Liloy,
Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 1, 2018) - A
notorious gun for hire personality was killed during the law enforcement
through the serving of search warrant operation conducted by combined
operatives of 901st Maneuver Company of RMFB9, Liloy MPS, Provincial
Intelligence Branch and Zamboanga Del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Battalion
Company at Barangay Banigan, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 7:45 PM of November
28, 2018.
PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9
Regional Director identified the fatality as Ricky Limbaga aka Lapad, 44 years
old, Jobless, Married and a resident of Pianon, Kalawit, Zamboanga del Norte,
wanted for the crime of murder issued by
judge of RTC Branch 28, 9th Judicial region, Liloy Zamboanga del Norte.
Accordingly, the operating PNP team
upon serving the said warrant of arrest wherein the suspect noticed the
incoming operating personnel and immediately drew his firearms and fired
towards the direction of the operating team which prompted the team to returned
fire and hit the suspect to the different parts of his body.
The suspect was immediately brought to
Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital by the operating team but the
attending physician Dr. Joseph Lim declared him dead on arrival. Items present
at the crime scene were One (1) unit of .45 Caliber pistol with magazine and
fired cartridge case of .45 caliber pistol.
Ricky Limbaga is considered notorious
and included in the gun for hire watch list of Zamboanga Del Norte PPO and
involved in the series of shooting incident in Zamboanga del Norte AOR to
include the killing of Nilo Dahili, Barangay Councilor of Lumogom, Godod,
Zamboanga Del Norte on October 2, 2018 and the shooting of Atty. Rogelio,
Dumdum at Poblacion, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte on November 11, 2018 and
many others.
As this developed, PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis
D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director lauded and commended the operating police units
for a job well done.
Citing the data from the Regional
Operational Center of PRO9 as of November 29, 2018, a total of 57 guns for hire
personalities operating in Zamboanga Peninsula were neutralized. Of the 57, 38
of them arrested while 21 of them killed in the operations.
Motor
Vehicle Traffic Accident Resulting to Homicide
SINDANGAN,
Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 1, 2018) -
Vehicular traffic accident transpired along the National Highway of Brgy. Lower
Inuman, Sindangan Zamboanga del Norte at about 5:00 AM of November 30, 2018.
The accident was involving two
vehicles:
Vehicle 1 was one unit black and white
combination Honda XRM 125 Motorcycle, driven by Leandro Pumicpic Postigo, 35
years old, male, married and a resident of Leon B. Postigo Zamboanga del Norte
with back rider identified as Florendo Torres, of legal age, male, married and
a resident of Leon B. Postigo Zamboanga del Norte; while
Vehicle 2 was one (1) White Mitsubishi
Fuso 10 Wheeler Aluminum Wing Van, driven by Rico Empil Alvarez y, 42 years
old, male, married, Filipino and a resident of Brgy. Baybay, Liloy Zamboanga
del Norte.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that Vehicle 1 was travelling from North Direction going to South
Direction and upon reaching at the place of incident, accidentally bumped to
Vehicle 2, loaded with estimated 1,700 cases of bottled beer, parked beside the
road facing South direction and in stop engine mode due to mechanical defect.
As a result, the driver and back rider
of Vehicle 2 sustained serious injuries and were brought to Sindangan District
Hospital for medication but the driver Leandro pronounced dead on arrival by
the attending physician Dr. Marcelito Lacaya while the back rider was referred
to Zamboanga Del Norte Medical Center, Dipolog City for further treatment.
Further investigation revealed that the
early warning device used by the driver of Vehicle 2 was dried coconut leaves.
He motorcycle involved is now in the
custody of Sindangan MPS while the wing van was still at the incident area and
not able to run due to mechanical defect.
Arrest
of suspect for Violation of RA 10591
SIAYAN,
Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 1, 2018) –
Siayan MPS received a phone call from Hon. Venicer Sangcaon Marinduque,
Chairman of Brgy Mangilay, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte requesting for police
assistance after they have arrested the suspect for Violation of RA 10591 On
November 29, 2018 at about 9:20 PM.
Actted on the report, PNP personnel of
Siayan MPS immediately responded the said report.
Investigation conducted by PNP responding
team disclosed that Brgy Chairman received information that the suspect
identified as Alfred Dion Ugal Dionaldo, 50 years old, married, Filipino,
farmer and a resident of Barangay Mangilay, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte was
drinking liquor at the vicinity of the above-mentioned barangay which clearly a
violation of their Brgy. Ordinance (Total Liquor Ban) in respect to their
religion and adopted by the said Barangay.
After receiving the said information,
Brgy Chairman Marindoque together with his Tanods went to the reported place
and they confronted the suspect but the suspect in arrogant manner together
with his companion Micheal Ramirez Y Dagotao got angry and suspect attempted to
draw a firearm from his waist that prompted the said Barangay Chairman Marindoque
to grab the hands of the suspect and conducted body searched and recovered from
the suspect’s possession the one unit homemade 38 revolver with four (4) live
ammunition.
Immediately the said Brgy Chairman and
Tanods arrested to the suspect and later turned-over to the PNP responding
team. Arrested suspect is now detained Siayan MPS for proper disposition.

