Stabbing Incident
SERGIO OSMEÑA - Stabbing incident transpired at Purok
6, Barangay San Jose, Sergio Osmena, Zamboanga Del Norte. Wherein the victim
identified as Ferdinand Burboran Balase, 45 years old, single who was stabbed
to death by his own brother identified as Paradise Burboran Balase, 51 years
old, single, both farmers and all residents of the aforementioned place. Initial
investigation disclosed based on the testimony of the witnessed Elizabeth Faburada
Gumunod, 29 years old, victim’s live-in partner that on the early afternoon of July
11, 2017, the victim together with his friends had a drinking spree at Welma
Ebareda Store and later transferred to another store for another drinking
session. Accordingly, he went home at around 10:20 PM of the same date, he
heard the suspect furiously looking for a trouble and challenges the victim. Elizabeth
tried to stop the victim from going out of their house but failed to do so. Upon
opening of their door, the victim was immediately stabbed by the suspect
hitting on the right chest the resulted to his untimely death. The suspect was
arrested and temporarily detained at Sergio Osmeña MPS for proper disposition.
Electrocution Incident
POLANCO - Electrocution
incident occurred at Purok Rubia, Barangay Magangon, Polanco, Zamboanga Del
Norte at about 2:00 PM of July 13, 2017. The victim was identified as Donisio
Oga Nelles, 75 years old, married a resident of Purok Marang, Barangay
Magangon, Polanco, Zamboanga Del Norte was found dead at his house. Initial
investigation disclosed that prior to the incident the victim was seen by his neighbor
at around 11:00 AM of the same date doing his routinely activity like listening
radio and watching television. The victim accidentally touched the damage
portion of the outlet that caused him to be electrocuted and resulted to his
instantaneous death.
Robbery Incident
SIRAWAI - A Liza may Passenger
Bus bearing plate number 618 was held-up at the boundary of Barangay Pena and Balubuan,
Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 12:45 PM of July 13, 2017 by unidentified
armed suspects and forcibly took the collection money of the conductor,
personal belongings, cash money and cell phones of the passengers and fled to
unknown direction after the incident. Personnel of Sirawai MPS are still
conducting follow-up operation for the possible identity and arrest of the
suspects.
Report on Missing Person
SINDANGAN - On July
13, 2017 at about 8:25 AM, Carmelita Behic Manigos, 62 years old, widow, an LGU
job order employee and a resident of Sitio Horseshoe, Barangay Misok,
Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte reported to Sindangan MPS that sometimes on July
6, 2017, her son Ramil Behic Manigos, 35 years old, married a resident of the
aforementioned place left his house boarded his MSX 150x motor star motorcycle
bearing plate number JA 1280, engine number 162fmj13a05378, and chassis number lhjpjkla2db305253 loaded
with eight (8) fighting cocks bound for Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay but until this
present time her son failed to return home. Investigator-on-case is Po2 Ramil
Tequil with contact number 09471315505.

Arrest of Wanted Person
DIPOLOG CITY - Combined
elements of Dipolog City Police Station and CIDG conducted manhunt operation at
Purok Buli, Barangay Minaog, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:30
AM of July 13, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Reymart Cangque Montemayor,
26 years old, single a resident of the above-mentioned place. subject person
was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of section 5 (e) (2)
of ra 9262 issued by Hon. Rogelio D Laquihon, Presiding Judge Of 9th RTC,
Branch 7, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte docketed under criminal case number
21756 dated July 12, 2017 with recommended bail-bond of twelve thousand
(₱12,000.00) pesos for his temporary liberty. The arrested person is temporarily
detained at Dipolog CPS for proper disposition.
