENGER OF KIA SPORTAGE.  THEY SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES AND WERE RUSHED TO CRISTINO PARAGAS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT. INITIAL INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT BOTH VEHICLES WERE TRAVELLING ON OPPOSITE DIRECTION, WHEREIN, THE TOYOTA HI-ACE WAS BOUND FOR ZAMBOANGA CITY PROPER, WHILE THE KIA SPORTAGE WAS BOUND FOR ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE.  HOWEVER, UPON REACHING THE PLACE OF ACCIDENT, WHILE NEGOTIATING A CURVED PORTION OF THE HIGHWAY AND DUE TO SLIPPERY ROAD CAUSED BY INCESSANT RAIN, THE DRIVER OF KIA SPORTAGE LOSE CONTROL OF THE STEERING WHEEL AND SWERVED TO THE LEFT PORTION OF THE HIGHWAY, JUST AS THE TOYOTA HI-ACE WAS PASSING, THUS, RESULTING TO THE SAID COLLISION. THE KIA SPORTAGE IS PRESENTLY IMPOUNDED AT ZAMBOANGA CITY PS2 FOR PROPER DISPOSITION, WHILE THE TOYOTA HI-ACE WAS TEMPORARY IMPOUNDED AT THE CHECK POINT AT SITIO TUKTUKALAW DUE TO DAMAGED FRONT BUMPER WHICH MADE IT DIFFICULT TO TOW.

ON OR ABOUT 7:30 AM OF SEPTEMBER 29, 2017, MDEU OF GUTALAC MPS, ZNPPO CONDUCTED BUY-BUST OPERATION AT BARANGAY POBLACION, GUTALAC, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE THAT RESULTED IN THE ARREST OF ERNESTO GONGOB PROSPEROSO A.K.A. “ERNING”, 47 YEARS OLD, SINGLE AND A RESIDENT OF AFOREMENTIONED PLACE. CONFISCATED FROM HIS POSSESSION WERE THREE (3) HEAT SEALED TRANSPARENT SACHETS OF SHABU, ONE (1) ₱500.00 BILL MARKED MONEY WITH SERIAL NUMBER CL754615 AND OTHER DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. SAID SUBJECT IS DETAINED AT GUTALAC MPS LOCK-CELL FOR PROPER DISPOSITION.

ON OR ABOUT 7:30 PM OF SEPTEMBER 29, 2017, JOINT ELEMENTS OF RIZAL MPS, ZNPPO, PIB-ZNPPO, ZNPPSC, AND RPSB CONDUCTED BUY-BUST OPERATION AT NEW DAPITAN, RIZAL, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE AGAINST BENJIE GUILLENA DUHAYLUNGSOD, 40 YEARS OLD, FILIPINO, MALE, MARRIED AND A RESIDENT OF BRGY. TOLON, RIZAL, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE. DURING SAID OPERATION, THE SUBJECT NOTICED THAT HE WAS TRANSACTING WITH A POLICE OFFICER, IN THE PERSON OF PO2 ROMMEL JOHN SABAS WHO ACTED AS POSEUR BUYER. BUT DURING THE COURSE OF THE ARREST, THE SUSPECT RESISTED AND WAS ABLE TO EVADE THE ARREST THEN RUN GOING TO HIS MOTORCAB VEHICLE. SUBJECT THEN IMMEDIATELY PULLED AN UNDETERMINED CALIBER OF FIREARM FROM HIS WAIST AND FIRED TOWARDS THE POLICE OFFICER BUT LUCKILY, THE POLICE OFFICER WAS ABLE TO EVADE AND WAS UNHARMED THAT PROMPTED THE SECURITY TEAM (WITH THE ZNPPSC AND PIB PERSONNEL) TO RETALIATE AND FIRED BACK TOWARDS THE SUBJECT (BENJIE DUHAYLUNGSOD) WHICH RESULTED THE LATTER SUSTAINED A GUNSHOT WOUNDS ON HIS BODY. SUSPECT WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD BY THE DR. MAH, ATTENDING PHYSICIAN OF RIZAL MUNICIPAL HEALTH CENTER, RIZAL, IMMEDIATELY, AFTER SAID OPERATION, ELEMENTS OF RIZAL MPS CONTACTED THE ZNPPO TACTICAL OPERATION CENTER TO REQUESTS ZN-PNP CRIME LABORATORY OFFICE (ZNPCLO) PERSONNEL TO CONDUCT SCENE OF THE CRIME OPERATION (SOCO) AT THE CRIME SCENE, AS WELL AS, FINGERPRINTS TAKING AND PARAFFIN TEST OF THE CADAVER. CONFISCATED FROM THE CRIME SCENE WERE THE FOLLOWING: ONE (1)  UNIT CALIBER 38 REVOLVER LOADED WITH AMMUNITIONS, ONE (1) PIECE BOLO WITH CASE MEASURING 22 INCHES LONG, ONE (1) PIECE BROWN SIDEPACK, OTHER ASSORTED PERSONAL BELONGINGS, ONE (1) UNIT TC MAKE JIANGMEN HAOJUE MOTORCAB WITH TEMPORARY PLATE NUMBER 43387 OWNED BY BENJIE G. DUHAYLUNGSOD WHILE FOLLOWING WERE RECOVERED FROM THE SUBJECT; ONE (1) PIECE HEAT SEALED TRANSPARENT PLASTIC SACHET OF SHABU, ONE (1) PIECE FIVE HUNDRED PAPER BILL WITH SERIAL NUMBER D269301 (BUY-BUST EVIDENCE), TWO (2) PCS ONE HUNDRED PESO (₱500.00) BILL WITH SERIAL NUMBER TL996297 AND BT022603, THREE (3) PIECES TWENTY PESO BILL WITH SERIAL NUMBER EG 682517; DZ367999 AND AV992938, ELEVEN (11) PIECES FIVE PESO COINS, TWENTY-EIGHT (28) PIECES ONE PESO COIN, FIVE (5)  PIECES TWENTY-FIVE CENTAVO COINS, SEVEN (7) PIECES ID’S WITH DRIVER’S LICENSE OWNED BY BENJIE G. REPORTED INCIDENTS September 29, 2017

Shooting Incident

Shooting incident transpired at Brgy Paraiso, Kalawit, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:15 AM of September 28, 2017, wherein victim identified as Allan Sukol Lintua, 63 years old, separated, farmer and a resident of Sitio Jaiy, Brgy Balas, Labason. Initial investigation disclosed that victim was having a drinking spree at the videoke house owned by Eusebio Elumba situated at the aforementioned place when suddenly unidentified person shot the victim once hitting on his nape and bullet exited to his right temple that caused his instantaneous death as per findings by the attending physician Dr. Earl Ryan Espra of Kalawit RHU. Recovered from the crime scene was one fired cartridge of carbine caliber. Suspect fled to unknown direction. Cadaver of the victim was turned over to his son Haber Jemlana Lintua and will be brought to Mucas, Salug, for funeral. Kalawit MPS conducted follow up investigation to determine the motive and possible arrest of the suspect.

