Road Crash Accident
BALIGUIAN, Zamboanga del Norte (March 29, 2019) - Motor vehicular traffic incident transpired at Barangay Nonoyan, Baliguian, Zamboanga del Norte at about 11:52 AM of March 28, 2019.
Acting on the report PNP team of Baliguian MPS immediately responded to the aforesaid area.
Upon arrival at the described place of incident the team immediately conducted initial investigation and ocular inspection and it was disclosed that one fire truck Isuzu Elf of Bureau of Fire color red with plate number and driven by a Fire Officer 1 Paul Syric Q Lim with drivers licensed presented and a BFP personnel of Baliguian, Zamboanga del Norte with passengers namely FO1 James Sabaricos, FO1 Leo Selecio and FO1 Balingit.
Further disclosed that said fire truck was travelling from Baliguian Zamboanga del Norte to Brgy. Nonoyan, Baliguian purposely to respond on a vehicular fire incident and upon reaching at the place of incident particularly at the downhill and curve portion of the national road the fire truck lost control after its brakes malfunctioned that resulted to the loss of control of his driven vehicle.
The vehicle was accidentally overshoot on the blind curve and fell into the ravine that resulted both driver and passengers to sustain injuries in different parts of their bodies and immediately brought to Siocon District Hospital and Baliguian RHU by the PNP responding personnel for medical treatment.
Mauling Incident
LEON B. POSTIGO, Zamboanga del Norte (March 29, 2019) – Mauling incident occurred at Tiniguiban, Leon B Postigo, Zamboanga del Norte at about 8:30 AM of March 28, 2019.
Wherein victim identified as Danilo Samon Buhian, 47 years old was believed to be mauled by his son in law identified as Cherilito Digamo Abaño, 31 years old, both residents of said place.
Upon receipt of said report, personnel of Leon B Postigo MPS responded to the area and upon arrival at the area, the victim was already found by the Barangay Tanods which sustained multiple injuries on his head due to beating of empty bottle and a piece of wood.
Investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim and the suspect were having a drinking spree at their house at about 8:00 PM more or less of March 27, 2019 and they engaged in a heated argument that resulted the said incident.
Victim was brought to Rural Health Unit of said municipality for medical treatment while suspect was arrested by the responding team and now detained at Leon B Postigo MPS for proper disposition.
