Vehicular Traffic Accident
SERGIO OSMEÑA - Vehicular
traffic accident transpired at Sitio Batotil Til, Brgy Biayon Sergio Osmeña,
Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:00 PM of June 29, 2017, vwherein, veh-1 Isuzu
forward wing van loaded with sack of rice bearing plate no aav4010 and driven
by Dennis E. Calisagan, male, 39 years old, married a resident of Brgy
Singcalan, Ramon Magsaysay, and veh-2 Kia Ambulance Of Sergio Osmena Municipal
Hospital bearing plate no sem 687, driven by Elgen Fuego Dumpa, male, 49 years
old, married resident of Brgy Biayon, Sergio Osmena with passenger/companion
identified as Ryan Manding Casiong, male, 26 years old, married, a resident of Brgy
Biayon, Sergio Osmena. Initial investigation disclosed that at about 8:50 PM of
same date veh-1 was travelling from Molave, plying to Dipolog City while
veh-2 was also travelling from Dipolog
City bound to Sergio Osmena upon reaching at the curve lane at the place of
incident both vehicles collided each other. As a result both vehicles incurred
damages and the driver of veh-2 was brought to Sergio Osmena Hospital however
declared DOA by attending physician Dra Fatima Kunting, while his
passenger/companion was forwarded to Zanorte Medical Center, Dipolog City for
further treatment. The driver of veh-1 was now under the custody of Sergio
Osmena MPS together with his driven Isuzu forward truck while the veh-2 was
left at the scene due to severe damage.

SALUG - A street
level drug pusher was arrested by operatives of Salug MPS and PDEA in a buy
bust operation at Brgy. Poblacion East, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte at about
11:00 PM of June 29, 2017. Suspect was
identified as Nido Piňero Quipot, 53 years old, male, married, of Brgy.
Poblacion East, Salug. Confiscated from his possession and control were: 2 pcs
of sachet containing white crystalline granules believe to be shabu, 1 pc of
five hundred peso bill with serial number ng863270 as marked money, cash money
amounting to p719.00 in different denominations, 1 unit black Samsung cell
phone with battery and simcard inserted, and 1 unit black with white
combination Honda xrm 125. He is presently detained at the said police station
for filing of appropriate charges in court.

SIOCON - Two alleged
drug suspects were apprehended by operatives of Siocon MPS after they were
caught in the act transacting illegal drugs at the Road going to Siocon Public
Cemetery, Brgy. Manaol, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 12:45 PM of June
30, 2017. Siocon MPS identified the arrested suspects as Apolonio Amper Ranas,
25 years old, married and Rennie Sumondod Suson, 20 years old, single, both
residents of Brgy. Poblacion, Baliguian, Zamboanga Del Norte. Confiscated from
their possession were: one (1) piece small heat-sealed transparent plastic
sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be “shabu, one (1)
piece disposable lighter; one (1) piece cigarette pack containing two (2) stick
of cigarettes and seventeen peso coins and one (1) unit cellular phone Samsung duos
black/gray. Both suspects and the confiscated items were brought to Siocon MPS for
proper disposition.