Vehicle Traffic Accident

Vehicle traffic accident transpired along the national highway of Purok Manga, Dilawa, Pinan, Zamboanga Del Norte at around 11:40 am of september 27, 2017 wherein an Isuzu 10 wheelers dump truck color red/black/white combination, loaded with sand and gravel and driven by Michael Steve Dagatan Sarsalijo, 25 years old, married, of Bintana, Tangub City, Mis Occ, and Honda wave 110 motorcycle and driven by Paulino Refesada Descallar, 50 years old, married, a resident of Sta Fe, Piñan with back rider identified as  Nuralji P. Alias, 43 years old, married and a resident of Dilawa, Pinan. Initial investigation disclosed that while Isuzu was travelling to Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur upon reaching at the place of incident, accidentally bumped from the rear of Honda parked at the right shoulder of the road. as a result the driver sustained injury and was immediately rushed to Zanorte Hospital, Dipolog City by the responding medical team from Sergio Osmena while the back rider  was left behind  after seeing his body to be considerably and obviously dead. The driver of Isuzu is now under the custody of Pinan MPS for proper disposition.

Arrest of an Escapee

Operatives of Dipolog City Police Station arrested the person of Rebecca Dagayloan Buaya, 38 years old, married and a resident of Obay, Polanco, Zamboanga Del Norte. He was arrested at Raul Campoys residence situated at Osmena St., Brgy Biasong, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 11:45 PM of September 28, 2017. The arrested was a detainee of Zamboanga Del Norte Correctional and Rehabilitation Center of Sitio Sipulan, Brgy Don Jose Aguirre, Manukan, Zamboanga Del Norte who was convicted for violation of RA 9165 and escaped the said jail facility last September 15, 2017.  Arrested escapee is now detained at Dipolog CPS for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

Operatives of Sibutad MPS conducted manhunt operation at Purok 1, Brgy Minlasag, Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 6:00 AM of September 28, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Manoa Manon-Og Mete, 27 years old, male, single and a resident of Purok 1, Brgy Minlasag, Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte. Suspect was charged for the crime of murder under criminal case no 21925, issued by Judge Ric S. Bastasa of RTC, Ninth Judicial Region Dipolog City, Branch 8, and Dated September 25, 2017 without bail bond recommended. The arrested subject person is presently detained at Sibutad MPS for proper disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENTS - September 28, 2017

Robbery Incident

Robbery incident transpired at Nobleza Rice Buying Station in Purok 2, Brgy. Poblacion, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:50 AM of September 27, 2017. Investigation disclosed that according to the victim identified as Estrella Damiles Nobleza, 49 years old, married, businesswoman and a resident of Purok 1, Brgy. Poblacion, Mahayag, owner of Nobleza Rice Buying Station that at around 7:30 AM of September 27, 2017 together with her employees, the two (2) unidentified male personality arrived wherein  one of them wore a jacket, camouflage pants, sling bag on front body and a mask pointed a gun to her with an unidentified firearm at her chest and asked to give all the money in the drawer of her table and inside her bag, while the other suspect wearing black jacket, pants and backpack allegedly armed with two (2) unidentified caliber of firearm was standing outside the establishment who served as look out. Immediately, the suspects fled to unknown direction onboard a single xrm motorcycle, color black with white combination, without plate number attached and carted away more or less ₱400,000.00. mahayag mps is now conducting hot pursuit operation for the possible identification and arrest of the suspects.

Progress Report on Shooting Incident

Please be informed that at about 8:40 am of September 26, 2017, elements of Liloy MPS proceeded to Barangay Mucas, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte particularly at the residence of Philip Dagurayan Malon (victim of the shooting incident) purposely to conduct further investigation. investigation revealed that prior to the incident, Philip Dagurayan Malon and his other seven companions to include Ava Lagare Vega And Edgar Vincent Lagare (victims) onboard an Isuzu trooper from Regional Trial Court – Liloy, purposely to escort the issuance of commitment order from court of their former “kapartido” in politics namely Diosdado Suicano Ontolan – former Barangay Captain Of Santo Niño, Salug and Marlon Cervas Nugas Jr. who were temporarily detained at Salug MPS for the crime of murder. thereafter, Philip Malon’s company decided to go to the under construction commercial building owned by Mr. Marjhun Bihag situated at Barangay Baybay, Liloy, and to wait there the service vehicle of Salug MPS where the two accused been onboard with the other convoy bongo vehicle considering that Philip Malon’s passenger/companion Mrs. Melodie J. Tollin (Malons’ running mate as mayor of Salug Municipality last 2016 national and local election) requested to visit their friend Marichu Acas (stole rentee of the commercial building) and to have a personal necessity thereat but however, the shooting occurred.

Drowning Incident

On or about 12:15 pm of September 26, 2017, Rolly Dalman Agulong, 35 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Bunawan, Godod, reported to Godod MPS that his daughter identified as Jean Bucan Agulong, 7 years old, a grade 2 student failed to return home after attending classes at Bunawan Elementary School, Bunawan, Godod, Zamboanga Del Norte last September 25, 2017. Elements of Godod Mps immediately conducted a follow-up investigation with the help of Barangay Officials and populace in the aforementioned place in order to locate the missing student. Unfortunately, at about 9:10 AM of September 27, 2017, the cadaver of the missing student was found at Bunawan River, Brgy. Godod, Zamboanga Del Norte. According to the witnesses, after the victim attended his class last September 25, 2017 at around 4:00 PM, allegedly the victim with her classmates went to the river purposely to pick-up guava fruit that caused the victim to accidentally fall and sink and being carried away by the strong current of the water. The classmates of the victim who accompanied her during the time, failed to report the incident promptly because of fear. Post mortem examination was conducted by Mrs. Heide L. Babate, Rural Health Midwife who revealed that the initial finding or cause of death is due to drowning.

