5-year
old child died in Drowning Incident
DIPOLOG
CITY (Oct. 31, 2018) – A five year old
child was was died in Drowning incident
transpired at Dipolog City Boulevard, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte at
around 9:am of October 30, 2018.
The victim was a 5-year old male Grade
1 pupil, a resident of Purok 3, Sta. Isabel, Dipolog City. Initial investigation
disclosed that at around 9am of October 30, 2018, the victim together with
other 5 minors went on swimming particularly at the seashore of Boulevard,
Miputak, Dipolog City when suddenly the victim got drowned.
The incident was witnessed by a construction
worker who immediately called the attention of CDRRMC for assistance.
Meanwhile, victim was rushed to Corazon
C. Aquino Hospital by the responding Medical personnel but was declared dead on
arrival by the attending physician Dra. Carl Aquino.
The cadaver of the victim now lies at
the morgue of the said hospital.

Wanted Person
DIPOLOG
CITY (Oct. 31, 2018) - A 24-year old
man who was facing the crime of arson was arrested by combined operatives of
Katipunan MPS and Dipolog City Police at Barangay Barra, Dipolog City,
Zamboanga Del Norte at around 5:30am of October 30, 2018.
The arrested suspect was identified as
Jason Ellosa Dela Cruz, Male, 24 years old, driver, and a resident of Brgy.
Singatong, Katipunan, Zambonaga Del Norte.
The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant
of Arrest charged for the crime of “Arson”, under Criminal Case No.19658 issued
by Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 9, Dipolog City dated
September, 30, 2015 with no bail recommended.
Accused now temporarily detained at
Katipunan MPS for proper disposition.
Mauling
Incident
DAPITAN
CITY (Oct. 29, 2018) - Mauling
incident occurred at Bgry. Burgos, Dapitan City at about 12:30am of October 28,
2018. The victim was identified as Ronnel Galanido Pacaro, 30 years old.
He was mauled by a certain Renerio Bael
Dagpin, 43, male, married and a resident of Brgy Ilaya, Dapitan City.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that at about 12:30am of October 27, 2018, the victim punched the
suspect without apparent reason at the basketball court of Brgy Burgos, Dapitan
City which led to a commotion.
The Brgy officials then pacified the
situation but the suspect chased the victim and smashed him with a stone.
The victim sustained injuries on the
head and was rushed to Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital, Dapitan City but was later
transferred to Zanorte Medical Center for medication.
Meanwhile, at about 3:00AM of same
date, the suspect was successfully arrested and is now detained at Dapitan City
Police Station for filing of appropriate charges in court.
Report on Hacking Incident
Hacking incident transpired at Zone 1,
Brgy Ayala, Zamboanga City at about 11:30am of October 28, 2018.
The victim identified as June Mendoza y
Alvarez, 52 yrs. old, single and a resident of Brgy Tulungatung, Zamboanga City
was hacked by the suspect identified as Angelo Mendoza y Tumampos, 20 yrs. old,
single of Zone 1, Ayala, Zamboanga City.
Victim sustained multiple hacked wounds
in the different parts in his body and was rushed by the responding ambulance
to Zamboanga Medical Center for medical treatment.
The suspect was arrested by Zamboanga
City Police Station 9 and recovered from his possession one bolo.
Subject is presently detained at the
said police station for filing of appropriate charges in court. The motive of
the incident is still to be determined.

Suspect Arrested
DIPOLOG
CITY (Oct. 30, 2018) – The Intel
Operatives of Dipolog City Police Station and Lapu-lapu City Police Office
conducted law enforcement operation at Lapu, Lapu City, Cebu on October 29,
2018 at about 8:30am.
The operating team identified the
arrested suspect as Omar Gallardo Y Flores, male, 43 years old and a resident
of Igot, Turno, Dipolog City.
Said person was arrested by virtue of
Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder issued by Presiding Judge Victoriano
DL. Lacaya Jr. of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 9, Dipolog City docketed
under Criminal Case number 18544 with no bail recommended.
Said accused now temporarily detained
at Dipolog City Police Station for proper disposition.

