Progress Report on the Presence of Armed Men at
Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte
SIOCON - Please be
informed that after presenting some photographs from the rogue gallery of Siocon
MPS to the four (4) civilian witnesses identified as Marjun Ansali Alano, 29
years old, single, Carlo Catubay Cariño, 23 years old, married, both farmer and
a residents of Barangay D. Riconalla; Edison Sabturani Maquilang, 20 years old,
single, farmer and Joseph Sagubay Pangaral, 19 years old, single both residents
of Barangay Makiang All Of Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte who were able to escape
from the armed men and were rescued by the responding troops of Siocon MPS,
13th Sf And 42nd Ib. The victims were able to identify the two (2) suspects
among the ten (10) armed men who held them captive and serve as the guide going
to the house of the Barangay Chairman Of D. Riconalla, Hon. Dante Fabora
Realiza. The two (2) suspects were later identified as certain Halid Antao
Yacob, 28 years old and Faizal Indal, 29 years old, both residents of Barangay
Panabuatan, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Witnesses further stated that the suspects were armed with kg9, kg45,
caliber .30 Garand, M14 and m16 rifles. Furthermore, it was also learned that
this lawless group is also the suspect of a recent atrocities that transpired
in Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte. The local government unit of Siocon, Zamboanga
Del Norte headed by Mayor Julius S. Lobrigas provided the ten (10) families
evacuees of their basic needs and commodities who are temporarily shelter at
the Barangay Hall of D. Riconalla, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte. Documentation is
being prepared by Siocon MPS for filing of appropriate charges in court against
the suspects. Motive of the incident is extortion at Barangay D. Riconalla,
Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte. Investigator-on-case is Po2 Siegfred De La Cruz with

Arrest of Wanted Person
TAMPILISAN - Operatives
of Tampilisan MPS conducted manhunt operation at Barangay Poblacion,
Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:15 PM of June 3, 2017. This resulted
in the arrest of Loren Jane Castro Medina, 17 years old, a resident of Barangay
Farmington, Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte. This is by virtue of warrant of
arrest for the crime of car napping issued by Hon. Oscar D Tomarong, Presiding
Judge of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 28, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte Dated
May 25, 2017 docketed under criminal case number l-003122 with recommended
bail-bond of one hundred eighty thousand (₱180,000.00) pesos. The arrested
minor is temporarily under the custody of Tampilisan MPS for proper disposition.
Arrest of Wanted Person
POLANCO - Operatives
of Polanco MPS conducted manhunt operation in Barangay San Pedro, Polanco,
Zamboanga Del Norte at about 12:10 AM of June 3, 2017. This led to the arrest
of Felix Caninet Gumucay, Top 5 most wanted person (municipal level), 53 years
old, married, farmer, a resident of Barangay Linabo, Polanco, Zamboanga Del
Norte. subject person was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime
of acts of lasciviousness in relation to RA 7610 issued by Hon. Rogelio D
Laquihon, Presiding Judge Of Branch 7, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Dipolog,
Zamboanga Del Norte dated august 4, 2015, docketed under criminal case number
19835 with recommended bail-bond of twelve thousand (₱12,000.00) pesos for his
temporary liberty. He is presently detained at Polanco MPS for proper
disposition.
