on Bomb Threat Call
SINDANGAN,
Zamboanga del Norte - On May 11, 2019 at about 3:21 PM,
mobile phone number 09651364573 called Sindangan Municipal Police Station
hotline informing that there was a bomb planted inside Sindangan Cultural
Center located at Brgy Disud, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte where the
necrological service of the slain ABC President Edgardo Pudpud Viñas was held.
The caller was a male but did not
reveal his identity and uttered “nakonsenysa nako mam kay naa man gud bomba
gitanom sulod sa cultural center”.
Immediately, Sindangan Municipal Police
Station led by Police Major Domingo S Murillo II organized a responding team in
coordination with Zamboanga del Norte PPO Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD)
team.
Attendees of the said necrological
service were instructed to get out from the venue and then the responding team
searched for the alleged bomb however it yielded negative result.
After the area was cleared, the
necrological service resumed and successfully completed.
Hacking
Incident
DAPITAN
CITY - Hacking incident transpired at Purok
Mangga, Brgy Ba-ao, Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte at about 5:45 PM of May
10, 2019.
Accordingly, victim identified as
Napoleon Caincay Hayo, 63 years old, single, a resident of Brgy Ba-ao, Dapitan
City together with his friend identified as Jaime Unabia were walking home from
the corns field.
Upon reaching near the house of certain
Warly Jarapan, the suspect identified as Sixto Selorio Furton, 70 years old, a
resident of same place, armed with a bolo, waylaid them and suddenly hack the
victim several times.
The victim sustained hack wounds on his
right eyebrow, upper nose, left side upper nape and on his back and manage to
run and seek help from his sister identified as Rona Bermudo who brought him to
Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital and later forwarded to Zanorte Medical Center for
medical treatment.
Suspect voluntarily surrendered to the
responding PNP personnel and turned-over his bolo with scabbard measuring 16
inches long including the handle.
Suspect is now detained at Dapitan City
Police Station. Motive of the incident was personal grudge.
Arrest
of Wanted Person
LILOY,
Zamboanga del Norte - Police operatives of Liloy Municipal
Police Station have arrested a 43-year old female at Barangay Fatima, Liloy,
Zamboanga del Norte at about 1:10 PM of May 10, 2019.
Police Brigadier Gen. Emmanuel Luis D
Licup, PRO9 Director identified the arrested as Sheevlyn Saladaga Unsang, 43
years old, female, married, Filipina, housewife and resident of Barangay
Fatima, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte.
She was arrested by virtue of Warrant
of Arrest Issued by Judge of RTC-9 Branch 28, 9th Judicial Region, Liloy,
Zamboanga del Norte dated May 8, 2019 for the crime of Estafa with Criminal
Case number L-003697 with a Bail Bond recommended for his temporary liberty was
fixed at Php120,000.00.
Said arrested person is now detained at
Liloy Municipal Police Station for proper disposition
Man
Held in Zambo Norte for Violation on Sec. 261 of Omnibus Election Code
ROXAS,
Zamboanga del Norte - A 29-year old man was apprehended by elements
of 97th Infantry Battalion AFP team led by Lt. Col. Rufino Lim De Leon,
Battalion Commander together with personnel of Roxas Municipal Police Station led
by Police Major Said A Indanan during Joint PNP/AFP COMELEC Checkpoint at
Barangay Nabilid, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte at about 10:10 PM of May 12, 2019.
Police Brigadier Gen. Emmanuel Luis D
Licup, PRO9 Director identified the apprehended person as Abner Baliling
Viloria, male, married, 29 years old and a resident of Denoman, Roxas,
Zamboanga del Norte. accordingly, one of the AFP personnel flagged down a
suspicious person riding Honda Beat Motorcycle and later identified as Abner
Baliling Viloria, male, married, 29 years old and a resident of Denoman, Roxas,
Zamboanga del Norte.
The person being held exhibits
unnatural reaction which prompted the AFP personnel to conduct body search to
the person and confiscated from his possession a bundle of peso bills in
different denomination.
Said person was brought to Roxas Municipal
Police Station along with the confiscated money for inventory with the presence
of Delia M. Lagata, Election Officer III of COMELEC Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte.
Confiscated from Abner Viloria the 30
pcs 500.00 peso bills, 404 pcs 100.00 peso bills and 30 pcs 1000.00 peso bills
amounting to Eighty-Five Thousand Four Hundred (Php 85,400.00) Pesos.
Subject person is temporarily detained
at Roxas MPS for further investigation.
6 Held in Zambo Norte for Violation on
Sec. 261 of Omnibus Election Code
Six individuals were held for Violation
on Sec. 261 of Omnibus Election Code at Purok 2, Barangay Singclot,. Guipos,
Zamboanga del Sur at about 12:00 PM of May 12, 2019.

