Hacking Incident

Please be informed that  on september 11, 2016 at about 12:50 pm, jennybeb s. apanitan, barangay councilor of owaon, dapitan city, zamboanga del norte together with jose marlon taruc, barangay tanod of same barangay, brought and turned over to dapitan cps the living body of chistopher derama avila, 37 years old, married a resident of same place, a suspect of stabbing the victim identified as argie acoymo apilanie, of legal age, temporarily residing at the above mentioned barangay on or before 11:30 am of same date particularly at the house of a certain consolacion acoymo of the aforementioned place. Initial investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, at about 9:00 am of same date; the victim and the suspect were having a drinking spree. Hours later, the two engage in a heated argument and hacked the victim hitting on his neck and was brought to jose rizal memorial hospital, dapitan city for treatment. Arrested suspect is temporarily detained in dapitan cps pending filing of appropriate charges in court. Investigator on case is po2 rolan apilias decipulo with contact number 0912-6375-062.

Thievery Incident

Please be informed that on September 11, 2016 at about 7:30 am, Dipolog Cps received information that a thievery incident has transpired at the construction site situated at Purok 2, Barangay Sta. Isabel, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte owned by vice-mayor horacio velasco. Immediately, pnp personnel of dipolog cps led by Spo2 Vicente Salaveria iii duty investigator responded to the said report. Initial investigation disclosed that the twenty (20) meters cable wires of welding machine and fifteen (15) meters electrical wires were stolen by unidentified person/s from the on-going construction site. The suspect/s gained entrance at the back portion of the compound by climbing through the concrete fence. The incident was discovered at around 6:00 am of September 11, 2016 by Roland Lacaya Abitona, caretaker. dipolog cps, is still conducting follow-up investigation to identify and arrest the suspect/s. investigator on case is Spo2 Vicente Salaveria iii with contact number 09985482600.

Anti-illegal Drugs Operation

Please be informed that on september 11, 2016 at about 4:00 pm, pnp personnel of dapitan cps led by spo4 jose renault a. tan together with the personnel of znpdea led by agent jury rocamora conducted joint drug buy-bust operation in barangay dawo, dapitan city particularly at roning’s pension house that resulted in the arrest of raul milallos teves, 42 years old, married a resident of new dapitan, barangay rizal, zamboanga del norte. arrested suspect is not under the drug watch list of dapitan cps and that he came only to dapitan city to dispose illegal drugs. confiscated from his possession and control were one (1) heat sealed rectangular transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu as buy-bust evidence; four (4) pieces of heat sealed rectangular transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu; one (1) piece of five hundred peso (₱500.00) bill bearing serial number dm015767 used as buy-bust money; two hundred fifty (₱250.00) pesos in different denomination as proceeds; one (1) unit nokia cell phone; one (1) unit black torque d9 cell phone; one (1) unit yamaha vega motorcycle bearing plate number 2800-ji with key; and non-professional driver’s license. inventory and marking of evidence was witnessed by hon. salvador e. narvaez barangay councillor of dawo and ms. erna dela torre baradillo, media representative. arrested suspect and the confiscated items were brought to dapitan cps for proper disposition.

 Campaign against Illegal Drugs

Please be informed that on September 11, 2016 at about 4:00 PM, personnel of Dapitan CPS led by SPO4 Jose Renault A Tan together with the personnel of ZNPDEA led by Agent Jury Rocamora conducted joint drug buy bust operation in Brgy Dawo, Dapitan City particularly at Roning’s Pension House that resulted to the arrest of one Raul Teves y Milallos, 42 years old, married, a resident of New Dapitan, Rizal, Zamboanga del Norte. Arrested suspect is not under the Drug watchlist of Dapitan CPS and that he came only in Dapitan City to dispose illegal drugs. Confiscated from his possession and control were one (1) piece heat sealed rectangular transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Shabu as buybust evidence; four (4) pieces heat sealed rectangular transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Shabu; one (1) pc five hundred peso bill bearing serial nr DM015767 used as buybust money; Two Hundred Fifty (Php 250.00) Pesos in different denomination as proceeds; One (1) unit Gray Nokia cellphone; one (1) unit black Torque D9 cellphone; One (1) unit Yamaha Vega Motorcycle bearing plate Nr 2800-JI with key; and Non-Professional driver’s license of the suspect.
Inventory and marking of evidence was witnessed by Hon Salvador E. Narvaez - Brgy Councilor of Brgy Dawo and Ms. Erna Dela Torre Baradillo - Media representative.Arrested suspect and the confiscated items were brought to Dapitan CPS for proper disposition.

Campaign against Wanted Person

                Please be informed that at about 5:30pm of September 11, 2016, Intelligence operatives of Dipolog City Police Station led by SPO2 Roy P. Vertudes conducted manhunt operation in Purok Malayan, Sta. Filomena, Dipolog City and successfully arrested one Angelo Magalso y Imperial, 43 years old, married, a resident of abovementioned place and Nr. 7 of Dipolog CPS under Old Watch List. Subject person was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Presiding Judge Jose Rene G. Dondoyano of RTC Brach-6 of Dipolog City for Violation of Sec. 5 Art II of R.A. 9165, docketed in Criminal Case Nr. 20683 without bail bond recommended dated June 27, 2016. Arrested accused is now detained at Dipolog City Police Station detention cell for proper disposition.

Report on Campaign against Loose Firearms

Please be informed that at about 9:45 PM of September 11, 2016, Dapitan CPS received a report from a concerned citizen that there’s a group person in which one of them is armed with cal. 38 pistol inside Ril-J Videoke House located at Boulevard, Bgry Sta Cruz, Dapitan City.Immediately, personnel of Dapitan CPS led by PSUPT GLENN MACARIO DULAWAN, OIC conducted Oplan Bakal/Sita at the said place. Upon arrival thereat, according to the witness, said group has already left towards Brgy Dawo. The team together with the witness followed the suspects and found them in Boulevard particularly in front of Home Sweet Home Pension House, Brgy Dawo, Dapitan City. As the team approached them, one of the three (3) suspects who were positively identified by the witnesses, threw the firearm over the seawall but the team was able to recover One (1) unit Smith and Wesson Cal. 38 revolver with defaced serial number and without ammunition.
5. The three suspects identified as Vince Neal Eguia y Lactuan, 17 yo, single; Elmer Eguia y Insong Jr, 15 yo, single; and Christian Jay Pañosa y Cabilin, 16 yo, single, all residents of Brgy Banonong, Dapitan city were arrested and was brought to Dapitan CPS for the necessary documentation and further turned-over to DSWDO for proper disposition while a case for violation of 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) is being prepared for filing in court against them.