Held for Illegal Possession of FAs and Ammos
KALAWIT,
Zamboanga del Norte (Oct. 30, 2018) – On
October 29, 2018 at about 1:00 PM, members of 42nd Infantry Battalion of Phil
Army turned-over to Kalawit MPS two suspects identified as:
Jovie Sumagaysay Punzalan, 35 years
old, Filipino, male, married, farmer and a resident of Palalian, Kalawit and
Mariano Umignol Andan, 54 years,
Filipino, male, married, farmer and resident of Taloptap, Gutalac, Zamboagna
del Norte and one unit Caliber .45, M1911 A1 U.S. Army with serial number
592731 with one Magazine and with twelve rounds live ammunition.
Based on the statement of the arresting
officers of the mentioned unit that at about 10:00am of same date, while they
were conducting combat patrol operation at Sitio Kulasian, Brgy Palalian,
Kalawit Zamboanga del Norte, they saw one suspicious person who was later on
identified as Mariano Umigno Andan who ran away upon noticed of their presence
that forced them to chase going down the hill and was successfully caught by
them.
Further, Mariano Umigno Andan revealed
to operating personnel that he has a companion named Jovie Sumagaysay Punzalan
who was at the creek near to them carrying a bag and later on was being called
by the arresting officers of the above named unit to go nearer to them for
interview and verification.
That upon further verification
conducted by the personnel of the aforesaid unit, it was found out that the
content of the bag was one unit Caliber .45, M1911 A1 U.S. Army with serial
number 592731 with one Magazine and with twelve (12) rounds live ammunition and
without any pertinent documents to prove their ownership.
That there and then, said suspects
where immediately arrested for violation of RA 10591 (Illegal Possession of
Firearms and Ammunition) and further appraised of their constitutional rights
and anti-torture act.
Furthermore, they were brought to
Kalawit Rural Health Unit, Kalawit for medical/physical examination and then
brought back to Kalawit MPS for proper disposition.
Carnapper
and Parricide Suspect Arrested in Zambo Sur
SIAYAN,
Zamboanga del Norte (Oct. 28, 2018) - A
wanted person was arrested by combined operatives of Siayan MPS Zamboanga del
Norte and Molave MPS at BambongDaku Paradise, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del
Sur at about 10:00am of October 27, 2018.
Police identified the arrested suspect
as Renie Boy Masion Gio, 29 years old, welder, male, single, a resident of
SitioTugop, BrgyParanglumba, Siayan and listed as the Top 2 Most Wanted in
Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte who was arrested by the aforesaid PNP elements
during the conduct of a joint hot pursuit operation at about 10:00am of same
date at BambongDaku, Paradise, Ramon Magsaysay, re carnapping incident (Rusi
Motorcycle 125 cc color yellow green owned by Carmelito Mejares Temonio, 42
years old, resident of Brgy. Makuguihon, Molave at about 3:00am of October 26,
2018 at Blancia, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.
The subject carnapped motorcycle was
later recovered near irrigation canal of Brgy. Blancia, Molave.
The accused was arrested by virtue of
warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Oscar D. Tamarong of RTC9, Branch
11 Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte dated April 5, 2018 for the crime of
Parricide docketed under criminal case number S-4360, without bail bond
recommended.
The said arrested wanted person is now
detained at Molave MPS for the case of Carnapping to be filed thru inquest
proceeding.Further, during inquiry, it was found out that subject has a pending
WOA for the crime of Parricide docketed under Criminal Case # S-4360 dated
April 5, 2010 issued by Acting Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch 11, Sindangan, Zamboanga
del Norte with no bailbondrecommended.
Subject person is Top 2 Most Wanted
person in Siayan MPS, Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte andnow temporarily detained
at Molave MPS while a case for Carnapping is being prepared.