Zamboanga Del Norte (Dec. 1, 2018) – The
Police elements of Zamboanga Del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company, CIDG-9
and Tampilisan MPS, Zamboanga Del Norte PPO conducted joint manhunt operation
at Brgy Poblacion, Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte particularly at the
Municipal Building at about 8:15 PM of November 29, 2018.
The operation was led to the arrest of

Subject persons were arrested by virtue
of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Oscar Tomarong of Branch 28, 9th RTC,
Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte dated November 29, 2018, for violation of Sec 261
(E) Of the Omnibus Election Code, docketed under Criminal Case no. L-003500
with bail bond amounting to Php75,000.00 each.
Arrested wanted persons are now
detained at Tampilisan MPS for proper disposition.

on Vehicle Traffic Accident
LILOY,
Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 2, 2018) -
Motor vehicle traffic accident transpired at Brgy Del Paz, Liloy, Zamboanga del
Norte at around 2:50PM of December 1, 2018.
The accident was involving one Series Liner
bearing plate number AAB 9728, bus number 553 owned by Valla Car Transit Inc.,
Brgy Mansilingan, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental and driven by Wilfredo
Carpena Baynosa, male,married, 52 years old, driver and a resident of North
Pajanokoy, Baybay, Bacolod City and one male minor identified as Glen Sagang
Villacencio (Victim) , male, single, 9 years old, student and a resident in
brgy Dela Paz, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte.
Initial investigation disclosed that
the Series Liner was travelling from Bacolod City going to Zamboanga City upon
reaching at Brgy Dela Paz, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte the victim suddenly cross
to the pedestrian without knowing the incoming vehicle thereby and accidentally
hit at the front bumper by the said incoming vehicle which resulting to
incurred injuries to the different parts of his body and subsequently brought
to Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital for medication but unfortunately
he was pronounced DOA by the attending physician Dr. Rukmini Alip.
The aforesaid vehicle was temporarily
impounded to Liloy MPS for proper disposition.

9262 Violator Cuffed
SINDANAGAN,
Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 2, 2018) – The
PNP personnel of Sindangan MPS, Zamboanga Del Norte in coordination to Siayan
MPS Conducted manhunt operation at Sitio Libulan,Barangay Paranglumba, Siayan,
Zamboanga Del Norte about 12:20AM of December 1, 2018.
The operation was led to the arrest of
the suspect identified as one Ruel Aloy Maricol, 30 years old, male, single,
resident of Sitio Libulan, Barangay Paranglumba, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of
WoA for violation of Sec 5 of RA 9262 issued by Presiding Judge Reymar
Lacaya-RTC 9 Branch 11, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte issued on August 15,
2018 docketed in criminal case number S-5803 with bail bond recommended is
fixed to sexty thousand pesos (Php60,000.00) for his provisional liberty.
Subject person was brought to Sindangan
District Hospital for physical and medical examination and brought back to
Sindangan MPS for arrest booking prior turn-over to the issuing court.