Arrest of Wanted Person

Elements of Gutalac MPS conducted manhunt operation at Barangay Malian, Gutalac, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 12:50 PM of September 27, 2017. Arrested was Julius Betache Dela Torre, 26 years old, single, farmer and a resident of aforementioned place. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of multiple attempted murder in relation to RA 7610 issued by Judge Oscar D. Tomarong, RTC, Branch 28, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte dated February 13, 2017 docketed under criminal case no. l-002909 with bail bond recommended to ₱120,000.00. The accused is detained at Gutalac MPS for proper disposition.

Murder Suspect Arrested

A murder suspect was arrested by operatives of Sibutad MPS at Brgy. Minlasag, Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:00 PM of September 27, 2017. Accused was identified as Enerio Gumanad Gandasan, 38 years old, male, single, and a resident of Purok 1, Brgy. Minlasag, Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Ric S. Bastasa, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 8, Dipolog City, and Dated September 25, 2017 for the crime of murder docketed under Criminal Case No. 21925 with no bail bond recommended. Arrested accused is detained at Sibutad MPS for proper disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENT - September 27, 2017

Vehicular Traffic Accident

Vehicular traffic accident transpired at the National Highway of Barangay Causwagan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:32 AM of September 26, 2017, wherein Vehicle-1 Hyundai dump truck with plate no. act 7616, driven by James Louie Pasinabo Grejaldo (voluntarily surrendered), male, single, 26 years old, resident of Lower Taway, Ipil, and presently staying in Malintuboan, Labason, Zamboanga Del Norte, vehicle-2 Honda wave 100 black with plate no. JU 9992, driven by Jessica Soria Castañares (dead on the spot), female, married, 38 years old, with back rider Jellie Soria Castañares (daughter), single, 19 years old, both resident of villa c. Sudiacal, Liloy. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that both vehicles were running in the same direction from Liloy going to Tampilisan, upon reaching at the National Highway Of Barangay Causwagan, Liloy, vehicle-1 (Hyundai dump truck) which is ahead of vehicle-2 (motorcycle) stopped at the one way elevated part of the under constructed road due to the slowing down of the vehicles ahead of them while entering the one way road. due to vehicle-1 is heavily loaded with sand gravel, its brake malfunctioned causing it to move in reverse direction/moved backwards resulting it to ran-over the vehicle-2 that resulted to the instantaneous death of its driver Jessica Soria while the back rider was able to jump away from the motorcycle. Victim’s body was now at Villa Babas Funeral Homes while the vehicles involved were brought to liloy mps for proper disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENTS - Septermber 26, 2017

Shooting Incident

Shooting incident transpired at Barangay Baybay, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte Fronting Marjhon Commercial Building at about 5:10 PM of September 25, 2017. The victims were identified as Hon. Philip Dagurayan Malon (dead on arrival, a Barangay Chairman of Barangay Mucas, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte, 40 years old, male, married; Edgar Vincent Lagare (dead on arrival, 27 years old, male and a resident of Brgy. Liguac, Salug, Ava Lagare Vega, 35 years old, female married, also a resident of Brgy. Liguac, Salug and Arl R. Acas, 25 years old, male, single. Investigation disclosed that while said victims were together with his three aforementioned companions dropped at the under construction commercial building owned by Hon. Marjhon Bihag, a SB member of Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte and went to their rented stole to meet with their friends Ms. Marichu Acas, accordingly, minutes passed, three (3) Honda XRM 125 motorcycles without plate numbers attached onboard four (4) unidentified suspects wearing bonnets, armed with long firearms stopped in front of the building, hastily disembarked and hurriedly walked towards the victim’s location then suddenly open fired unto them. Hon. Malon tried to evade and ran away from the suspects but the culprits chased him and shot him several times. The suspects immediately left the crime scene heading towards Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte. The victims were immediately brought to Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital but Hon. Malon And Edgar Vincent Lagare were declared dead on arrival by Dr. Joseph Lim, Attending Physician of said hospital while the other two victims were forwarded to Dipolog City Hospital. Recovered from the crime scene were three (3) pieces fired cartridge cases of caliber 5.56; two (2) pieces live ammunition of caliber 5.56; and one (1) unit Isuzu trooper. Investigator on-case is Po1 Jo-An Utong with cellphone number 0935-503-6630.

Arrest of Wanted Person

Operatives of Dipolog City Police Station conducted manhunt operation at Purok Pag-Asa, Brgy. Barra, Dipolog City at about 2:50 PM of September 25, 2017. This led to the arrest of Rige Amper Tadle, 32 years old, single, and a resident of said place. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of attempted homicide docketed under criminal case nr. a-52894 issued by Presiding Judge Chad Martin Paler of RTC9, Branch 1, Dipolog City Dated August 18, 2017 with recommended bail bond amounting to twelve thousand pesos (₱12,000.00). Arrested accused is detained at said police station lock-up for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

Operatives of Sindangan MPS conducted manhunt operation at Brgy. Bantayan, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 2:20 PM of September 25, 2017. The operation led to the arrest of Amado Verdadero Macias, Jr., 22 years old, male, single, civilian and a resident of said place by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of section 11, article ii of R.A. 9165 docketed under Criminal Case Nr. S-5656 Issued By Presiding Judge Reymar L. Lacaya Of RTC9, Branch 11, Sindangan dated September 7, 2017 with bail bond recommended fixed at two hundred thousand pesos (₱200,000.00). The accused is detained at said police station for proper disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENTS - September 25, 2017

Dead Body Found

A 48-year old woman was found dead at her residence in Barangay El Paraiso, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 6:10 PM of September 24, 2017. The victim was identified as Marieta Trasmonte Legarde, 48 years old, married and a resident of said place. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that at around 5:30 PM of September 24, 2017, the husband of the victim Mr. Alejandro Legarde arrived in his residence and when he entered their house, he discovered his bloody wife lying on the floor, sustained two (2) stabbed wounds on her neck believed to be stabbed by the unidentified suspect/s and also carted away two (2) cellular phones described as cherry mobile and telego and a cash money of more or less Php4, 000.00 pesos.  Recovered from the crime scene was one (1) scissor with blood stain believed to be the weapon used by the suspect. Victim was brought to Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital but was pronounced dead by the attending physician Dra.  Juvylisa S. Asentista. Personnel of Liloy MPS are still conducting follow-up investigation for the identity and possible arrest of the suspect.

