Drug Suspect Arrested in Drug buy-bust operation
SALUG,
Zamboanga del Norte (Oct. 10, 2018) – The
Operatives of Salug Police Station in coordination with PDEA conducted drug
buy-bust operation at Barangay Bacong, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 11:00pm
of October 9, 2018.
The operation was resulted to the
arrest of Jonny Navarete Andus, 36 years old and resident of afore-said place and
his brother a certain Roberto Navarete Andus, 20 years old, and also a resident
of same place. Both listed as newly identified drug personalities of Salug MPS.
Confiscated from his possession were
four sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of Two Thousand
Pesos (₱2,000.00); 3 pcs of one hundred peso bill and One pc Two hundred peso bill
as buy-bust money; nine pcs of twenty peso bill and five pcs one hundred peso
bill as proceeds money.
Arrested suspect together with the
confiscated items were brought to Salug MPS for proper disposition.

Most Wanted Person, Arrested in Law Enforcement
SIBUCO,
Zamboanga del Norte (Oct. 10, 2018) – The
Combined operatives of Sibuco Police Station in coordination with the Zamboanga
City Police Office conducted law enforcement operation at Zamboanga Wharf,
Zamboanga City at about 5:00pm of October 9, 2018.
The operation was led to the arrest of
Nelson Sacay aka Burut, 39, male, single, farmer and a resident of Brgy
Basak,Sibuco Zamboanag del Norte and a Top1 Most Wanted Person of Sibuco MPS.
The arrest suspect has a with pending warrant of arrest issued by RTC9
Branch 27, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte for the crimes of Murder and Frustrated
Murder docketed under Criminal Case Nos. 918 and 914, respectively.
Investigation showed that at around
5:00PM of same date, Sibuco MPS received information that the said Wanted
person is travelling from Basilan province to Zamboanga City.
Immediately upon receipt of the said
report, Operatives of Sibuco MPS dispatch to Zamboanga Wharf to monitor the
veracity of the said report particularly where the vessels from Basilan embark.
At around 7:00pm of same date, when the
vessel arrived at Zamboanga City and when the passengers depart in the ports
area, walking on foot towards the exit of Ports of Zamboanga City, the team saw
and positively identified the wanted person, but with unexpected tragedy as the
team was about to arrest, the subject wanted person got heart attack and they
immediately brought to Brent Hospital Zamboanga City together with his live-in
partner.
After a several hours, subject person
was declared dead by the attending physicians due to cardiac arrest.
Subject person at present is now at villa
funerary veteran’s avenue Zamboanga City preparing for his proper interment
thus subject cadaver was properly turned-over to his immediate family.
Robbery
and Threat Incident
SIOCON,
Zamboanga Del Norte (Oct. 9, 2018) - The
person of Emelita Visitacion y Piedad, 49 years old, female, single,
businesswoman and a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte
appeared Siocon MPS and reported that at about 7:30pm of October 8, 2018
allegedly she was threaten to kill and her gasoline station will be burned by
the group.
The group positively were identified as
the following:
Al- Gamar Bantalan y Alad-ad, 15 years
old, resident of Brgy M. Francisco, Siocon;
Christian Jay Neri y Sardual, 15 years
old, resident of Brgy Kilalaban, Baliguian;
Saddam Ummal y Ponding, 15 years old,
resident of Brgy. S. Arabi, Siocon and one unidentified minor male individual.
Accordingly said minors were allegedly
been stealing the groceries from Quinex Grocey, Refilling Station and Gas
Station and was just discovered by the proprietor Emelita P. Visitacion.
Investigation to the complainant
revealed that around 6:30pm of same date, the complainant noticed that some of
the groceries displayed inside their store/grocery were already missing, like
assorted cigarettes, noodles, soap, etc.
The complainant further added that not
only grocery items were stolen but also her original “Rayban” sunglass worth Php10,000.00,
one set speaker, one unit Black Samsung J cellphone with estimated worth of
₱10,000.00, one unit Samsung tablet, cash (estimated to P10,000.00).
Complainant further added that Al-
Gamar and Christian Jay were her gasoline attendant and that she trusted them,
but they just victimized her. Suspects gained entrance to the grocery store by
destroying the door of the Quinex Water Refilling Station and then destroying
the glass wall connecting the water station and the groceries.
Complainant further revealed that when
she fired her two employees (Al- Gamar and Christian Jay) they threatened that
they will burn the gasoline station.
Meanwhile, at about 09:30am of October
9, 2018, the above name complainant informed Siocon MPS asking for police
assistance thru cellular phone call that the above name minors and other one
unidentified male individual returned to Quinex Water Refilling Station and Gas
Station for unknown purpose.
Immediately, alert team of Siocon MPS
and RMFB9 proceeded to the reported place of incident to verify the veracity of
report.
Upon reaching thereat, above name
minors scampered but Al- Gamar Bantala Y Alad-Ad was then immediately taken
into police custody and confiscated from his possession and control one unit
Black Samsung J cellphone.
Christian Jay Neri and Saddam Ummal were
also arrested during the conduct of hot pursuit operation.
Al- Gamar Bantala Y Alad-Ad admitted
before the pursuing authority that some of their stolen items were already sold
and only one-piece soap (silka), the speaker and only one bottle of “Emperador”
were left behind and it was recovered at his dwelling at Brgy. Mateo Francisco
this municipality.
Said minors were brought to Siocon
District Hospital for medical and physical examination prior turned-over to
Municipal Social Works and Development Office for proper disposition and
