Pedestrian Hit by Rural Bus
ROXAS -
On or about 3:30 AM of February 18, 2018, a vehicular traffic accident
involving pedestrian transpired at National Highway of Brgy Langatian, Roxas,
wherein one Danmark Bagtasos, 17 years old, single a resident of Langatian,
Roxas was accidentally sideswiped by a rural bus transit with plate no. JUL 232
and bus no. 10459 driven by Jerson Soriño, married, 27 years old and a resident
of Mabuhay Liloy. Initial investigation disclosed that at around 2:25 PM of
same date the victim was having a conversation with his friend at the shoulder
of the road when suddenly hit by an incoming rural bus transit travelling from Dipolog
City bound to Labason as a result the victim suffered injuries and was brought
to Corazon Medical Center, Dipolog City. The driver of the bus was now under
custody of Roxas MPS for proper disposition.