Project Double Barrel

Operatives of Salug MPS conducted buy bust operation at Brgy. Poblacion East, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte z at about 9:20 PM of September 24, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Renato Española Manolong, of same place. Recovered from his possession and control were: one (1) pc heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be “shabu” (buy bust); two (2) pcs heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be “shabu”; and mark money. Arrested person is now detained at Salug MPS for filing of appropriate charges in court.

Arrest of Wanted Person

Operatives of Salug MPS conducted manhunt operation at Barangay Binoni, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 11:00 PM of September 24, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Rosvin Gonzales Enario, single, 20 years old and a resident of said place. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Oscar D. Tomarong, Branch 28, 9th RTC, Liloy for the crime of statutory rape docketed under Criminal Case # l-003175, dated July 5, 2017 without bail bond recommended. Arrested wanted person is now detained at Salug MPS for proper disposition.

REPORTED INCIDENT - September 24, 2017

Shooting Incident

On or about 4:30 pm of September 22, 2017, a shooting incident transpired at Purok 9, Lintangan, Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte. Investigation disclosed that the victim was identified as Vicente Lumopog Caing, 54 years old, married, and a resident of Lintangan, Sibuco who sustained lone gunshot wounds at his forehead by Jayben Caing Aguilar (nephew of the victim), 24 years old, male, single, and a resident of Purok 9, of same barangay. Incident transpired at the residence of the suspect. Recovered at the crime scene were: one (1) cal. 38 pistol, one (1) homemade cal. 22, one (1) homemade shotgun, 148 rounds of assorted live ammunitions and two (2) magazines of M16 rifle. Recovered at the body of the victim was one double blade hunting knife tucked on his waist. Further, the PNP team conducted hot pursuit operation against the suspect at Zamboanga City Medical Center in Zamboanga City for he sustained also a gunshot wound at his left leg. Hence, at about 5:30 pm of September 22, 2017, said suspect was successfully arrested at the ZCMC. Motive of the said incident was land dispute. Investigator on-case is Po2 Edgar D Luyao with cellphone number 0935-458-1063.

Cadaver Found

A human cadaver was found floating along the seashore of Poblacion, Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 4:45 PM of September 22, 2017 Investigation disclosed that the unidentified male cadaver with only his lower limbs remaining was wearing “maong” short pants with visible multiple hack wounds to his thigh. The body was found already in the state of decomposition. Further investigation disclosed that the victim is believed to have come from other place and was just carried by strong waves. The cadaver was immediately buried in traditional Muslim rights by an imam at Sibuco Muslim Cemetery. The investigator on case is PO2 Edgar D. Luyao with number 09354581063.

Implementation of Search Warrant For Violation Of RA 10591

A Barangay Chairman was arrested by operatives of CIDG and Manukan MPS during the implementation of search warrant at his residence in Barangay Don Jose Aguirre, Manukan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:30 AM of September 21, 2017. Arrested was identified as Virgilio Usad, of legal age, married and a resident of said place. This is by virtue of Search Warrant No. 006-2017 for violation of R.A. 10591 signed by Jose Rene Dondoyano, Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch 6, Dipolog City. Recovered from the house of the aforementioned subject is one (1) unit caliber 45 pistol, norinco with serial number 301955 and expired license, and one (1) piece magazine assembly of caliber 45 loaded with ten (10) pieces live ammunitions. Suspect is now under the custody of CIDG-Zamboanga Del Norte.  

Arrest of Wanted Person

A farmer was handcuffed by elements of Siayan MPS following a manhunt operation at Brgy. Gunyan, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:00 AM of September 21, 2017. The accused was identified as Rolly Sumolay Lumiling, 34, farmer and a resident of Barangay Gunyan, Siayan. This is for the crime of Unjust Vexation in relation to R.A.7610 docketed under Criminal Case No. S-5633 issued by Hon. Reymar L. Lacaya, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 11, Sindangan, dated January 10, 2017 with bail bond recommended to twenty-four thousand pesos (₱24, 000.00). Suspect was brought to Siayan Diagnostic Center for medical and physical check-up and subsequently brought and detained at Siayan MPS for proper disposition.

Operatives of Salug MPS conducted manhunt operation at Brgy Sto. Niño, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:15 PM of September 20, 2017. This resulted in arrest of Diosdado Ontolan - Brgy. Captain of said barangay and Marlon Nugas Jr. of legal age, a resident of said place. Both subjects person had standing warrant of arrest issued & duly signed by Hon. Oscar D. Tomarong, Judge Of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Br 28, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte for the Crime Of Murder docketed under cc no. l-003272 dated sept 7, 2017 with no bail bond recommended. Security Guard Arrested for Indiscriminate Firing

A security guard was arrested by Labason MPS after he accidentally shot an 18-year old student at Ubay National High School, Labason, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 11:40 AM of September 19, 2017. Labason MPS identified the arrested as entified as Teodoro Lagudas Mi-ot, 60 years old, married, and a resident of Brgy. Ubay, Labason, Zamboanga Del Norte. Investigation showed that prior to the incident, the security guard was attacked by three (3) students of said school wherein in the course of incident, the security guard pulled up his issued 357 revolver with serial number 827596 and made a warning shot against the students, but it hit the left toe of an 18-yer old grade 8 student of said school. Victim was brought to Labason District Hospital while the suspect is presently detained at the mentioned police station for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

A 34-year man was arrested at Barangay Poblacion Alto, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:00 PM of September 19, 2017. Arrested was Rino Manding Casiong, 34 years old, single, unemployed, and a resident of Sinaad, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga Del Norte. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Ric S. Bastasa, RTC9, Branch 8, Dipolog City for the crime of Attempted Murder docketed under Criminal Case No. 20352 with bail bond recommended to one hundred twenty thousand pesos (₱120,000.00). He is presently detained at Sergio Osmeña MPS for proper disposion.

REPORTED INCIDENTS - September 19, 2017

Shooting Incident

Shooting incident transpired at National Highway, Barangay Owaon, Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 2:45 PM of September 18, 2017, wherein victim identified as Hermil Baluarte Caipang, 37 years old, male, married, an employee of a cargo forwarder and a resident of Brgy Masidlakon, Dapitan City was shot by an unidentified person. Initial investigation disclosed that at around 2:40 pm of same date the victim was riding a motorcycle bound to Dapitan City together with his brother Reynel Baluarte Caipang when suddenly two unidentified male suspects riding a blue Honda XRM motorcycle followed them and upon reaching at the place of incident one of the suspects shot the victim once, hitting on his neck. Suspects fled to unknown direction. Victim was brought to Doctor Jose Rizal Hospital, Dapitan City and later forwarded to Zamboanga Del Norte Hospital, Dipolog City. Dapitan City Police Station conducting follow up investigation to determine the motive and possible arrest of the suspect.