Man Held
RIZAL,
Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 2, 2018) - PNP
personnel of Rizal MPS and PNP personnel of Bonifacio MPS conducted Joint
Manhunt Operation at Purok 2, Brgy. Dimalco, Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental at
about 10:25 PM of December 1, 2018.
The operation was resulted to the
successful arrest of the suspect identified as one Rosalito Lumotan Ilanan,
alias Dongkoy, 40 years old, married, Driver of GAMA Foods, and a resident of
Purok 2, Dimalco, Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental.
He was arrested by virtue of Alias
Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness in relation to R.A
7610, docketed under Criminal Case # 15573, with thirty-six thousand pesos
(Php36,000.00) bail bond indicated, duly issued and signed by Hon Rogelio D
Laquihon, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7,
Dipolog City, dated December 28, 2009.
Arrested wanted person is presently
detained at Bonifacio MPS for documentation and proper disposition.
Vehicular
Traffic Accident
DAPITAN
CITY (Dec. 2, 2018) - Vehicular traffic accident was
occurred in front of Lite Ferries Ticketing Booth of Brgy. San Vicente, Dapitan
City at about 12:00 midnight of December 1, 2018.
Two (2) vehicles were involved of the
said accident. Vehicle 1 described as black Pick-Up Toyota Hilux, bearing plate
no. YHF505, registered under the name of Universal Fair Corp., (UFCC), driven
by Engr. Heremias Tero Julpa, 42 years old, male, a resident of P-28 Aglayan,
Malaybalay,Bukidnon who presented his Professional Driver License.
Said vehicle were also on board with
four (4) unidentified passengers. Vehicle 2 described as gray Mitsubishi Mirage
G4 GLS1, bearing plate no B1-0737, registered and driven by Francisco II Ances Nuñez,
32 years old, male, married, and a resident of 25-H Nichols Heights Guadalupe,
Cebu City, who presented his Non Prof Driver’s License.
Initial investigation conducted by
Dapitan CPS disclosed that both vehicles went to the said place to buy a ticket.
V1, which arrived first and parked in front of the said ticketing booth.
After his companion brought the ticket,
the driver of V1, drove his vehicle backward and accidentally hit the V2, which
was about to parked, that causes damages at the driver’s door of V2.
Both vehicles were brought to Dapitan
CPS for proper disposition. After which, both parties decided to agreed that
damages are to be shouldered by V1 via insurance.

Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 4, 2018) - A
36-year old man listed as Top 9 most wanted person of Sindangan MPS was
arrested during law enforcement operation carried out by 901st Maneuver Company
of RMFB9, Sindangan MPS and Roxas MPS at Barangay Lower Irasan, Roxas,
Zamboanga del Norte at about 8:25 AM of December 3, 2018.

