Escapee of Tampilisan MPS, Recovered
TAMPILISAN,
ZaNorte (July 3, 2018) - On July 1, 2018
at about 4:00 AM, PNP elements of Tampilisan MPS together with 13th Special
Force Company and Barangay officials and Tanods of Brgy. Situbo, Brgy.
Tininggaan, Brgy. Cabong and Brgy. Sandayong, all of Tamipilisan, Zamboanga Del
Norte continuously conducting hot pursuit operation for recovery of escaped
detainees.
On or about 6:00 AM of same date said
team successfully recovered detainee Alfin Moreno Omar at Brgy. Situbo,
Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte.
However, while conducting hot pursuit
operation he resisted and attacked the Brgy. Tanod and thereat he was hit at
the back portion of his body and thereafter he was pin down and rushed to Ipil
District Hospital for physical examination and medication.
On or about 7:00 AM of same date, upon
continuous operation the team also successfully recovered detainee Willboy
Galon Pedi at Brgy. Situbo, Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte and later brought
to Tampilisan MPS detention cell for proper disposition and further
investigation.
Man Held in Checkpoint for Drugs
BALIGUIAN,
ZaNorte (July 3, 2018) - PNP team of
Baliguian MPS held one person with illegal drugs during the conduct and
implementing the simultaneous checkpoint at National Highway of Brgy Kauswagan,
Baliguian, Zamboanga del Norte at about 5:40PM of July 01, 2018.
The operating troops plugged down one
Blue Rusi 125 motorcycle without plate number attached and the team ask MC
documents and driver’s license. When the said driver, identified later as Jogie
Domingo Y Lumimba, 41 years old, male married and a resident of Brgy.
Poblacion, Baliguian Zamboanga Del Norte opened his wallet, the police officer personally
saw one heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules
believed to be shabu on his wallet.
Right after, said driver was arrested
and informed his Miranda rights and anti-torture warning on a dialect which is
conversant to him. Also recovered from his possession and control were one pc
Black wallet, two pcs Disposable lighter, two pcs Identification cards.
2 Detainees Escaped from Tampilisan MPS
TAMPILISAN, Zamboanga del Norte (July 1,
2018) –
Two detainees of Tampilisan MPS escaped from custody by destroying the welded
round bar of the temporary detention cell of said police station on June 29,
2018 at about 7:10pm.
The
two escaped detainees were identified as Alfin Morino Omar, 18, single and a
resident of Brgy. Kasakon, RT Lim, Zamboanga Sibugay who was arrested last June
9, 2018 for theft of carabao, and Willboy Galon Pedi, 19, single and a resident
of Brgy Situbo, Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte who was also arrested last June
10, 2018 for theft of Motorcycle.
Initial
investigation disclosed that at about 7:00pm of June 29, 2018, during the
inspection conducted, detainees were seen all inside the detention cell.
While
personnel of Tampilisan MPS partake their dinner at around 7:05pm, a detainee
identified as Armin Amit Barro, 28, married and a resident of Brgy Tiningaan,
Tampilisan, noticed that his two co-detainees escaped and he shouted in visayan
dialect “Sir Ang Pinireso Nakagawas Sa Presohan”.
There
and then duty personnel were alerted upon hearing the shout and upon
verification, the welded round bar were already damaged/removed. Right after of
the incident, personnel of said station conducting hot pursuit operation for
possible capture of escapees.
Personnel
of Tampilisan MPS are still conducting manhunt operation for the possible
capture of the escapees.
Rape suspect arrested
SIOCON, Zamboanga del Norte (July 1, 2018)
- A
49-year old wanted person was arrested by operatives of Siocon MPS at Barangay
Talisayan, Zamboanga City at about 8:20 PM of June 29, 2018.
Police
identified the arrested wanted person as Wilfredo Bucaling a.k.a Bubuy, 49
years old, Male, married, Filipino a construction worker and resident of
Barangay Talisayan, Zamboanga City.
He
was arrested by virtue of Warrnat of Arrest for the crime of Rape in relation
to R.A 7610 with C.C.no 2016-09-09(1379) issued by Hon. Laarni N. Dajao Presiding
Judge of RTC Branch 27 at Siocon Zamboanga del Norte with No Bail Recommended.
Arrested
wanted person was detained at Sibuco MPS for proper disposition.
1 Dead, 2 Others Injured in Motor Vehicle
Traffic Accident
KATIPUNAN, Zamboanga del Norte (July 1,
2018) –
One dead while two others were injured in Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident
transpired along the National Highway of Brgy. Uno, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del
Norte at about 9:00 o’clock in the evening of June 29, 2018.