married, resident of Purok 2, Singclot, Guipos,
Teodoro Sario y Pacuin, 67 years old,
married, a resident of Purok 2, Singclot, Guipos,
Manuel Divinagracia y Banilad, 44 years
old, married, resident of Purok 2, Barangay Singclot,Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur,
Mario Delostrico y Talledo, 44 years
old, married and a resident Purok 1, Singclot, Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur.
Accordingly, prior to the incident, the
Zamboanga del Sur - Provincial Mobile Force Company was conducting mobile
patrol along the vicinity of Guipos and upon report of a concerned citizen for
alleged vote buying/selling the team responded and upon reaching at Purok 2,
Barangay Singclot, Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur, they saw a few people gathered at
the house of one Ricardo Carpio.
The team personally saw one person give
a brown envelop to the other persons and upon received they put the brown
envelop inside their pocket. When they (respondent) saw the Police Officers,
accordingly, they scattered and run into different direction.
Then and there, the police officer
called them to return and requested to show what are inside in their pocket.
Subsequently, the police officers
recovered from their possession were the following items such as; nine (9)
pieces of sample ballot and cash worth seventeen thousand five hundred four
pesos (Php 17, 504).
After the incident, the alleged
suspects of vote buying/selling were now turned over from the Provincial Mobile
Force Company (PMFC) to Guipos Municipal Police Station as well as the pieces
of evidences.
PNP personnel of Guipos Municipal
Police Station are now still conducting thorough investigation and file
appropriate charges against the six (6) respondents.
Fire
Incident
DAPITAN
CITY - Fire incident occurred inside the
Gloria de Dapitan, particularly at the Wardrobe Building Brgy Dawo, Dapitan
City at about 7:30 AM of May 16, 2019.
Immediately, personnel of Daspitan City
Police Station coordinated with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Dapitan
City and responded the said incident.
Initial investigation conducted by
Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Dapitan City, fire started at the Wardrobe
building which scattered towards Horror house.
The said fire incident reached Alert
Level Charlie, which nearby municipalities Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)
responded the said fire incident.
At about 8:45 AM of same date BFP
Dapitan City declared fire in under control and at about 9:25 AM same date
personnel of BFP Dapitan City declared fire out.
Investigation still conducted to determine
the cause of fire. Estimated amount of damaged of properties one million pesos.
Road
Crash Accident
DAPITAN
CITY - On May 15, 2019 at about 3:30 PM, a
road crash accident transpired at Brgy Potungan, Dapitan City involving two (2)
motorcycles described as follows:
MC1- Violet Smash Suzuki MC, bearing
Temp Plate no. 0901397857 driven by Julius Tubat Mutya, 20, single and a
resident of Brgy Sangkol, Dipolog City with back rider Jimmy Abal Mutya, 51,
male, also a resident of same place; while
MC2- Black Skygo MC, bearing Plate no.
JA 38727 driven by Vergil Castillo Acevedo, 45 yo, male, a resident of Purok 3,
Brgy Potungan, Dapitan City.
Investigation conducted disclosed that
at about 3:30 PM of same date, MC1 was travelling behind MC2 traversing the
National Highway going to Dipolog City. Upon reaching at the place of incident,
MC1 U-turned to the right lane and suddenly crossed the national highway but it
was collided with MC2 which was travelling from behind.
The driver of MC2 was thrown from his
driven motorcycle inflicting serious injuries on the different parts of his
body that resulted to his instantaneous death while the driver of MC1 and his
back rider also sustained slight injuries on the different parts of their body
were brought to Jose Rizal Memorial hospital for medication.
Motorcycles involved were temporarily
impounded at Dapitan City Police Station for proper disposition.
Man
Held in Sindangan COMELEC Checkpoint
SINDANGAN,
Zamboanga del Norte -
Police elements of Sindangan Municipal Police Station led by Police
Major Domingo Suarez Murillo II together with the RFMB9 901st personnel conducted
COMELEC checkpoint at Barangay Ramon Magsaysay, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte
at about 4:00 AM of May 15, 2019.
The operation was led to the
interception of Danilo Gantalao Olag, 31 years old, male, single, a resident of
Brgy. Mangilay, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte, who committed a violation in
relation to COMELEC Resolution no. 10446, sec 261 of the Omnibus Election Code
Art XXII, Sec 32 of RA no. 7166, recovered from his possession are the
following items:
a. one (1) sling bag colored black;
b. one (1) unit of colored black Uzi
.9mm para with serial no. X902070989
c. two (2) magazines with twenty-two
(22) live ammos.
The suspect was brought to Sindangan
District Hospital for physical/medical examination and later brought to
Sindangan Municipal Police Station for filing appropriate charges in court.
