On or about 7:00 AM of September 30, 2017, operatives of
Siocon MPS and Zamboanga Del Norte PPSC conducted buy bust operation at brgy.
Bucana, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte particularly at the house of Radjuld A.
Sahibad. The operation resulted in the arrest of the following to wit: Radjul Apuaca Sahibad, 64 years old, (pusher/HVT2
Municipal level); Aljur Ibno Otih, 29 years old, (pusher/ HVT2 Municipal level);
Elvin Regidor Provida, 21 years old; Shelmin Musaddin Basa, 18 years old; Haris
Muloc Halik, 20 years old, all residents of said place, Pairing Sappal Pascual,
27 years old and Rano Sappal Pascual, 20 years old, both residents of Brgy
Nonoyan, Baliguian. Confiscated from their possession and control were the
following: seventeen (17) pieces small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets
containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu; one (1) cut small
drinking straw containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu; one
(1) unit digital weighing scale; one (1) piece five-hundred-peso bill (buy bust
money); eight (8) lighters and several drug paraphernalia; nine thousand pesos
(p9,000.00) in different denominations believe to be proceeds of illegal drug
pushing/selling; one (unit) cal. 45 cal. pistol (colt mk iv with sn 3142); six
(6) pieces live ammos of cal. 45 pistol; three (3) unit magazines of cal. 45
pistol; and fifteen (15) pcs ammunition for m14 rifle. The arrested subject persons
are presently detained at Siocon MPS for filing appropriate charges in
court.

On or about 1:00 PM on September 30, 2017. Operatives of
Mutia MPS and Zamboanga Del Norte PPSC conducted buy bust operation at Brgy
Diolen, Mutia, Zamboanga Del Norte, against Elmer Caling Culanag, male a
resident of Mitimos, Rizal, Zamboanga Del Norte. during the operation and drug
trade, the suspect noticed that he was transacting a police officer after the
police officer who acted as poseur buyer, directly grasped the hand of the
suspect right after the transaction. However, the suspect resisted arrest and
pulled a handgun tucked on his waist then fired towards the police officer, the
police officer was able to evade and was unharmed that prompted the security
team to retaliate and fired back towards the subject. Which resulted the latter
sustained gunshot wounds on his body while his unidentified companion
immediately fled away on board with his driven motorcycle. suspect was brought
to pinan district hospital but pronounced dead on arrival by the attending
physician dr adonis balmoria.recovered evidences: one (1) unit caliber 9mm
pistol inserted with magazine loaded with two (2) live ammos; four (4) empty
shells of 9mm; one (1) pc five (5) hundred peso bill (marked money); four (4)
pcs small plastic sachets containing white crystalline granules believed to
“shabu”; two (2) leather wallets containing the following items; seven (7) pcs
one hundred peso bills, one (1) pc palawan pawnshop suki card; one (1) pc black
musang guardian id card and one (1) document from office of the provincial
warden (prisoner discharged from prison). Neutralized suspect was turned-over
to his relatives.