Immediately
personnel of Katipunan MPS responded and upon arrival discovered that three
motorcycles were involved:
MC1
-Honda bravo, with plate number 2945 JA, black/green color combination, driven
by Junie Aronda y Randes, 36 years old, male, a resident of Brgy. Uno,
Katipunan, with driver’s license number JO1-18-001870 expired on 2028/01/12.
MC2
-Honda XRM 125, color red/white/black combination, no OR and CR presented
driven by Nielvan Rey Magcanta y Jasmin, 21 years old, single, male, filipino,
a resident of Brgy Balacan, Salug, no driver’s license presented with back
rider Kenneth Ytang y Naong, 24 years old, male, single, filipino, a resident
of Brgy. Balacan, Salug,
MC3
-Honda Wave 100, color blue/black combination, bearing Plate Number 3321 QC,
driven by Jerrick Tizon y Ganta, 17 years old, male, single, grade 3 ALS
student and a resident of Relocation Site, Brgy, Olingan, Dipolog City, no
driver’s license presented.
Initial
investigation conducted disclosed that while the MC1 was running from Dipolog
City going to Purok 4, Brgy, Uno, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte the MC2 over
take the MC1 but MC2 accidentally hit head-to-head collision on the approaching
MC3 who is running from opposite direction going to Dipolog City.
The
MC3 thrown away and hit the MC1 and all MCs fell the surface causing the driver
of the MC2 and MC3 suffered injuries while the driver of the MC1 sustained
minor injury.
The
driver of MC2 and MC3 was immediately brought to Zamboanga Del Norte Medical
Center but the attending physician declared the driver of MC3 dead on arrival.
Further,
Rica Mae A. Capitania, RN, MD stated that the driver of MC2 was under the
influence of alcohol during the incident.
All
motor vehicle involve was to Katipunan MPS for safe keeping while the driver of
MC2 was temporarily detained at Katipunan MPS for proper disposition.
1 Dead, 1 injured in Vehicular Accident at
Liloy
LILOY, Zamboanga del Norte (July 1, 2018) –
One
dead and one injured in Vehicular
accident occurred along National Highway of Barangay Kayok, Liloy, Zamboanga
del Norte. at around 2:55pm of June 29, 2018
Immediately,
personnel of Liloy MPS led by PO3 Allayn Ancheta, proceeded at said place for
investigation.
Two
vehicles were involved:
Veh
1 –Mitsubishi Fuso with Plate No. 090807, with engine no. 6D22-143986,
FU416T-510045 owned by Richard Young Lim a resident of Burgos St. Dipolog City
and driven by Mr Joseph Calunod Calunod, male, Filipino, married, 45 years old
and a resident of Barangay Mate, Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte, holder of
professional drivers license no. JOI-04-042450 that expire on 2019-02-04 and
Veh
2 -described as Baja motorcycle with side car color red and black combination
bearing Plate No. 5068 JI, with Chassis No. MO2D-DUZZSWH60813 driven by a
certain Mark A. Gumandol, male, Filipino, married, 27 years old together with
his back rider Mr Jelbie Embodo Tredes, male, Filipino, single, 16 years old
and both residence of Comunal, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Initial
investigation conducted disclosed that both vehicles were running in opposite
direction and upon reaching at the place of accident, both vehicle collided
with each other that resulted to incurred damages and serious injuries to the
motorcycle driver Mark A. Gumandol and back rider Jelbie Embodo Tredes.
Both
were immediately brought to Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital for
medical treatment but Mr Jelbie Embodo Tredes was declared dead on arrival by
the attending Physician while driver still at the hospital for medical
treatment.
Vehicles
and the driver of Fuso Joseph Calunod Calunod is now under the custody of Liloy
MPS for proper disposition.
Campaign against Illegal Logging
PIÑAN, Zamboanga del Norte (July 1, 2018) -
PNP
Personnel of Piñan intercepted a Ten wheeler Truck with Plate No. AAS 3406 at
Tinglan, Mutia, Zambaoanga Del Norte at about 12:00 PM of June 29, 2018.