Progress Reports on Encounter Incident

The Sibuco MPS has retrieved the two (2) members of lawless elements that were killed during the encounter between the lawless elements and government forces on September 17, 2017. The two casualties were identified as Ganih Alid, 30-35 years old, male and a resident of Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte and Yoyong Capunol Anjah, 25-30 years old, male and a resident of Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte. Both casualties were believed to be followers of Ustadz Kadjuh Tungayaw. Cadavers were turned over to their immediate family.

REPORTED INCIDENTS - September 18, 2017

Encounter Incident

Combined troops of Zamboanga Del Norte Public Safety Company and 42nd Infantry Battalion, Phil. Army while conducting combat operations at the vicinity of Sitio Sibugon, Barangay Panganuran, Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 2:00 PM of September 17, 2017, encountered more or less (ten) 10 lawless elements under Commander Kadyo. The firefight lasted for 10 minutes and the enemies withdrew towards north direction. As a result, two unidentified (2) persons were killed on enemy side. Recovered at the crime scene are one (1) Garand rifle with serial number 2277196; one (1) pc improvised shotgun; eleven (11) pieces ammunition for shotgun; one hundred twelve (112) ammunition for Garand rifle; one (1) piece ammunition for M203; one (1) piece handbag; six (6) pieces identification cards; one (1) solar panel; three (3) cellphones; two (2) pieces wallets; one (1) piece calculator; three (3) pieces camouflage shirt; one (1) camouflage lower pants; three (3) bandoliers; and several enemy documents. The two (2) cadavers were turned over to the Barangay Officials of Barangay Lambagoan, Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte.

Arrest of Wanted Person

A wanted person was arrested by combined operatives of Sibutad MPS and Sergio Osmeña MPS during a manhunt operation at Purok 3, Brgy. Labiray, Sergio Osmeña Sr., Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:00 PM of September 16, 2017. The accused was identified as Albert Diez Mario, 18 years old, male, single, Filipino and a resident of said place. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Rogelio Laquihon, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City issued on August 16, 2017 for the crime of Serious Physical Injuries docketed in Criminal Case No. 21836 with bail bond recommended of twelve thousand pesos (₱ 12,000.00). He is detained at Sibutad MPS for documentation prior commitment to court concerned.

Campaign against Illegal Fishing

PNP elements of Jose Dalman MPS conducted seaborne patrol at the Municipal Seawater of Jose Dalman, Zamboanga Del Norte at about11:30 PM of September 16, 2017. This resulted in the interception of two (2) motorized fishing boats for violations of municipal fishery ordinance. The fishing boats were operated by Junmark Lisam Isaw, 32 years old, married and a resident of Brgy. Nipaan, Sindangan and Leonie Laquio Labadlabad, 38 years old, married and a resident of said place. The said suspects and the fishing boats were brought to Jose Dalman MPS for proper disposition.

Mauling Incident

A foreigner who sustained injuries was lying on ground in front of R. Sia Hardware, At Poblacion, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:20 PM of September 15, 2017. The victim was identified as Semsem Zahgar Farag Gayed, 38 years old, male, Egyptian national, single and a resident of Asiut, Egypt and temporarily residing at Benigno Aquino, Sindangan. Accordingly, prior to the incident the victim was inside cl market particularly at one (1) of its video k bar and having a drinking spree there and while on the process, the victim meet the suspect who was also drinking inside the said video k bar then have an heated argument. When the suspect went out from the said video k bar, the victim followed him outside and then opened the button and zipper of the suspect worn short pants that angered the latter then again have a heated arguments. Afterwards, the suspect together with his friend went home but the victim followed them and upon reaching on the place of incident situated few meters away from cl market the victim collared the suspect that prompted the latter to box the victim hitting the victim’s mouth that resulted him to fell down into the ground. Incident happened at about 10:15 pm of same date. Personnel of Sindangan MPS conducted follow –up investigation and it yielded to the identity of the suspect as Nelboy Mangag Lalag, 22 years old, male, single and a resident of Caluan, Sindangan, however, at about 1:30 am of September 16, 2017, the suspect voluntarily surrendered to Sindangan MPS and presently detained at said station.

PNP personnel of Gutalac MPS conducted manhunt operation at Brgy Loay, Gutalac, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 11:30 AM of September 16, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Mario Sinoy Enriquez, 54 years old, married, farmer and a resident of above mentioned place. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon Veronica C Dg Laput, Presiding Judge, 6th MCTC, Labason, Zamboanga Del Norte Dated November 12, 2015 for alarms and scandal docketed in cc# 3720-g with bail bond recommended amounted to  Php 2,000.00. Arrested person now temporarily detained at Gutalac MPS for proper disposition.

Escape of Prisoner

A prisoner manages to escape at the Zamboanga Del Norte Correctional and Rehabilitation Center (ZNCRC) In Barangay Don Jose Aguirre, Manukan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 3:00 PM September 15, 2017. The escapee was identified as Rebecca Acopio Dagayloan, 38 years old, with live-in partner, and a resident of Brgy. Obay, Polanco. Zamboanga Del Norte. She was imprisoned for violation of R.A. 9165. Initial investigation disclosed that at about 8:00 AM of September 15, 2017, Provincial Government of Zamboanga Del Norte Conducted Medical Outreach at Zamboanga Del Norte Correctional and Rehabilitation Center which ended at around 1:00 PM of same date. However, at around 3:00 PM of September 15, 2017 during the accounting of female detainees, the duty prison guards found out that said detainee was missing. Further investigation revealed that said detainee was able to detach the barbwire fence at the back portion of female cell building. Elements of Manukan MPS are still conducting hot pursuit for the possible re-arrest of the escapee.