Regional Director identified the arrested suspect as Wilson Pacho Mendez, 36
years old, married, male, and a resident of
Paranglumba, Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte.
Suspect was arrested for the crime of
“Attempted Homicide” docketed under
criminal case number 12853 with bail bond recommended to Twelve Thousand
Pesos (Php 12,000.00) dated September 4, 2017 signed by Hon. Nimfa B
Carreon-Padao, MCTC Presiding Judge.
Subject wanted person was arrested
through intelligence driven operation in utilizing the services of an asset to
assists in locating the subject who reportedly gone into hiding at Roxas,
Zamboanga del Norte after knowing that a warrant of arrest was issued against
him.
Subject person was brought to Sindangan
District Hospital for physical and medical examination and brought back to
Sindagan MPS for arrest booking prior to turn over to the issuing court.
Hacking
Incident
PIÑAN,
Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 5, 2018) - A
hacking incident transpired at DPWH, District Office at Brgy. Segabe, Piñan,
Zamboanga Del Norte at about 12:15 PM of December 4, 2018.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that the suspect identified as Sonnie Acal Luod, 44 years old,
married and a resident of Brgy. San Jose, La Libertad, Zamboanga Del Norte and
a casual employee of DPWH had a heated argument.
The victim was identified as Alan
Labadlabad Recamara, 46 years old, married and a resident of Brgy. Sulangon,
Dapitan City also a casual employee of DPWH.
Suspect took a shovel and immediately
hacked the victim in which the sharp part hit the right thigh of the victim
that caused serious wound.
Suspect was arrested by responding
personnel of Pinan MPS while the victim was brought to Piñan District Hospital.
Shooting
Incident
SIAYAN,
Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 5, 2018) -
Shooting incident transpired at Sitio Tugop, Paranglumba, Siayan, Zamboanga Del
Norte at around 3:00 PM of December 4, 2018.
Initial investigation disclosed that
the suspect identified as Richard Bagot Sigiding, 30 yrs old, farmer a resident
of Sitio Tugop, Paranglumba, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte where a having a
drinking spree together with the victim identified as Dionecio Simbulaan Umbac,
56 yrs old, farmer and a resident of same place and their friend identified as
Jose Cabilin Binondo at the store owned by Joselito Tenido.
Moments later, Richard (the suspect)
and Jose were having an argumentation wherein the victim tried to pacify.
However, a fistfight ensued between the
victim and the suspect and later the suspect drew a homemade pistol from his
waist and shot the victim hitting at his left chest.
The suspect then fled away while the
victim was rushed to Siayan Diagnostic Center. Siayan MPS now conducting
manhunt operation to arrest the suspect.
Electrocution
Incident Resulted to Death
DAPITAN
CITY (Dec. 6, 2018) - Electrocution incident occurred at
about 9:30 AM of December 5, 2018 took place at Sitio Dap-dap, Brgy Banonong,
Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The victim was identified Dolly Mae
Recamara Ong, 29 years old, female, married and a resident of same place who
was accidentally electrocuted which resulted to her death at said place.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that at about 9:30 in the morning of same date, the victim was
decorating for her aunt’s wake and upon testing the lights of such, when she
was suddenly electrocuted.
Cadaver was turned over to her family
and now lies at the Gamalinda Funeral Investigator on case – PO3 Nick
Quimiguing with CP number 9396355137.
A
female was killed in Shooting Incident
LILOY,
Zamboanga del Norte (Dec.7, 2018) – A
female was killed in Shooting incident transpired at Barangay San Miguel, Liloy,
Zamboanga Del Norte at around 5:50 in the afternoon of December 6, 2018.
Acted on the report, PNP personnel of
Liloy MPS proceeded to the area purposely to verify the veracity of said
report.
Upon arrival thereat, it was confirmed
that there was a shooting incident happened wherein the victim identified as
Sally Gom-os Delos Reyes, 40 years old, female, married, and resident of
barangay San Miguel, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte. She was shot to death by
unidentified suspects.
Initial Investigation conducted
disclosed that around 5:40PM of same date while the victim was splitting a
firewood, one motorcycle XRM color blue with white combination suddenly stop
and the back rider disembarked from the motorcycle and without apparent reason
shot the victim hitting her right arm and left side near her breast.
The victim was immediately brought to
Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital by her neighbors for medical
treatment but unfortunately declared dead on arrival (DOA) by the attending
physician Dr. Rukmini Alip.
Recovered from the crime scene was one
(1) pc fired cartridge case of caliber .45 pistols. PNP personnel of Liloy MPS
are still conducting hot pursuit operation, while duty operation center
immediately coordinated with neighboring Police Stations for possible arrest of
the suspects. Motive of the incident still to be determine.
Report
on Digging of Deep-well resulting to the Death
SALUG,
Zamboanga del Norte (Dec. 7, 2018) – An
accident on digging of deep-well that resulting to the death of one person and
hospitalization of two (2) others on December 06, 2018 at about 06:30 PM, at
Barangay Tapalan, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte,
The victim identified as Alexander
Ongcoy Ignacio, 46 years old, single and a resident of Barangay Poblacion,
Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay and hospitalization of two (2) other persons identified
as one Tirso Pagaran Barsabal, 54 years old, married and a resident of Barangay
Tapalan, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte and Angelito Combista Tabanao, 55, years
old, married and a resident of Dacon Homes, Ayala, Zamboanga City.
Accordingly, the incident transpired at
about 02:00 o’clock in the afternoon more or less of same date particularly in
the lot owned by Juanito Somoso and also identified owner of constructed
deep-well.
Initial investigation conducted this
office, disclosed that one Juanito Somoso was hired the three (3) persons
mentioned-aboved to contract the deep-well excavation at Barangay Tapalan,
Salug nearby their residence.
That estimated depth of the said
constructed deep-well was about 45 meters more or less and then they hired a
water pump engine which also owned by father of victim Alexander Ignacio that
will be used on their excavation of the deep-well.
That considering the depth of the
constructed deep-well they bring down the water pump engine inside the
constructed well but while turning on the engine and minutes gone by the three
persons slowly felt a hard to breath and dizziness that believed to be
suffocated by the smoke of the said water pump engine.
After feeling on the hard to breathe
they manage to went out but unluckily the victim Alexander Ignacio while on his
way up the victim collapsed and fell down back on the deep-well which he
suffered severe injuries on his head that believed to be the cause of his death.
That while the other two persons Tirso
Barsabal and Angelito Tabanao (son in-law) of Juanito Somoso, were also
suffered dizziness and being helped out by the populace and then immediately
brought to Liloy Integrated District Hospital and which they confine of hard to
breath.
While Alexander Ignacio was also
brought on the same hospital but declared dead on arrival (DOA) by the
attending physician due the severe head injuries he suffered. Cadaver was
turn-over to the direct family for his formal interment.