The said
truck was registered under the name of Ramel O Tacbaya of Dapitan City, driven
by Mohamad Pitogo Casnor, 25 years old, single a resident of Barangay Aseñero,
Dapitan City together with Roel Bacara Quime Quime, 33 years old, of Barangay
Masidlakon, Dapitan City and Eight laborers identified as the following:
1. Junrey Gubatan
Pagas, 21 yrs old of Lanawan, Salug,
2. Bagasol Disoacido,
40 yrs old,
3. George Elcamel
Albuen, 28 yrs. old, all of Aseñero, Dapitan City,
4. Reyjohn Bongcawel
Butalid,
5. Rustam Bacara Quime
Quime, 19 yrs old,
6. Rodel Bacara Quime
Quime, all of Barangay Masidlakon, Dapitan City,
7. Avelino Alum
Ticson, 29 yrs old, resident of Newland, Mutia, Zamboanga Del Norte and
8. Joseph Buca Abiara,
19 yrs. old, of Sitio Sicawang, Sto. Niño, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte.
They
Loaded and transported assorted coconut lumbers flitches with a total volume of
Six Thousand Three Hundred Sixty 6,360 bd/ft (4.5m X 1.4 X 2.4).
The
suspect presented an Expired Transshipment Clearance dated June 21, 2018 valid
until June 23, 2018, under the name of Mrs. Ma. Consuelo F. D’Orival land owner
and Ramel O. Tacbaya Coconut Lumber dealer, to be transported at Tinglan,
Mutia, Zambaoanga Del Norte to Port of Dapitan City dated 24 May -18 extended
until June 15, 2018.
Immediately,
the team coordinated to January Lee J. Balagot, Agriculturist II, PCA, Piñan,
Zamboanga Del Norte and to Monico F Adaza Jr., Agriculturist II/ Acting PCMARS,
PCA, Dipolog City who conducted inventory of said illegally transported
coconut flitches now under the custody
of Pinan, MPS for proper disposition.
RA 9262 Violator Arrested in Sibutad
SIBUTAD, Zamboanga del Norte (July 1, 2018)
– The
Operatives of Sibutad MPS arrested a wanted person at Purok 1 Poblacion
Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:00 o’clock in the morning of June 29,
2018.
Police
identified the arrested person as Paking Santialla Y Cagendangan, 27 years old,
male, Single, Filipino a resident of Purok 5, Barangay Sipaloc, Sibutad
Zamboanga Del Norte. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by
Hon. Judge Rogelio D. Laquihon, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court of Ninth
Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City, dated December 28, 2012, Violation of
Section 5(a) Of R.A. 9262, docketed under Criminal Case no. 17508 with the bail
bond fixed at P10,000.00 for his temporarily liberty.
During
his arrest, the accused was properly informed the nature of his arrest and his
constitutional rights in dialect known to him and his right to demand a
physical/medical examination and he was subsequently brought to Sibutad MPS for
proper documentation prior commitment to wanting court.
Female died in Electrocution Incident
GODOD, Zamboanga del Norte (July 1, 2018) – A female died in
electrocution incident at Brgy Bunawan, Godod, Zamboanga Del Norte on June 30,
2018 at about 5:30am.
Police
Investigator
on case PO2 Ramil S. Tequil identified the victim as Felomina Quimiguing Tuyac,
52, female and a resident of said place.
Investigation
conducted disclosed that while the victim was hanging laundry at the
clothesline made up of tire wire, she was electrocuted that caused her sudden
death.
PO2
Tequil said the clothesline made of tie wire was connected to a rubber and
marang trees wherein there was a service dropped wire of ZANECO attached to it.
Cadaver
of the victim was turned-over to her relatives after post mortem examination
conducted for proper disposition.
1 Arrested in Implementation of Search
Warrant in Dapitan
DAPITAN CITY (July 1, 2018) - Combined elements
of Dapitan City Police Station, CIDG, Zamboanga Del Norte PPO Intelligence
Branch and Zamboanga Del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company arrested one
person during the implementation of Search Warrant at Brgy Bagting and Brgy Oro,
Dapitan City at about 9:45am of June 30, 2018.
The search was conducted particularly at the
two houses of Abraham Hanks Lincoln Gonzaga Alota, 47, married of the said
barangays.
Police
arrested the house owner by virtue of SW no. 005-2018, dated June 29, 2018,
issued by Judge Jose Rene G Dodoyano of Br 6, 9RTC, Dipolog City for violation
on RA 10591.
The
operating troops confiscated in the house of the suspect were the following:
a.
One unit improvised homemade shotgun without serial number,
b.
One pc improvised magazine of the homemade shotgun,
c.
Two pcs twelve (12) gauge shotgun live ammunitions, and
d.
Seven pcs twenty gauge shotgun live ammunitions.
Arrested
person is now in custody of CIDG, Minaog Dipolog City for proper disposition.