Joint elements of CIDG 10, Oroqueta CPS, PRO 10, RPSB 9, Zamboanga Del Norte PPO and Sindangan MPS conducted manhunt operation at Fermina Lodging House and Apartment situated at Ramon Magsaysay, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:40 AM of September 15, 2017. This led to the arrest of Clifford Sardido Ag-Ag a.k.a. “cliff”, 37 years old, male, Filipino, single and a resident of Don Bernardo A. Neri, Calamba, Misamis Occidental. This is for the following crimes committed: robbery docketed under criminal case nr. 1451 and serious illegal detention docketed under criminal case nr. 1450, both issued by Honorable Roy P. Murallon, Acting Presiding Judge, Branch 36, Rtc 10th Judicial Region, Calamba, Misamis Occidental; and slander by deed docketed under criminal case nr. 19-2016 with bail bond recommended amounting to two thousand pesos (₱2,000.000), unlawful arrest (art. 269 of rpc) docketed under criminal case nr. 15-2016 with bail bond recommended amounting to two thousand pesos (₱2,000.00) and less serious physical injuries (art. 265 of rpc) docketed under criminal case nr. 116-206 with bail bond recommended amounting to two thousand pesos (₱2,000.00), all issued by Honorable Stephen Ian T. Belacho, Presiding Judge, Mctc 10th Judicial Region, Calamba, Misamis Occidental. however, during the implementation of the aforementioned warrant of arrest confiscated from the possession and control of the subject were the following: one (1) unit caliber 45 pistol colt mk 1v bearing serial number 735162 with one (1) magazine loaded with seven (7) live ammunitions and one (1) piece fragmentation grenade found inside the camouflage sling bag; unregistered grand star single motorcycle, color black with key and no plate number attached; and three (3) motorcycle plate numbers (JA 48278, JA 54881 & JA 48269). The confiscated items and the arrested accused were brought to Sindangan Municipal Police Station and were subjected to physical examination at Sindangan District Hospital pending for filing of case and waiting for further order from the issuing court of the warrant of arrest. This led to the arrest of Joel Yuring Culanculan, 53 years old, married, a resident of aforementioned place by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Ric S.  Bastasa, Presiding Judge of RTC – 9th Judicial Region, Branch 8, Dipolog City dated September 14, 2017 for the crime of frustrated murder docketed under criminal case nr. 21913 with bail bond recommended amounting to two hundred thousand pesos (₱200,000.00). He presently is detained to said police station for proper disposition.

Concha-Ageas Of Rtc, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 10, Dipolog City Dated September 6, 2017 for violation of sec. 4 in relation to sec. 28 (e, 1) of ra 10591 docketed under criminal case number 21866 with bail bond recommended amounting to eighty thousand pesos (₱80,000.00). This resulted in the arrest of rey torres joromat, 31 years old, male, married and a resident of Malungon, Tungawan. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest docketed under cc nr. 15-135 for viol of sec. 3 (4) of pd 1613 for the crime of arson issued by Hon. Ruben N. Bance Presiding Judge Of Rtc, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 29 Of San Miguel Zamboanga Del Sur. arrested subject person is presently detained at Tungawan MPS for proper disposition. 

REPORTED INCIDENTS - September 13, 2017

Hacking Incident

Hacking incident transpired at Sitio Lupot, Brgy Poblacion, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:20 PM of September 12, 2017. The involved person was Rogie Intrina Taunes, 30 years old, married and Dominador Alon Tulawe, 43 years old, single, both residence of above mentioned place. investigation disclosed that the duo were having a drinking spree when later the duo had a heated argument and thereby prompted each to other draw their respective bolo and hacked each other. As a result, Rogie sustained hacked wound at his left shoulder while Dominador also sustained 3 hacked wounds at different parts of his body and was brought to Siayan Diagnostic Centre and later both of them were transferred to Sindangan District Hospital for further medication. Personnel of Siayan MPS conducted follow up investigation to determine the motive. Investigator is PO2 Armando Pelayo-09352180247.

Stabbing Incident

Stabbing incident transpired at Brgy San Francisco, Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 5:25 pm on September 12, 2017 wherein victim Fermin Malacat, 40 years old was stabbed by Clarito Duhaylungsod Delos Santos, 57 years old, married both of said place. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim was on his way home coming from a drinking spree. While walking, he was followed by the suspect and later they engage in a heated argument that prompted the suspect to stab the victim once hitting on his left portion of the stomach and was immediately brought to Piñan District Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician. Suspect was arrest by the responding pnp personnel of Dapitan CPS and presently detained at said station for proper disposition. Motive of the incident is personal grudge.

Confiscation of Illegal Drugs

Recovery/confiscation of illegal drugs from one of the visitors of Zamboanga Norte Correctional And Rehabilitation Center (ZNCRC), Don Jose Aguirre, Manukan, Zamboanga Del Norte. Personnel of Manukan MPS together with ZNPDEA personnel proceeded to the area, wherein it reveals that at around 11:08 AM of September 12, 2017, a 13 years old, grade 8 student at Zamboanga Del Norte National High School, Turno Campus, Dipolog City and a resident of Ubay, Polanco,  Zamboanga Del Norte wanted to visit her mother named Rebecca Acopio Buaya who was imprisoned for violation of RA 9165, during the body search of said minor conducted by Susana Ferolin Tolentin Duty Female Jail Guard it was found out that one (1) pc big heat sealed plastic transparent sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu was concealed on suspect’s foot socks. Upon verification of suspect’s cellphone, it was found out on SMS that her mother instructed her to deliver the said illegal drug items to the said facility. Witnessed during the interrogation were Mr. Arjie Cerna, Local Radio Reporter, Hon. Melecio Embate Jr., Brgy. Councilor of Don Jose Aguirre, Manukan. Confiscated item is now under custody of Manukan MPS as well as the suspect with the knowledge of Manukan MSWD while case now being prepared. Shooting Incident

Shooting incident transpired at Barangay Poblacion, Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:31 AM of September 11, 2017, wherein victim Alvin Toralba Laliyah, 41 years old, male, married, caretaker of globe telecommunication company, Filipino and a resident of aforementioned place was shot by unidentified perpetrator. Victim sustained one (1) gunshot wound at his right clavicle area centre back point and exited at centre back point spine area. The victim was rushed to Sibuco Municipal Hospital and further brought to Zamboanga City for further medication. Recovered at the crime scene were two (2) empty shells and one (1) live ammunition of cal. 45 pistol. Elements of Sibuco MPS are continuously conducting investigation to possibly identity the perpetrator. Investigator on-case is PO2 Edgar D Luyao with cell phone number 0935-458-1063.

