Shooting Incident
SIOCON - Shooting
incident occurred National Highway of Barangay Manaol, Siocon, Zamboanga Del
Norte at about 9:30 AM of July 1, 2017 . The victim was Gaspar Realiza Jutingo, 52
years old, married, farmer and a resident of Barangay Poblacion Siocon,
Zamboanga Del Norte. Accordingly, he was on his way home from Barangay A.L.
Micubo onboard his motorcycle and upon reaching at the National Highway Of
Barangay Manaol, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte allegedly a certain Marcel Fronda,
of legal age armed with unknown type of handgun blocked his way and shot him
but fortunately only the side mirror of his motorcycle was hit. Siocon MPS recovered a shattered glass from the side
mirror of the victim’s motorcycle and one (1) black holster. Siocon MPS conducted
hot pursuit operation that resulted in the arrest of Marcel Bercacio Fronda, 34
years old, married, farmer a resident of Barangay Manaol, Siocon, Zamboanga Del
Norte. He is also has a pending warrant of arrest for violation of RA 9262
issued by Hon. Laarni N. Dajao, Presiding Judge Of RTC 9th Judicial Region,
Branch 27, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte docketed under criminal case number
2017-06-06 (1498) dated June 22, 2017. The arrested person is temporarily
detained at Siocon MPS for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person
MANUKAN - Operatives
of Manukan MPS conducted manhunt operation at Barangay East Poblacion, Manukan,
Zamboanga Del Norte at about 4:30 AM of July 1, 2017. This resulted in the
arrest of Brian Cielo Alia, 23 years old, single a resident of the
above-mentioned place. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for
violation of RA 6539 as amended by RA 10883 issued by Hon. Cherry Joy C Concha
Ageas, Presiding Judge Of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 10, docketed under
criminal case number 21662 dated June 7, 2017. The arrested person is
temporarily detained at Manukan MPS for proper disposition.