Hacking Incident

Hacking incident transpired at Barangay Seriac, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:50 PM of September 9, 2017 wherein Roy Gandipon Canlas, 19 years old, single, farmer and his brother in-law Dondon Mendoza Egol, 25 years old, married, farmer all residents of Brgy Balunukan, Siayan, were hacked by unidentified person. Investigation conducted disclosed that both victims had a drinking spree and they decided to go home upon reaching at the place of incident suspects appeared and hacked both victims that resulted to their untimely death. Suspect fled to unknown direction. Both cadavers were brought by their family at Brgy Balunokan Siayan. Personnel of Siayan MPS is now conducted follow-up investigation to determine the motive and for possible arrest of the suspects.

Joint operation conducted by personnel of Sindangan MPS and CIDG conducted manhunt operation at Barangay Goleo, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 8:30 PM of September 10, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Gloria Oto Abao, 50 years old, widow, female, of Brgy Goleo, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Edmundo P. Pintac (Acting Presiding Judge) Of Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 13, Oroquieta City for the crime of kidnapping docketed in cc# 2419-13 dated April 30, 2014 with no bail recommended. The arrested subject person was properly turn-over to personnel of Oroquieta CPS and CIDG Misamis Occidental for proper disposition.

Man Held for Carrying Home Shotgun

A 30-year old man who was believed to be under the influenced of intoxicating liquor was arrested for carrying improvised homemade shotgun at Barangay Joaquin Macias (dalongdong), Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:00 AM of September 10, 2017. Sindangan MPS identified the suspect as Jemar Haylalapit Alingal, 30 years old, male, single, of Brgy. Joaquin Macias (dalongdong), Sindangan. Entrapment Operation

Operatives of Dipolog City Police Station conducted an entrapment operation against Jonathan Dimasangcay Laranjo, 38 years old, married, a resident of Barangay Gulayon, Dipolog City. Subject person pretended to be a PDEA agent assigned in PDEA provincial office based at Dapitan City using a counterfeited identification card (ID) of PDEA. Further, the subject also recruiting persons to be a PDEA assets in the different places of Zamboanga Del Norte and collects money to every person who wanted to be an asset. Subject person was arrested at Bypass Road, Sta. Isabel, Dipolog City at about 7:15 PM of September 8, 2017. Subject person is detained at Dipolog CPS waiting for filing of appropriate charges in court.

Project Double Barrel

Operatives of Rizal MPS together with Provincial Intelligence Branch of Zamboanga Del Norte PPO conducted buy-bust operation at Brgy. West Pob., Rizal, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:15 PM of September 09, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Albie Duterte Lisondra, 41 years old, married and a resident of Nangcaan, Rizal, listed under watch list of Rizal MPS and categorized as HVT. 2 Abduction’s Suspect Nabbed in Sirawai

Elements of Zamboanga Del Norte Provincial Public Safety Company and Sirawai MPS has arrested two suspicious persons in Sirawai Municipality, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 6:30 AM of September 7, 2017. The arrested persons were identified as Soudi Pondusan Banguih, 36 year old, married and a resident of Brgy Danganon, Sirawai and Edilberto Sarmago Albino, 61 years old, married and a resident of Brgy Antonino, Labason. Both persons allegedly were involved in the recent abduction of Jed Tiu Quimbo in Labason, Zamboanga Del Norte based on the CCTV footage and confirmation of the witness Jolito Timanono Rodillos, who was with the victim during the incident. He directly identified that the two (2) aforementioned suspects were involved and companion with the abductors during the time of incident. Arrested subject person are presently at detained at Labason MPS for proper filing of case in court.

Mauling Incident

Mauling incident transpired at Purok Makugihon, Miputak, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:00 AM of September 8, 2017, wherein victim Cheryl Omnos Sontosidad, 31 years old was mauled by her live-in partner Saidamin Olmoguez Tagoranao, 36 years old, single both of above mentioned place. Investigation conducted disclosed that while the victim was standing outside their house, the suspect suddenly mauled her without apparent reason. Victim sustained injuries in her body was brought to Corazon C. Aquino Hospital, Biasong, Dipolog City for medication. Suspect was arrested by the responding PNP personnel of Dipolog CPS and presently detained at said station for proper disposition.

Project Double Barrel

Combined elements of Dipolog City Police Station and PDEA conducted buy-bust operation at Purok Parpagayo, Minaog, Dipolog City at about 8:45 PM of September 7, 2017. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jicar Caparaso Ogoc, 33 years old and a resident of aforementioned place. confiscated from his possession were the following:  three (3) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu, eleven (11) pieces cut rolled aluminum foil, five hundred peso bill (₱500.00) bearing serial number snze025374 marked money, five (5) pieces improvised disposable lighter (assorted color), one thousand eighty pesos (₱1,080.00) in different denominations, one (1) unit cherry mobile cellphone color white with battery but without sim, one (1) unit my phone cellphone color black with battery and sim, ten (10) pieces of empty transparent plastic sachets, one (1) piece scissors color blue. Arrested suspect is detained at said police station waiting of appropriate charges in court.

RA 9262 Violator Held

A trouble incident transpired at Purok Verbena, Brgy. Poblacion, Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:00 PM of September 6, 2017. The Tampilisan MPS personally witness a male person believes to be under the intoxicating liquor holding a sharp bolo on both hands. immediately one of the officers introduce himself and order him to raised his both hands but the suspect refused to obey their lawful order but instead, he continuously approached the officers and challenged them for a fistfight. Confiscated from the possession of the suspect were two (2) bolos (one was measured 18 inches long while the other was 31 inches long, to include the handle). The suspect was identified as Romeo Ledda Halique, 36 years old, married and a resident of same place. Investigation disclosed that the suspect had a heated argument with his wife Evelyn Mabano Halique, 35 yrs. old, also of said place that ended up in mauling incident. Victim was hit twice on her back and was slapped on her face resulting to a several contusion. Accordingly, the said suspect habitually abused his wife every time he got drunk. The suspect and the victim were brought to Liloy District Hospital for medical examination and subsequently brought to Tampilisan MPS for documentation and filing of appropriate charges against the suspect. Arrested suspect is now detained at Tampilisan MPS lock-up cell.

REPORTED INCIDENTS - September 6, 2017

Robbery Incident

On or about 3:00 PM of September 4, 2017, Celeste Awa Arcadio, 34 years old, single and a resident of Purok Bougainvillea, Brgy. Sta. Filomena, Dipolog City owner of Jaicel Store and timeline internet café and repair shop located at aforementioned place reported to Dipolog CPS, that said business establishment was entered by unidentified suspects. Investigation disclosed that the suspects gained entry by destroying the two (2) padlocks of the door made of galvanized steel (plain sheet) connected to the sari-sari store and repair shop. the suspect/s carted the following:  two (2) unit k2 skk mobile cellular phone, one (1) unit k31 skk mobile cellular phone, one (1) unit v8210 skk mobile cellular phone, one (1) unit 230 mini skk mobile cellular phone, one (1) unit 230 skk mobile cellular phone, two (2) unit Samsung keypad cellular phone colored black and white, one (1) pc. n105 skk mobile cellular; one (1) unit tv2 skk mobile color black, and one (1) unit tv216 skk. The total worth of the cellphones carted by the suspect/s is seven thousand six hundred pesos (₱ 7,600.00).  Further, the victim revealed that at around 12:50 am of same date, she was awakened by the barks of the dog, the noise of the galvanized steel door and noticed a shadow of a man. Immediately, she asked in visayan dialect: “hoy! kinsa man mo?” to the suspects that prompted the suspects to run away from establishment. Upon viewing of the CCTV footage of said establishment, an unidentified suspect wearing gray jacket with hood and a print “batman” on the front portion and a tattoo at his right hand was captured inside said establishment. at around 7:00 pm of same date, po1 baso brought and turn-over to Dipolog CPS one (1) unidentified male person wearing gray jacket with hood and a print “batman” on the front portion which is involve in a fistfight at martinez st. corner malvar st., central barangay, dipolog city which identified later as cj montano atay, 16 years old, minor and a resident of Relocation Site, Brgy. Galas, Dipolog City. Said suspect was later identified as the malefactor captured in the cctv footage in the abovementioned robbery incident. upon inquiry to the minor suspect, he admitted and further revealed his other companions on the conduct of said robbery. immediately, a follow-up operation was conducted that resulted in the arrest of the two (2) suspects identified as Jessie Kaligan Ventura, 22 years old, single and Romeo Kaligan Ventura, Jr., 18 years old, single, and both  residents of Relocation Site, Brgy. Galas, Dipolog City were arrested at Relocation Site, Brgy. Galas, Dipolog City. Recovered from their possession and control were the following: two (2) unit Samsung, one (1) unit k2 skk cellular phone, and one (1) unit tv2 skk cellphone. Arrested suspects are under the custody of Dipolog CPS pending appropriate charges in court while recovered items were deposited at said police station for court exhibits.

Robbery Incident

On or about 8:40 AM of September 5, 2017, Marilyn  Mandih  Omamalin, 42 years old, female, married, Filipino, branch operator of personal collection located at Tajada Building, Barangay Goleo, Sindangan and a resident of Brgy. Mandih, Sindangan reported to Sindangan MPS that her branch office was forcibly entered by unidentified persons. Investigation disclosed that the perpetrators gained entry and exit at the main door of the office by destroying the steel padlock of the main door and sliding door. suspects destroyed the vault of the office and took the money amounting to one hundred thirty-three thousand pesos and nineteen pesos (₱133, 019.00), one set of silver bracelet, earrings and ring, one gold bracelet, one gold college ring (ZAEC), one Chinese gold 7-days ring and one silver bracelet with stone. Estimated total amount of the money and the jewelries is one hundred sixty-five thousand and nineteen pesos (₱165,019.00). Said incident was discovered at around 7:30 AM of September 5, 2017 by Darryl Decierdo Deguiñon, a warehouse assistant of personal collection-Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte branch, 21 years old, male, single, Filipino, a resident of Upper Denoyan, Siayan.. Investigator-on-case were Po3 Edgar E Gutual with cellphone number 0926-841-8545 and Po1 Marlon M Bañez with cellphone number 0935-728-6898..

Arrest of Arson Suspect

Two individuals were arrested by PNP Tourist Police assigned at Dipolog City Boulevard and Darryl Cantoneros Y Academia, the Duty Watchman after they allegedly burned the two (2) uninhabited houses located at Dipolog City Boulevard, Miputak, Dipolog City at about 10:45 PM of September 4, 2017.  The suspect was identified as Alberto Ageas Baro, 19 years old, single and a resident of Sianib, Polanco, who was caught in the act by two (2) witnesses: Norjosen Gumalal Ondog, 19 years old, single, a resident of Balok, Katipunan, and temporarily residing at arellano Extension, Miputak, Dipolog City; and jay-R Bintayen Gomiton, 27 years old, single and a resident of Bypass Gulayon, Dipolog City. Accordingly, said suspect Recovered from the possession of the suspect were one (1) orange disposable lighter and a wallet containing Phil health id. The suspect is detained at Dipolog CPS waiting for filing of appropriate charges in court.

Arrest of Wanted Person

Elements of Katipunan MPS conducted manhunt operation at Purok 4, Brgy. Biniray, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 11:00 AM of September 5, 2017. Arrested was Ronel Kuan Laranjo, male, 23 years old, married, Filipino and a resident of Purok 4 Brgy. Biniray, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte. Said suspect was arrested for the crime of reckless imprudence resulting in serious physical injuries docketed under criminal case nr. b-40307 with bail bond recommended fixed to six thousand pesos (₱6,000.00)  issued by hon. chad martin paler, Presiding Judge, Branch 2, Municipal Trial Court In Cities, 9th Judicial Region, Dipolog City, dated July 31, 2013. Accused is detained at Kalawit MPS lock-up cell for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

Elements of Sindangan MPS conducted manhunt operation at Brgy. La Roche, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:45 AM of September 5, 2017, and successfully arrested Vidal Bastasa Dulanas, 56 years old, married, Filipino, and a resident of Gampis, Sindangan. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Reymar L. Lacaya (Presiding Judge) Rtc 9th Judicial Region, Branch 11, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte for the crime of frustrated murder docketed under criminal case nr. S-5640 with bail bond recommended fixed to two hundred thousand pesos (₱200,000.00). Accused is detained at Sindangan MPS lock-up cell for proper disposition.

Elements of Sibutad MPS conducted manhunt operation at brgy. sipalok, sibutad, zambonaga del norte at about 5:10 PM of September 5, 2017 and arrested successfully arrested Aldrin Sumanduran, 18 years old, male, single, and a resident of said place. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by acting Presiding Judge Hon. Rogelio D. Laquihon, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Dipolog City, Branch 7 for the crime of serious physical injury docketed under criminal case nr. 21836 with bail bond recommended to twelve thousand pesos (₱12,000.00). Accused is detained at Sibutab MPS for proper disposition of the case.
